Chapter 41 - The Strange Monster

Takashi walked carefully through the human corpses that were in the hallway. So did Hana and Yuki.

Takashi's steps suddenly stopped. He noticed something strange in the surrounding corpses.

"Are you aware that these bodies are bitten by something" Takashi said. He felt the bite that was on the corpses around him looked huge.

"Yes, I know. It seems like something bigger than a zombie" Hana said.

"Then from that. We'd better hurry up and leave," suggested Yuki. Takashi continued to move forward. With a faster pace of course. They were looking for stairs. I found something big in front of the stairs.

"Damn!" Takashi who walked the very front cursed violently. How not? He watched a huge creature the size of an elephant. The creature appeared to have human-like skin and revealed clear veins. The shape itself is like a pile of fat that accumulates.

Worse the creature Takashi saw was not just one. But there's a lot. Fortunately they were sleeping.

Takashi looked back, he swiftly shut the mouths of Hana and Yuki who might have shouted. The eyes of the two girls were rounded at the same time. They were surprised by what was seen before their eyes.

Feeling long enough to smother Hana and Yuki's mouth, Takashi slowly took off his hand. Then put the index finger in front of the lips.

Hana and Yuki then understood what to do. Takashi kept telling them to keep going. But slowly and carefully. Do not let the creatures that deserve to be called monsters wake up.

Takashi tried to find a way to pass. Because of the large body of these strange creatures cover part of the road. Especially the way to the stairs.

Yuki walked behind Takashi. He gulped repeatedly. His body was also flooded with sweat. Yuki was trying to fight her fear. If there was just a little bit of sound, perhaps the strange creatures around him could awaken.

Clontang!

The sound of a bottle being thrown off rang. Hana was on the spot. The same goes for Takashi and Yuki. Both of them glared towards Hana. The girl could only swallow. Waiting for what happens next.

"Graw!!!" Sure enough, one of the monsters woke up. Hearing the growl he made, the other monsters so follow woke up. Their mouths seemed to be filled with blood. Most likely they are suspects for the large number of human corpses in the hallway.

"Run!" peekit Takashi's. He, Hana, and Yuki immediately ran up the stairs.

The chase then happens. Fortunately, the huge monster did not run so fast. So Takashi and the others were able to escape until they reached the top floor. They did not forget to close the door.

In order to make sure the door is not broken through, Takashi, Hana, and Yuki make a large closet to block the door. Next, they wait.

"Did they chase us all the way here?" ask Yuki.

"Looks not. The creatures must have had a reason to gather underground" Takashi replied speculating.

"They're like zombies but strangely the humans they've eaten don't become zombies" Hana said.

"Yes, I know. That's kind of weird. Was he the spaceship that had just appeared in this era?" respond Yuki.

"One thing is certain. The underground is a dangerous place." Takashi appears to have walked to the roof of the balcony first.
