Hate You, Love You

Hate You, Love You
Wait for Me

"dark brown ?" Ask Amara's mother when she found her daughter sitting in a room whose curtains were closed. Amara's mother put a tray on which there is a bowl of chicken soup and a plate of rice along with a glass of warm water. The money is very tempting, but not for Amara.

Amara's mother walks past her son, intending to open the curtain but Amara quickly forbids him. "Don't !!!" Shouted Amara to make the mother surprised.

"Ara ?" Ask Amara's mother with a frown. He felt strange for his daughter.

"The light made me dizzy, Ma," replied Amara lying.

"Ara would rather be like this, I'm sorry." replied Amara guiltily for yelling at her mother.

"Alright, if so just turn on the lights," the mother bargained but Amara shook her head in disapproval.

"When did you eat dark like this ? Just open the curtain a little, huh ?" Ask her mother again and now Amara nods softly in agreement.

Amara's mother chose to sit on the floor with her son. "Eating now, huh ?" Ask her softly.

Amara nods her head in response, even though she has no appetite for food at all. But this morning Amara was twice high-pitched to the mother until she felt very guilty.

"Mama want a bribe ?"

Amara nodded her head in agreement.

Amara's mother scoops a little rice and mixes it with the chicken soup water she made, then feeds it to her daughter.

Amara opened her mouth slightly and took a bribe from her mother. Amara struggled to chew, because her stomach felt nauseous as if she could not accept the food that entered her mouth.

Amara ran to the bathroom and vomited it. "I'm sorry, Ma" he said, wiping the edge of his eyes with the back of his hand.

Amara's mother approached her son and gave a gentle swab on his back. "It's okay, don't force it. Let's drink first, and eat again later if the nausea has reduced," then he asked Amara to go back into his room and sit his body on the bed.

Amara said her mother gave her a glass of warm water. He took a little sip, because again he felt nauseous. "What exactly are you ?" The mother asked gently, but the question was like a big hammer hitting Amara's chest.

Amara's eyes faded and her palms suddenly began to sweat from the nervousness, anxiety and fear she felt at the same time.

"Anged with Danis ?" Guess her mother because Amara didn't answer.

"Ng-no really, Ma," replied Amara with great difficulty.

"A similar anger Dea ?"

Hearing the name Dea, made Amara feel like her heart was squeezed. He forgot to leave his cousin in the cursed house.

"Ng-no Ma," replied Amara stammering.

"Keep why didn't you come home last night ?" Amara's mother asked gently, but Amara felt increasingly tight in her chest because of the question.

"Dea until the call to your nyariin house. Why are you guys, anyway ?"

"A-Ara is not feeling well Ma. Dizziness cannot stand it, while Dea still has to work. That's why Ara came home first,"

Amara's mother looked into her daughter's eyes deeply. He felt that Amara was not okay. But even he himself did not understand what was happening.

"Ma, A-ara just wants to take her medicine and keep sleeping for a while. Can you ?" Asked Amara who could not stand the look his mother gave him. He really felt ruined because of it.

Amara's mother nodded slowly. "alright... Don't forget the chicken soup at the meal, yes" He got up and walked to the exit. Amara's mother allowed her daughter to rest.

Amara curled up like a fetus. His closed eyes still let out the water. His heart was broken and so was his soul. I want it to feel like Amara is screaming and venting everything but she can't do it, because Amara doesn't want anyone to know about the sad story that happened to her.

"Good morning, Ma, Pa" Gio said as he sat down next to his father. The man was already very neat and fragrant in his work suit. He even shaved the fine hairs on his face. Gio was different from before. His father was surprised.

"What happened to you last night, Gio ?"

Deg !

The question the father asked was like a thunderbolt jarring over Gio's head. The man's face turned pias and his jakun moved up and down, indicating he was gulping his saliva with difficulty.

"What happened to you to change so drastically like this ?" Ask her father again.

"Mh... Nothing," Gio replied lying. He did not have the guts to tell the truth because it would make his parents even more disappointed in him. Gio will try to solve this problem alone.

"really ?" Ask her father again.

"Gi-Gio just wants to get back to a normal life" Gio replied. What happened last night was a hard slap for Gio, and made him stop to drink intoxicating water again. Gio doesn't want to be stupid and hurt anyone else anymore.

"Thank God your sanity is back,"

"Pa !" Cut Mother Gio. She felt that her husband had gone too far in his speech.

But Gio was silent, he did not dispute his father's words.

"From today you will work under Om Johan (the father's brother). All of your facilities and your posts are unplugged, until you can show us if you really have returned to being the old Gio. You will do whatever you are told and as long as it lasts there will be someone watching you. If you fail... Just choose, Papa or you who must leave this world first !"

Gio raised his face, staring in disbelief at the father.

"I don't want to have a child who is a failure and a shame !! " he said again as he got up and left the dining table when breakfast was not finished.

In front of Gio, his mother lowered her head. Hiding her cries from the child. "Your father is just being emotional, don't put it in his heart" said his mother to comfort Gio.

From the way his father looked at him, Gio knew that he was serious about his words. This is the last ultimatum from my father.

"Just calm down, Mama, don't worry. Gio will prove to Papa if Gio wants to change. Gio go yes," said Gio farewell.

Upon arriving outside the house, Gio did not see his luxury car.

"Said Mr, Den Gio only use the car," said a waiter while giving a car key to him. Simple cars from 10 years ago, which are usually used by waiters to shop for their kitchen needs.

Gio received the keys to the car with his chest. He will be patient and make amends for all his mistakes, especially the girl named Amara. Without anyone knowing, Gio carried an identification tag named the girl in his pocket.

"Aaarrrggh," Gio groaned as he stretched out his two achy hands. He also hit his stiff shoulder with a fist. From morning to evening, his work was non-stop. It seems like the father deliberately made Gio unable to leave his office.

Gio works in a room where there are several other employees in it so as not to allow Gio to escape.

And looking for Amara's existence after work was something that could not be done because he would get a bad assessment if he returned home late.

"I'm sorry I couldn't find you today" Gio said as he slowly touched Amara's identification in his pants pocket, it was as if he was talking to the mysterious girl he had not yet known.

"But be calm.I will definitely come to you. Wait for me, Amara," muttered Gio softly almost inaudibly.

Seriate...
