Andressa looked seriously at Lorcan. Really, who would have thought if Lorcan suddenly wanted to open the past sheet that he had been closing tightly. Only a handful of people knew about Lorcan's past. Later today Andressa is the only person who will know the dark time between Lorcan and Leyna.
“Why did you suddenly intend to tell me?” Andressa asked again.
“Because the Queen Mother won't stop wanting to harm you, so I think this is a good time for you to know.”
The atmosphere began to feel heavy. Jason retreated away from the two as this talk no longer included his realm as Lorcan's personal knight.
“Alright, say everything so that I understand how your relationship with the Queen Mother has been going all this time,” Andressa said.
Then Lorcan took a deep breath, he prepared himself to tell the truth hidden long ago.
“Do you know the tragedy of the noble rebellion that occurred in 789?” asked Lorcan to open the story.
Andressa thought for a moment, it felt like she had read about the tragedy in the history book.
“Ah yes, the leader of the rebellion was the noble of the Duke Fayone family right? What was the rebellion related to the Queen Mother?”
“True, Duke Fayone is determined to rule the Emilian empire. Therefore, he intends to overthrow my grandfather's power. However, the rebellion was defeated. All of Duke Fayone's followers were exterminated and put to death with his family at once. But, you know what? Turns out Duke Fayone's daughter disappeared on the day of the execution,” Lorcan explained.
Andressa connected one by one Lorcan's story and then she realized something.
“Don't say Duke Fayone's daughter in question is ...” Andressa looked at Lorcan.
“True, Duke Fayone's daughter is Queen Mother.”
Andressa. Without any further explanation, he knew the cause of Lorcan and Leyna's bad relationship.
“Let me guess again. The Queen Mother comes bearing a new identity and hides the fact that she is the son of Duke Fayone. Then she managed to get your father's heart to enter the palace as empress. The ultimate goal is to take revenge for what happened in the past.”
Lorcan reviewed a faint smile. Andressa was quick to understand even without him explaining once.
“Just like what you think because that's how it really is. I only found out when my father died. The Queen Mother never treated me well. In fact, he could kill my father to launch his revenge,” said Lorcan.
“Hah? What did you say?” Andressa. “Mother Suri killed the Emperor earlier?”
Mimic Lorcan's face was bent. He had to pull back his nightmare. The death of his father was the greatest injury to him.
“Yes, I revealed all that on the day of my father's death. After checking the father's body, found traces of poison. It's possible that he was poisoned at dinner and was found dead in the morning. However, I have no hard evidence to bring down the Queen Mother. Plus the supporters of the Queen Mother came from upper class nobles. I can't fight it outright. “That old lady is so stupid. Though his father was wrong then why did he act as if he was hurt the most here? Ah, dammit! That woman should I teach her a lesson right now?”
