Again a grin rose on Andressa's lips. Marchioness Jevano felt threatened just because of a smile. The longer he dealt with Andressa, the more he felt great danger chasing him.
"I'm not afraid. The Emperor will not punish me. Because what? Because he doesn't want to lose a talented person like me. Just compare your brain and mine, which of us is smarter and more useful to the Emilian Empire?"
Marchioness Jevano held back the wrath against Andressa. Both of his hands clenched so tightly for the sake of suppressing the fiery fury within the chest.
"Basic of the commoners! I'll make sure you get the reward for insulting me! There's no point in me lingering here."
Marchioness Jevano turned her body towards the exit. He forgot to take the bag with money. Andressa smiled mischievously as she looked at the money bag.
"Basic stupid! Why doesn't he remember the money here? I better take some. Think of it as compensation for wasting my time" Andressa murmured, hiding a number of gold coins.
A split second passed, a knight returned to the room. He took the money bag on Marchioness Jevano's orders.
"Why should he remember his money? I wish he had forgotten to let his money be mine."
Andressa rattled at the behavior of Marchioness Jevano. Based on the population, the woman five years ago had a storm because she wanted to take over Selion. However, the leader of the Selion region refused every request of the nobility. After that, they were immediately attacked by a plague.
"Suspicious. The more I thought, the more I became convinced that Marchioness Jevano was suspect. The woman may be involved in this. I have to find out about him."
Andressa quickly moved to write a letter to be sent to Marquess Gencio. He wanted the man to know this before it was too late.
The letter arrived within a few hours to the residence of Marquess Gencio. He opened the letter and read it.
"What the fuck? Jevano Marchioness? That woman is indeed very suspicious, my opinion is the same as that of Miss Andressa. From the beginning I felt something strange about him. He looks very ambitious to take over Selion's territory" muttered Marquess Gencio.
When he finished reading the letter from Andressa, Marquess Gencio immediately deployed several spies to investigate Marchioness Jevano to its roots.
"Hopefully there is a bright spot about the mastermind behind the spread of the plague so that I can prosecute the perpetrator at the court hearing later" Marquess Gencio said.

Then he sat down for a moment while kneading the head temple.
"What should I do to get rid of it? I must not let him know that I am the one who caused the plague to invade Selion's territory. I have to kill him, he can't live much longer. He could be the main threat in my plan."
