Slightly surprised to hear Andressa cursing and cursing the queen mother. Jason was stunned because the beautiful-looking girl had a mouth as sharp as razor. It's no wonder why Andressa has been dubbed an angel-faced human who sometimes behaves like a demon.
“Quiet, Andressa. You're more brutal than I thought. For now let's monitor the movement first. I suspect someone is helping her from behind. Now I'm looking deeper,” Lorcan said.
“You suspect the same thing. I thought so too. There's most likely someone behind the queen mother. That person's position seems to be much stronger than I thought. If not, where might the queen dares to do something that has the potential to harm herself,” Andressa said expressed her thoughts so far.
“I agree with you. I have to think of further plans in the future to prevent the foolish actions of the Queen Mother.”
Lorcan let out a rough sigh. Lorcan's countenance looked exhausted with his mother's attitude.
In between that, Andressa suddenly said, “I have a plan. You want to hear it?”
“Plan? Try telling me. Who knows I can help you carry out your plan.”
Andressa smiled as she got up from the seat. His eyes twinkled and his hands moved to reach out and clasped Lorcan's hands together.
“Let's get engaged!” Andressa said something very shocking without a burden from her mouth.
Lorcan and Jason stumbled on the spot. Andressa was waiting for an answer from Lorcan.
“Bet engaged? M-What do you mean?” Instantly Lorcan was nervous, his face slowly blushing perfectly.
Andressa nodded quickly.
“Iya, engaged. Wh why? Any problems?”
Jason patted his forehead.
“Nona, did you just apply for Emperor?” ask Jason.
The girl reflexively looked at Jason.
“Jeez, Miss. You're playing around, right? How can a woman propose to a man? Moreover, the person you are applying for is the leader of the Emilian empire. Are you crazy?!”
Jason's voice sounded high. He was annoyed that Andressa was acting ordinary even after making a proposal to Lorcan.
“Why are you angry? I mean, this isn't a real fiancee. I want to be Lorcan's contract fiancee. I'm doing this so that I have free access in and out of the palace at once I intend to provoke the Queen mother's emotions until she shows us directly her stupid plan, including showing a supporting figure behind her.”
The two men simultaneously breathed a sigh of relief. Lorcan's heart was almost dislodged hearing Andressa's proposal.
“I think you really want to get engaged to me.” Lorcan said it in a small voice.
“What are you saying? I can't hear your voice,” Andressa said.
“No, I didn't say anything. It's just that I'm a little surprised you're applying for a contract engagement so suddenly,” kilah Lorcan.
Andressa chuckles small. The look on Lorcan's face looked like a confused person. Plus his blushing face made it clear how embarrassed Lorcan was then.
“I'm sorry, I can't make small talk. Wouldn't it be better this way? I'm being honest about my purpose in wanting to get engaged to you. Hows it? You agreed?”
The girl extended her hand to Lorcan. It was hoped that Lorcan would receive his words as a sign of agreement between the two of them.
“Alright, let's do it to unmask the queen mother. From tomorrow I will take care of our engagement.” Lorcan received a helping hand while displaying a meaningful smile and gaze.
“Yes, I look forward to the success of our plan.”
After that moment, Lorcan without lingering directly took care of the preparations for their engagement officially. Of course do not forget the two signed the engagement contract letter which is valid until the issue is resolved.
Exactly one week passed, the news of Andressa and Lorcan's engagement spread lightning-fast across the country. The whole empire was in an uproar over the news, one of the most shocked being Camille.
