Chapter 105 Can't Avoid Destiny ....

A lot of things Elgio has to deal with, a lot of problems as expected. The man was immersed for hours in the office and received numerous reports from each division. Abner goes to see Sunny and hasn't returned since noon. It was almost 8pm when Elgio decided to return home. Marya accompanies her mother because Arumi refuses to go home, although Marya continues to persuade her.

Elgio went awry, on the one hand he had to accompany Marya and on the other hand, his sister was so miserable left by her husband two days after marriage. He came out of the dimly lit office, some employees greeted in the office lobby. Just nod back. Many contracts and orders were cancelled, some cooperation threatened to end and some rivals took advantage of the bad situation to attack their current products. They stopped production for a while until the situation calmed down.

"Go home and rest! Don't make me look like a bad boss!" he said to the employees who were still passing by in the company lobby when the day began to dissolve. They bowed to him and accompanied his footsteps with a troubled look.

He went to the parking lot, opened the car door and sat behind the wheel. The car's engine was turned on and it came out of the company's basement. His life and his family have been pretty rough this week. He hopes it will all be over soon and even though Lucky is in jail in an uncertain time, Elgio hopes the two can be together for a time without problems.

The first red light, the man sends Mary a message of love.

I miss you, can we be together tonight?"

Awaiting reply. Elgio drove back through a crowded city. He was very tired today, seeing Marya could be a tired treat. She misses Marya when she is as aggressive and weird as when Marya teases her as a reporter or when she plays around with her phone to lure her in. Elgio bit his lower lip in his own wrath when he remembered Marya's ridiculous behavior. Second red light, 28 seconds. He contemplated the bright city by street lamps and turned his attention to a woman, looking like Lady Babushka for wearing a head scarf similar to that commonly worn by seniors, also use large dark glasses that cover half of the face, running around while some thugs chase him from behind.

"People even commit crimes in plain sight" he lamented. The woman seemed to be out of breath. Elgio decided to ignore. He himself is in trouble. Why are no security guards visible? Or the woman is a thief, could be a robber. Forgetit!

He returned to driving but his kind heart thrashed as he followed the progress of the events unfolding before his eyes. The woman finally made a mistake, avoiding the crowd but instead pressed in the hall dark enough and the three thugs prepared to catch her.

"Oh right," grumbled Elgio exasperated by the intrusive mercy in his heart. What if Reinha or Marya or Aunt Maribel were in that woman's position and someone seemed to be passing by and just watching.

"Oh shiittt!!!" slamming steering wheel.

The man turned the car towards the hallway and highlighted the three thugs. Two of them had been holding onto the frightened woman. Elgio stepped on the strong brake as the front of the car was about to hit one of them. The man grabbed the weapon from the Dash board slip it behind a suit and dismayed down. Not on the three thugs but on himself for not being able to ignore the situation. He was even persuaded to go home by instinct and hug his wife. Order city security is not his duty.

"Don't interfere, sir!" scold the thugs don't like it.

"Of course, but you guys are acting pretty smart by chasing a weakling. Get your hands off her!" comment Elgio rough.

"Sir, go before my patience runs out!"

"No. What if you're the only ones leaving?" elgio asked.

The man holding the woman gave the code to get rid of Elgio. Fighting is inevitable. From the way they swing punches and kicks, Elgio surmises that these men are not just anyone. They're trained to fight and must be Mafia operatives. Although not a complicated problem for Elgio because the last month he still continues to fight with criminals, but it took a long time for Elgio Durante to fight with two men who began to stagger by his kick. His arm still had not completely recovered from the injury some time ago.

A little effort, finally the man managed to drop the two remaining thugs one who was holding the woman. Elgio thought of using a weapon but the thug first pointed at the woman.

"Remove you, sir, you were wrong to interfere in our affairs" said the thug.

Elgio trimmed his suit. "All right, I'll go" said Elgio cynically. He came to the criminal.

"Stop!"

The gun was aimed at him. Elgio stopped raising his hands and they faced each other. That's when the woman elbowed the criminal's arm so hard that the man was pushed. Without wasting a chance Elgio grabbed the gun and shot the criminal in the thigh and one more shot in the arm holding the gun. The criminal collapsed while his two friends were lying helpless.

Elgio grabs a cell phone to call the police, but the woman suddenly runs to him and restrains Elgio's movements.

"You're not going to do that, Elgio Durante! Don't call the police!"

Elgio was flabbergasted as Irish removed her sunglasses.

"Irish?!" Elgio was astonished and brushed off the Irish grip from him. With evil Elgio thought he should not interfere.

"Why? I'll call the police and they can pick you up, aren't you under government surveillance?" elgio asked looking at the woman in front of him sharply.

"Elgio, I think we should talk. But, you'll save me first" said Irish, sounding terrified.

"No, I'll call the police. Goodbye, Irish." The man turned quickly to the car. Turn the engine on and immediately back off to spin. It was unexpected that Irish Bella pushed in, came in the backseat and hid behind a car bench.

Elgio snorted dislikingly, he wanted to get Irish out but some big, rogue-faced men were seen in the rearview of the car, running around along the dreary shop looking for someone.

"Don't drag me into the trouble you're making Irish! Come outside!"

"If you protect me, you can keep my promise. I'm gonna pull out all the files dragging Durante Land. Some of the Familly Club's guys are after me. They bribed the officers escorting me and chased me. I don't trust the government, I might end up like Rocco Anthony. Help me, Elgio!"

"Irish, I have a lot of problems. I can't involve myself with your problems! Please leave! I'm gonna call Carlos!"

"Carlos is in Gaza right now! Elgio, your phone was tapped, too" Irish said. "Can we get out of here? I'm actually being chased by the Familly Club'."

Elgio observes Irish and finds the woman is not lying. Some men seem to be approaching. Elgio drove the car slowly so as not to cause suspicion. Then rush into the gas when passing by pass.

"You have to go to the police! I'll drive you, Irish!" elgio said he didn't want to take any chances.

"You're not gonna do that!"

"Why can't it?"

"Nothing is clean in the government. You know that the mayor is Viktor Mendeleya's younger brother?"

"Yes, but he's proved he wasn't involved in a Mafia scandal."

"I think he's involved just without proof!"

"Irish stop messing around! If he's involved in a scandal, there won't be any major Mafia arrests!"

"It's just camouflage. You're getting weak Elgio Durante for being surrounded by too many criminals. You've been hunting Lucky Luciano all along. You changed your mind just because that son of a bitch had a special relationship with your sister, and so did Diomanta. You married a mafia daughter so you turned gentle and generous, tolerant of evil. My respect for you is over. You look more like one of them now" complained Irish.

"That's Irish. Lucky changed all along. He was not involved in any crime anymore. That's what pushed me to side with him. About Diomanta, you're mistaken. Me and Princess Salsa Diomanta have been together since we were children. But now Salsa and Sunny have unleashed all their bad influences since they found Marya. They have also stopped committing crimes."

"I have evidence of their crimes that you collected. A Russian hacker stole it from your personal computer, Elgio Durante. I managed to steal it from someone. You'll protect me and hide me or I'll send this file to the public prosecutor. That's why I only asked you to come as a witness but it wasn't really full of dragging you. If you're hiding me, you probably don't have to stand in court to be a witness to your in-laws and your sister-in-law."

"Don't bargain with me, Irish. I'll take you to the authorities now!"

"Whatdoyouwant? Didn't your report have been followed up. You'll be a hero soon because you've cleared the city of the Mafia."

Elgio knows, Irish has offended some of the Mafia. Now the woman is being hunted, chased by the Mafia not just the Family Club.

"Hide me somewhere, until I get asylum."

"We're going to the mayor's house! You will hide there" said Elgio firmly. Hide Irish where? In Durante Land? Is that true? Marya would strangle him, and happily leave him. He could not live without his wife.

"I told you, our mayor may be involved" Irish exclaimed emotionally.

"We'll find out later, Irish!"

Elgio stopped the car by the roadside and called Abner from Benn's old cell phone. He keeps the phone and has not returned it to Marya because Marya is always sad to see it. Mobile phones are the output of years in which, no matter how sophisticated a human brain will not succeed on a phone that only has a few features in its storage space. He will sue those who dare to tap his phone and will make calculations with Russian hackers who have sabotaged his personal computer. He'll meet Francis and ask the man to find out.

"Abner, can you get me off the private line with the mayor?" greet Elgio grimly. Glancing at Irish from the rearview looked extremely agitated. This woman is too brave to act rashly, he suspected after his publication of the Mafia could make him live quietly. He will be pursued for life by them until he shuts up or disappears from the face of the earth. Elgio almost did it lucky Abner controlled himself.

"No Elgio, we can't call the mayor because he refuses to deal with a case involving the Mafia. He does not want to intervene. It's gonna be really hard. What's up?"

"Is there another way? You know my phone was tapped?" ask Elgio.

"tapped? I'll check. Where are you at the moment?"

"Together Irishak Bella. Can you come, Abner?" sahut Elgio short. "Let's go!"

"Don't get involved with him Elgio Durante. Or arrest him and we'll talk! I'll call Francis. The mayor won't refuse if Miss Queena calls."

The phone is turned off while the other phone vibrates.

"Come to me, Elgio Durante. I can't sleep."

Followed by a self-image, a sleepy face half of which sank behind a pillow. Half-covered eyes with a whining expression stared at the camera and lured him home. Elgio exhaled heavily, sitting restlessly.

"Don't sleep first Marya. I need to talk to you about something."

"alright. I miss you so much."

Waiting was the most annoying thing, so when Abner's car came along, Elgio was relieved.

"Irish ..." said Abner flatly.

"Hi Mr. Abner," replied the Irish with a tired face. It seems like he's been chasing all day. "The warrant for the investigation has been issued and Lucky Luciano has also confirmed that you are a suspect. Familly Club' is hunting me!"

"I make sure it's not Luciano or Diomanta!" abner replied calmly. "You're troubled by many Mafia cartels and blatantly attacking them. I thought you had a shield to fend off the counterattack."

"Durante will protect me!"

"No, the government will protect you, Irish," said Elgio firmly. "Abner, take him to Queena and let Irish meet the mayor."

"Francis says Queena was rejected too!"

"Tell him, Irishak Bella is with us because the Mafia is hunting. Irishak asked for protection!"

Irish shakes. "You look so scared being close to me, Elgio Durante?" ask Irish.

"Irish, I have to go home because my wife is waiting. I shouldn't have helped you earlier, I thought you were a senior, an old woman in need of help."

"Are you scared? Because destiny strangely found us?"

Elgio exhaled deeply and was upset. Try patience. "Look! I'm looking for shelter for you, Irish, and the mayor is the place to be. No one will dare to touch you there!"

"No, you'll protect me. There's no guarantee I don't end up like Rocco Anthony."

"It's none of my business."

"So, when I drag you to court, it's none of your business?" ask the Irish sarcas. "You should have asked the thugs earlier, who told them to. I'm sure it was Diomanta's man. Only Diomanta was the most harmed when I opened my voice! Your in-laws are city prisoners and can still take action."

"Take your talk, Irish!"

"You protected Diomanta from evil because of your wife. Am I not sane?"

"Abner ...?!" elgio gritted his teeth. He doesn't want to argue with Irish about anything.

"Don't involve Elgio Durante! I'll take care of you, Irishak Bella. I'll protect you until I can call the mayor. But it's not free, you have to stop dragging Elgio on any business. Or I'll let you be found by the mafia before the trial starts" Abner said, not wanting to compromise.

"It seems Elgio Durante is afraid, can't avoid fate with me! You're the kind of guy I used to dream of, when you were chasing criminals."

"Come down, Irish," cut Elgio. "Come with Abner! My destiny is just a woman named Marya Corazon! Please don't make it up! You dragged me to end up obsessing over me not because you really wanted to subdue evil."

"That's not true. I don't like criminals, you're in it now, Elgio Durante. Just protect them and see how this will end!"

It's inevitable to write this chapter as hard as I thought. I also have to take care of the wedding tomorrow morning at 3 o'clock outside the city. I write this while the car is driving. Keppang....
