Chapter 29 Marya, Open your Self ....

The next morning ....

Everyone gathered and sat around the dining table except for a bodyguard recruited to be Reinha's assistant .., standing clumsily in the corner of the room. The man's gaze was straight forward expressionlessly; sculpting the mannequin tub in M23 Fashion. That flat face is born a question .... Do all bodyguards have to look like that? He refused to join when Elgio had called repeatedly.

On one side of the table, Marya Corazon sits in tension because she is not used to being stared at by many pairs of eyes, especially without a hoodie that is always a shield. The determination to start self-therapy by opening up to the surrounding environment became the hardest decision. He continued to eat blueberry pancakes little by little with slow movements and hid his left hand on his lap, whereas all night he had looked at the beautiful ring given by Elgio until drowsiness defeated him.

Marya would never forget that morning when she sat so nervously beside Elgio as she pierced the pancakes with a fork while her mind kept screaming in panic, "Please don't ask me ... please don't look at me!"

Too bad.

"So you've been living in Maribel's house all this time?"

Abner's baritone voice asked from across the table showing a displeased look of the face for many reasons. Most likely, he felt that he had been defeated about the existence of Marya so far, especially Elgio won a bet even though the 'gift' for the winner could not be taken. Both Abner and Reinha behaved similarly, abandoning blueberry pancakes and watching Marya with astounding enthusiasm. Both of them made Mary uncomfortable.

"Ehm," Marya quietly muttered. He pushed the empty breakfast plate, eaten to the toilet due to nervousness while the other plate owner was not touched at all.

Marya's palms were sweaty and her tongue turned dry, as if there was a lump of cotton in her mouth that sucked out her saliva. Marya wanted to sneak down under the table when all eyes full of inquiry were on her. Elgio noticed Marya's reaction to immediately grabbing the anxious girl's left hand, clutching her full support until Marya spoke up.

"Um, I .. um, actually, um. Ii'm sorry. I didn't mean ...."

The last part of the sentence disappeared leaving a not so clear sound. Marya's answer further added to the curiosity. They were clearly glaring at him now.

Marya hoped to speak eloquently and unambiguously so that they would immediately turn to Elgio, who was sitting next to her in a calm manner. However, the two people across the table were just curious about him. Marya took a deep breath to adjust the intonation so as not to sound dull.

"I know, this may sound strange to you guys .. I've been living in Aunt Mai's house - I mean Aunt Maribel since my father passed away" Marya replied.

He did not dare to raise his face but did not fear, only felt strange because this was the first time he sat down to breakfast with a group of people. Maribel could not bear to see Marya fidgeting accidentally joined in the dining room while holding the chest that was painful. He stood behind Marya's bench preparing to be a shield. Abner clucked and stared intently at Maribel. The text reads "you came too".

Abner said in a cold tone, "Ironically, I have been deceived by this house Assistant! Own house, babysitter. It's some kind of conspiracy!"

"Mr Abner! You're exaggerating!" Maribel was cornered and unintentionally screeched. "In reality, you don't want Young Master to actually find Miss, so that Young Master can study abroad."

Maribel's small temper took everyone by surprise. Abner can't believe Maribel just rebuked. He stared at the young woman.

"At least, you should tell me. I might be able to give him the best possible upbringing" Abner said in self-defense.

"Alright, I'm sorry about those parenting points. If I tell you, will the results be different? Are you going to tell the Young Master about Miss's whereabouts and let them meet?"

Abner was stunned by the counterattack following the millions of blackened vocabulary in the sky his head left only two words "Rightly Caribel". Abner will cover up Marya's whereabouts to keep Elgio sane. Just look at it this week, Elgio's suddenly weird.

"You're right" Abner relented.

"So, you met when Marya was the same age as me. Your name Aruhi? It's such a great coincidence, we were gathered in a room for the loss of a parent."

Reinha chopped up the blueberry pancakes hard, until the clanking of the tableware clashed forcing everyone to turn to her. He asked a lot of questions last night, but only one of them was, "Your name is Aruhi?".

Marya admired Reinha Durante's fortitude. How the girl grew strong without being disturbed by the darkness of the past. It is like a forest orchid from the stratovolcano mountains on the edge of the Flores mainland, growing sticky on hard rocks but they are beautiful among weeds.

"Elgio .. You look agitated! Do you want to run away and be alone with Marya?"

Abner is really creative in thinking and speaking. Elgio glared at the guard, annoyed.

"Oh, you are!"

Abner ignored Elgio and seriously talked to Marya.

"I know you may not be satisfied to give up longing. But can you stop clutching each other at the table and move as usual? Your boyfriend has a bunch of files to learn. You can play with Reinha."

Marya was jolted by the reprimand then immediately stood up until her stool crackled. Elgio's grip was released and the beautiful diamond ring stunned Abner.

"Sorry Mr. Abner, I also have to go to work immediately." Marya bowed a little, apologizing.

"Working?" Elgio looked up at Marya, "Where? You're not going anywhere today and beyond!"

"Oh No, Marya," Aunt Maribel joined the conversation leading up to the feud. "Young No-na," she said. "Madam Niels has allowed you this day off to help me."

"Bi-bi Mai's. Call me Marya!"

"Well, you'll be with me in the kitchen all day."

"played? Are we the son of TK? I also have to go to work. I'm not going to go to a silly dinner while the betrothed has married my classmate."

Reinha stood up and filled her mouth. He was getting annoyed when his lips were accidentally touched lap.

"Hey ... Enya. Where do you work?" Elgio again asked in wonder, this time to Reinha.

"I studied business management at a small company in town, Kak. Instead of bringing in teachers and learning theory, I better learn firsthand. I'll be on the branding or networking team. At least I'm not sleepy by numbers and maybe formulas."

"Don't forget your martial arts class later!"

"Of course, Brother. I love you."

Reinha left followed by the bodyguards as Marya followed behind Aunt Mai to the kitchen. Remaining Abner investigates Elgio who is busy turning the ring on his ring finger while Elgio's gaze can not be separated from Marya's long-lost shadow.

"You're gonna let Aruhi see her mother tonight?"
