One day after Farhan's death. Gus Farid invites Amira to chat on the front porch of the house. 

Today, Gus Farid and his extended family are still in Amira's house near the mosque. They have not returned home due to a pending marriage yesterday. 

"What do you want to say, Gus?" tanya Amira looked at Gus Farid nearby. 

"Amira, I've been talking to Umi Zahra. And he has agreed to my wish" said Gus Farid.

"Your wishes? What is your wish?" ask Amira. 

"Before that I want to apologize Amira, if I say this will be a little disappointing for you."

"What do you want to say, Gus? just talk to Gus clearly?"

"One week ago, Laila came to me. And he asked me to foil our marriage. But I didn't want to derail it because it was my grandfather's last will. But after I think about it, we shouldn't be selfish Amira."

"You mean?"

"It seems, Laila hasn't wanted a father in her life. And I cannot marry a woman whose only son does not want me to be his father. And if we continue this marriage, Laila and I will definitely be uncomfortable with Amira."

"Continue saying?"

Amira was shocked when she heard Gus Farid.

"I hope you will follow my mother Umi Zahra.Ning Husna does not want a new father in her life. And until now my Umi never had any ambition to marry again. He has always been faithful to Abah and her children."

Amira breathed deeply. 

"I know Gus. It wasn't Laila who was selfish. But I have a big ambition to get married again. Me and my two parents who were selfish for not thinking about Laila's feelings.  I shouldn't have rushed. Because Laila still needs my attention.  And I don't want to torture Laila's mind. He just lost a father."

Amira was momentarily silent. He then breathed deeply. 

"I prefer Laila Gus. Looks like we haven't been fooled yet." 

"Yesterday, Laila said that there was a man waiting for you, and he loved you very much. And Laila agrees you're with her. Why don't you just consider accepting the man?" 

"Who's Gus? Mr Dion?"

"Kok Dion anyway? you forgot about Mas Galih. Have you forgotten her sacrifice."

"But I've rejected Gus. I can't possibly accept it. Shame Gus."

"Try Amira. Who knows, there will be happiness for you and Laila if you accept Galih." 

"I'll think again of Gus, to accept Mas Galih."

"I think only Galih is a man who truly loves your son Laila. I can't really love Laila like Galih and Farhan love her." 

"Gus, what about your heart."

Gus Farid smiled. 

"You ask my heart? honestly, I don't have a taste for you yet. But thanks to you, I can already forget my past love." 

"Actually I was quite disappointed Gus, with your decision. Because I've started loving you. But, I don't seem to want to be selfish anymore, Gus now. Laila's my only daughter, she's already an orphan. And I don't want to lose Laila."

"Tomorrow I will go back to the boarding school with Umi Zahra, Ning Husna and my extended family. I hope you accept my decision.  Don't be Amira's selfish mother. Think again of your daughter Laila's happiness. She was already the victim of a divorce from her parents, and now she has lost her father. Are you willing to sacrifice Laila's heart again."

"Yes Gus. Thank you, Gus, all this time you've wanted to be my friend. From you, I have learned a lot.  Although you are young, but your thinking is very mature Gus. May you get a good soul mate Gus."

"Yes Amira. I will always wish you and Laila all the best."

After her father's death, Laila was more silent.  After fainting for a long time, Laila seemed to have no spirit of life anymore. She had been locked up in her room since yesterday. 

He seemed to have lost a father figure who had been very kind to him all along. 

There were many memories of Laila with Farhan before Farhan's departure. Because before Farhan left, Farhan had left many beautiful memories for his son. 

"Laila, you don't want to eat? from yesterday you have not eaten. Now we eat yuk? Aunt Novi, grandma, grandpa, is in the dining room now. He's waiting for you, son."

"If Umi wants to find happiness with Gus Farid. Laila has revealed that Umi has joined Umi's new husband. Please Umi marry Gus and come with Gus. Please Umi happy with Gus. But Laila wants to go with Pade. Laila wants to stay at Aminah's grandmother's house. Because they're the only ones who make Laila feel comfortable."

"But Umi did not want to marry Gus Laila."

"But Umi. What about Umi's marriage to Gus that was delayed?" 

"Gus and Umi agree to thwart him. And apparently, Gus hasn't been able to love Umi either."

"If Umi does not want to marry Gus again, then what do Umi want now?" 

"Yes Umi would like to reconsider your wishes?" 

"What wish?"

After that Laila looked at her mother.

Laila then hugged Uminya tightly. 

I sincerely release Gus Farid from my heart. But I'm not sincere, the only child I have goes from my life and hates me, inner Amira.
