Hugging Longs
Chapters. 39
The doorbell rings repeatedly. Bi Inah hurriedly walked towards the door. Open the door for guests in the middle of the night.
“Who the hell, Bi?” Mayang asked from the living room as soon as he saw Bi Inah coming back from the front. He who was watching television was shocked by the sound of the doorbell.
“A-anu, New. That, in-front there ..” Bi Inah stuttered as her eyeballs rotated restlessly. As if he was worried about something.
“What's up?”
“That, Mr. Danny ... Mr. Danny ..”
“Danny drunk again?”
Bi Inah nodded in fret. The middle-aged woman was again about to say something when a man's voice came from behind her back.
“Goodnight.”
Surprised, that expression was seen on Mayang's face when he heard the greeting from his guest tonight. Mayang who was sitting on the sofa immediately stood up in panic.
“Hi-Hilman?” muttered Mayang with bulging eyes.
Hilman, the middle-aged man was standing across with a faint smile spreading across his face. Fixing his glasses, he said.
“What's up, Miss Mayang. Long time no see.”
Mayang clearly looks panicked. “Se-what are you doing here?”
“I only helped deliver Bu Mayang's son. He's drunk hard. I'm just worried that he's coming home drunk. For that I helped drive him home.”
From the front came the security guard while packing Danny who was in a state of heavy drunk. Danny's situation looks messed up. Danny's messing with it's not sure. Among her raccoons was the name Sara.
Mayang's face was flushed with anger. Among the many people on this earth, why should Hilman help him. Mayang was upset, only able to clench his fists tightly behind his back.
“Thank you for driving Danny home. Now home. It's late at night,” said Mayang with a dislike face. Yeah, he really doesn't like meeting that guy.
“Good. Sorry if my arrival has disrupted the comfort of Ms. Mayang. Then excuse me.” Hilman hurried out of the house. Leaving Mayang with all her tension and panic. Hilman could only smile at the mansion before driving his car out of the yard of the Dharmendra family home.
....
Opening the room door, Mayang found the son lying on the bed. Mayang then approached. He helped Danny take off his shoes.
“Sara ..” Danny called Sara's name. His eyes were closed, his condition was chaotic.
With an upset face, Mayang then sat himself on the edge of the bed. He doesn't like to hear Danny still calling Sara. A woman who is clearly the destroyer of her future. The woman who will be his threat later in life.
There's one secret Danny doesn't know. And Danny can't know until anytime.
However, the emergence of Hilman presents a new unrest for Mayang. Hilman is a new threat to him. Though Mayang has made every effort to make Hilman stay away from his family. But that one man seemed to not heed his threat long ago. Forcing Mayang must rack his brain again to get rid of the former Jayadi trust lawyer.
Maybe later, Mayang will think about it. Because the night was late, Mayang was about to return to his room. He had just stood up, just a step of his feet walking when suddenly the sound of Danny's chatter sounded.
“Who is Sara, Ma. Is it true that she is my younger sister?”
Mayang was surprised, stopped his steps, then looked back. He saw Danny sitting on the edge of the bed. His appearance did look chaotic, but perhaps not with his consciousness.
It was only a while ago that Danny looked drunk. Even to walk to his room he had to be assisted by security guards. Then why doesn't Danny look like a drunk man?
Swallowing his saliva chelate, Mayang then twisted his body. The question that Danny had asked before was honestly Mayang was hesitant about the answer he gave. He doubted if Danny could take the reason for it.
“Mama has told you about this before. My mother's answer will remain the same. Your papa is crazy. Does it seem who is more dear to your father? Papa you kept this a secret from the religious court. If they had known, the court would not have approved an inbreeding. For that, Mama asks you, divorce Sara now.”
“But why do I feel Mama is lying.”
“As far as you believe or not.” Mayang misbehaved. He quickly avoided Danny's gaze. He already thought that Danny wasn't easy to lie to. Moreover, the answer he gave was completely illogical. But, the bodo. Most importantly, he managed to separate Danny from Sara.
Danny's been lying back down after burping a few times. The opportunity was used Mayang to quickly leave Danny's room.
While Danny, looking at the departure of his mother with a pias face. Although he was drunk, but he can still remember Hilman's words when his late father's confidant drove him home.
“You and Sara aren't sisters. Mr. Jayadi loves you both very much. That's why he's setting you up. About why Mr. Jayadi made Sara his rightful heir, there's a reason you don't know.”
Still ringing in Danny's ear Hilman's speech. He did not respond at that time. He who is actually not in a state of heavy drunkenness was just listening without giving any response. He let Hilman tell a lot.
Danny breathed heavily. Staring at the ceiling of the room, without feeling a drop of tears fell from the corner of his eyes. In her eyes was still playing with Sara's shadow. The shadows as they make out, but fail to have Sara in their entirety.
And now, they are faced with a confusing, but painful situation. Her mother lied to her. With the presence of Hilman, his curiosity began to piqued.
....
The morning sun was warm. This half Arga looks restless, pacing in the kitchen of his house. Bi Darmi who saw it became astonished.
“Goodoo Oma early this morning why pacing in the kitchen anyway? Like ironing you,” chirped Oma Widya with a smile, coming from the front.
“Already from earlier, His, Den Arga like that. Is Den Arga worried about something?” asked Bi Darmi while putting a bowl filled with hot soup on the dining table.
“Tau aja, Bi.”
“So worried about what the hell? Story dong to Oma,” says Oma Widya.
“Emm ..” Arga looks nervous. He rubbed his neck repeatedly.
“Bby Oma guess?”
Arga looks shy too. He was ashamed to express his intentions directly. He hoped that the Oma would understand his behavior. Even though just last night he expressed his wish to the Oma by phone.
“It must be about Sara right?”
Arga was embarrassed. His heart was pounding. Honestly, just this time Arga felt strange vibrations like this. Almost every day he met a lot of beautiful women. But what made her nervous even to the point of pounding like this was only Sara. Staring into Sara's eyes always hypnotized her.
“I ... I want to marry Sara, Oma. Imminent. You know, right?” Arga had a tense face but was also nervous. Really he really hopes, this dream will be realized soon.
“Oh, of course Oma understands, dear. Oma very, very understand your point. So, you want when. Now, tomorrow, or the day after? Oma will help you prepare everything.” With a cramped face, Oma Widya approached Arga.
“But, can we prepare everything in a short time?”
Puffing out her chest, Oma Widya patted that chest proudly. “Moreover the same Oma. Everything must be in order. Oma is experienced in this.”
“Really? Tomorrow, how about?”
“Tomorrow? Wow, wow, apparently Oma's granddaughter is already married? Oma could have held your wedding today as well. But, have you talked about this with Sa_” Longevity. Just now Oma Widya wanted to mention the name of Sara, the woman was already standing across with a face that was inversely proportional to Arga. If Arga looks happy, not so with Sara. His face was gloomy and not glowing.
