Hugging Longs
Chapters. 7
Two months passed after Danny woke up from a coma. You can imagine how difficult it is for a Danny to live his days without Sara. How lonely Danny lives without Sara's shadow. There was nothing else he could command as he pleased, understanding what he wanted, obeying his wishes, preparing all his needs, even he was as good as his eyes.
Without Sara Danny's life feels hollow. Like a night without stars. The emptiness was increasingly felt when accidentally the shadow of Sara came to disturb him. Danny felt lost, but repeatedly he denied that feeling.
“Breakfast first, Dan.” There was a sound of Mayang calling as Danny sauntered towards the front of the house.
The routine Danny has been following for the past two months is no longer the same as it was before the accident. A responsibility required him to work hard to manage and develop the Venus Hotel, continuing the hard work of his late father.
According to his mother's words, Danny turned around, stepping towards the dining table. He took a chair for him to sit on. Taking a piece of bread, he then applied chocolate jam to the bread.
But suddenly he was silent. Nailing a glance at the bread he had smeared the jam without blinking. A piece of past memories suddenly crossed his mind. Still vividly reflected in his eyes those memories. Memories with Sara at breakfast one morning ago.
“This, eat.” Sara tossed a plate containing fresh bread that had been smeared jam in front of Danny who was cool playing games on his cellphone.
“You don't see what I'm doing?” danny told me not to distract the slightest attention from the phone screen.
Sara who understood, without waiting for the order, took the bread and put it in Danny's mouth. It was like feeding a child.
“If this continues, I doubt if you can live without me,” Sara said as she wiped the corner of Danny's lips using a tissue.
“Of course you can. As long as I find someone obedient like you.”
Danny's words were like a fresh breeze blowing, soothing his heart, tickling his innermost heart. Sara smiled at him. His face was even red.
“Do not misunderstand. I mean somebody else, not you. You're not my type.” Like knowing the reaction of Sara who heard his words, Danny was quick to blow Sara's hope. So that smile that had just risen on Sara's face, set itself.
That piece of memory made Danny's chest feel tight. She could not live without Sara. But he still denied. Just because Sara's not the ideal type of woman.
“Oh yes, Danny. What is your relationship with Tania? Mama see, lately Tania visits you more often in the office.” Mayang's voice broke Danny's daydream.
Danny didn't answer Mayang's question. He chose to eat his bread slowly.
“Do you guys not have to get married? Didn't you guys date him long ago huh?” continue Mayang while feeding his mouth with a spoonful of fried rice.
“I haven't thought of it yet, Ma. I want to focus on working first. I'm not ready for that yet,” said Danny in the end. After separating from Sara, he did not have the desire to return home. Even with Tania, her lover. Sara's shadow and memories that always overshadowed her, making her unsettled. Which made him confused to interpret his feelings.
“Why not ready? You guys were in a long relationship, even before you got married to Sara. And now you are free. You don't have any more ties to Sara. So, why are you still delaying time? Don't you love each other? What are you waiting for, Danny. Get married to Tania. Do not let you go first with other men. Later you regret loh.”
Talking about marriage, making Danny's appetite evaporate out of nowhere. No more taste, he put the piece of bread back on his plate. Then he got up from his seat, hurried he left the dining table.
“Loh, Dan? Danny's? Finish your breakfast, baby.” Mayang called, astonished by the change in attitude Danny showed now.
“What's with the kid? His attitude has changed lately. Does he not like me to mention Sara?” muttered Mayang astonished also confused.

“Be careful on the road yes, Sara,” said Oma Widya as she waved her hand, accompanying Sara's departure to her workplace which was only a short distance away from the contract they lived in. So that it can be reached only by foot.
A smile full of joy was engraved on the face of Oma Widya. Not only happy, he was even very grateful to be reunited with Sara. Sweet girl who is sincere hearted, help her selflessly.
Seeing Sara's persistence in scavenging the windfall, took pains to support herself, even sincerely helping her despite herself's hardships. Dropping his sympathy, as well as his interest in the girl.
It was rare to see a young girl like Sara. Who selflessly helps people in distress.
Taking a deep breath, Oma Widya turned her body about to enter the house. Just a step away his legs swung, suddenly his two unknown people blocked his arm strongly. Prevent him from entering the house.
“Who are you?” Panicked, Oma Widya looked tense. The two burly men dragged him out of the fence, towards a black Alphard parked across the street.
Oma Widya thrashed, asking to be released. But the two men who were filled with tattoos on both of his arm muscles paid no heed. Keep dragging him, until it stops at Alphard's side.
“Release. You are so insolent, treating your parents so impolitely like this. I'll report you to the police. What good is it to kidnap an old man who already stinks of land like me?”Oma Widya grumbled while trying to break free from the two men. Roughly jerking both of his arms, until it finally came apart.
“Please work well together, Grandma. The advantage of kidnapping grandma for us is that we'll be paid triple. We've been looking for you for months, Grandma. Very good old granny like you is hiding,” reply one of the men.
“Let me go. Where are you taking me, damn?”
“We'll take you home, Nek.”
One of the burly men with long hair opened the car door.
“Come, up.” her word.
“That's polite to parents huh? I'm throwing you guys at the police so you're punished.”
“Come in, Grandma. Let us get our rights. Triple pay.”
“Basic with you.” Oma Widya still refused to get into the car.
“We're a paid delinquent, Grandma. If Grandma doesn't comply, then we'll have to be rude to you, Nek.”
Oma Widya was also scared. He doesn't reply anymore. Then he willingly rushed up. The car door was then closed.
“Beres, Boss!” exclaimed the gondrong patted the car body.
“We are waiting for the transfer yes, Boss?” she smiled happily. He left the place with his partner.
In the car, Oma Widya is struck by a familiar voice with her scathing speech, which irritates her. Then put on his sour face for a moment.
“Where else did you run to, old lady? Please don't trouble me anymore. I've had enough trouble lately because of you.” A beautiful man also looks no less upset with the actions of Oma Widya. Sitting on my feet and leaning on my back in the front seat, the man looked at me at a glance.
“We go home now old lady. Road, sir,” his word to the private driver.
