Chapter 31: Show Your Skills

[Zoth's Manor]

At the entrance of the Earl's Manor gate, Kaido loudly declared that it was his turn to make a move.

Seeing this the knights and mages employed by the previous Earl blocked his path and among them Carl the Earl's son walked in front of them and calmly mocked Kaido.

"You're brave enough to barge in like that! Aren't you afraid we might accuse you of such disrespectful acts?" Shouted Carl arrogantly

Hearing this Kaido laughed mockingly

"Hehehehehahaha !!! Whahuh? You think you can hold me back from destroying your pitiful nest? Don't make me laugh" Kaido said mockingly

With this Carl turned into an annoyed expression

"You're really naive! You think destroying us is justice? You have to really think about yourself .... But let me tell you something .... Your justice is nothing! As long as there is desire, greed in every human being will trigger to do such things! " Said Carl

Hearing Justice Kaido's words gave him a stern look

"You think I'm doing this for justice for the oppressed? I do this only to my own satisfaction! I don't need weak people to follow me ... Seeing this Carl had a serious expression on his face as veins appeared to show his annoyance

Seeing this Kaido tried to manipulate his sword but his eyes suddenly widened

Using his reflexes Kaido clamped the sword between his knees and knees to stop the sword from reaching him

With a series of spells, Kaido was stunned and suddenly he was overwhelmed by a series of explosions

The moment the attack occurred, a large amount of energy from within made them disperse and it showed Kaido covering himself with the pure lightning element.

With a step Kaido suddenly appeared in front of the mages as he dealt a punch to the mage with a three-punch combo.

"Geez!"

As the witches were thrown out and fell to the ground, the knight attacked Kaido

Realizing the blue lightning in his palm Kaido slammed it into the ground below creating a lightning explosion

[Underground Prison]

With the ceilings and ground continuously being dismantled, Sui suddenly opened her eyes in anticipation as she exclaimed

Hearing this Zia couldn't even imagine how brave that fellow was to suddenly attack the Earl at this moment

"Please be careful" pinta Zia

He prayed for the safety of the assailant because he knew the truth behind the Earl's power

As several knights and mages lay on the floor, Kaido controlled all of the knights' weapons and swords that went other than Kaido, at the same time they were suddenly directed towards them making their facial expressions turn extremely gloomy.

With a flick of a finger all the swords attacked the knights and witches killed some of them while crippling most of them.

As the army and the magician descend, Carl suddenly appears behind Kaido and swings his sword

Seeing this Carl gave him no chance and immediately ran forward and swung his sword using a different sword attack

Kaido tried his hardest to dodge all of his attacks by performing many maneuvers

As the kaido slid backwards, Carl's sword was about to reach him again but suddenly several swords piled on top of each other to block Carl's attack.

"What!?" Exclaim Carl

With a swing of Kaido's hand, all the swords attacked Carl nonstop

Carl does his best to block some attacks while fending off others and that lasts long enough to make Kaido quite distracted.

"This guy! He really mastered Sword Science! She's great! But unfortunately you have to die" Kaido thought

While retreating Kaido controlled one of the swords to aim at his feet

Realizing this, Carl quickly jumped in surprise but when he was about to land some swords was already eyeing the place a little faster than him.

"No way! He's counting my next steps and location?" He thinks

With a light tap on the ground, he dodged the attack by tapping his toes and pushing him to jump, seeing him dodge it, he exhaled

But Kaido suddenly smiled and muttered

"Because of you"

With Carl's slight mistake the four swords suddenly pierced his back making him stand on the spot and spew blood

"Impossible! How do you predict it so far?" He mumbled weakly

Though weak Kaido heard it clearly and while combing his hair up and smiling wickedly, he said

"What's? You are too predictable! So how does it feel?" Kaido is ridiculed

"You think you said you'd torture me first before killing me?" Carl said weakly

"Huh? After seeing this I changed my mind and you really deserve to be killed!"

The moment he said that five more than twenty swords pierced through Carl's body made him look like a mannequin puppet pierced with many swords.

As Carl's vision darkened, he gritted his teeth and muttered his last words

"Your monster!"

And it immediately fell onto the lifeless ground

All the surviving witches and knights were shocked to see Carl just got killed by anyone, for them Carl was the best among them but now he was easily killed by the person who had monster-like strength with him.

There is no intention of staying any longer Kaido enters the manor only to be greeted by Charl, Carl's mother

He glared at Kaido with sadness in his eyes as he looked behind him and saw his son being stabbed just like that.

"You! You'll pay for it!" Raung Charl as he beckoned his two butler heads to attack Kaido

"As expected, typical tropes" muttered Kaido
