Chapter 41: The Feeding Banquet
[Kingdom of Ingra, Hall of Banquet]
Inside the magnificent hall were many nobles and vassals from different regions of perspective
Food was served in an orderly manner while the nobles wore different elegant clothes
Some nobles brought their families who were mostly in the capital while for some nobles who were not from the capital, they could only present themselves or their sons who joined them.
As the night passed, Reinbach and Kaido entered the hall where they were ignored by the other nobles
Reinbach wore an elegant tailor suite with white gloves that could be seen at old-fashioned European parties, as for Kaido she wears a tuxedo with black slacking which is clearly different from the usual noble dress.
As Reinbach and Kaido approached the king, Reinbach knelt down to pay his respects while Kaido only bowed gracefully.
The prince no longer urged the matter of Kaido as this was a party not a place of battle so no commotion had occurred in that remark.
As Reinbach and King Simon talk to each other, the princess approaches Kaido
"You must be Kaido, I guess! Far from home, right?" Ask princess Ingrid
As Kaido glanced at princess Ingrid, he saw that the princess was wearing a purple dress with her silver hair tied gracefully that could get the hearts of many young men except Kaido.
"You must be a famous royal princess!" Answer Kaido
Hearing her calm demeanor, the princess was shocked because this was the first time she had experienced someone who was not enchanted by her beauty.
"Your Kaido-sama is quite interesting! You came from a city that much later became someone known in the Port City of Screa and now you are here as a companion of Reinbach-sama!" Said the princess
"ah! I'm seeing you do your research!" Answer Kaido
With this princess Ingrid began to talk more

"So you expect me to come after you? For what reason? ... I know courtship is normal and all but whoever you choose in your life will always come from your decisions! No one can choose for you! your Life is natural if you become the one who chooses who you want to spend your life with! " Said Kaido calmly as he stared at the empty cup
Hearing her advice, princess Ingrid began to wonder about something
"You give advice as if you yourself had ever chosen someone to spend your life with! May I know who this special person is?" Ask princess Ingrid
With his words, Kaido's memories from his past love life began to emerge from the depths of his sealed emotions which made his heart a little sick from remembering them.

Kaido clearly remembered the words of the goddess from the first day he arrived in this world and somehow he had so many questions for her that he accepted the suggestion.
"All right! I will accept your offer" Kaido said
As they spoke the music started to sound so princess Ingrid asked Kaido
"In addition how about I ask kaido-sama to dance?" Said princess Ingrid with a smile
Feeling like being challenged Kaido smiled wryly
"All right, fucking princess! I will show you how I dance well" Kaido said arrogantly
Seeing Kaido and the princess dancing caught the attention of everyone in the hall

As for the king and Reinbach, the latter himself was surprised to see Kaido actually managed to get close to princess I who was targeted by many nobles while for the king he was glad his daughter actually joined the party for the first time. and really enjoy it
