I Inherited Fishing Bins in Canada

I Inherited Fishing Bins in Canada
Episode 13's

After regaining consciousness, Shane Casson did not feel so tired.

Shane Casson was very tired the last time he cultivated coral polyps, but that experience seems to have strengthened his mental strength. He guessed his mental capacity could be trained and stronger with practice.

Since there is nothing to do at night, Shane Casson decides to go out and get a taste of the nightlife.

However, he did not expect nightlife in Canada to be so boring, especially in a small town like Gander that was economically undeveloped.

It was just around 8 p.m., and almost every household in Gander had already closed its doors. Shane Casson drove around before finally finding a bar that was still open.

The bar is called "Shining Stars". When he parked his car and went inside, he found the bar deserted. The bar has an area of more than 400 square meters, only about twenty people scattered around are seen drinking. Only four or five young people were playing and dancing in the middle of the dance floor.

The people in the bar all knew each other. Gander is a small town with a small population so everyone should get to know each other.

As Shane Casson wiggled along with the loud music and tasted the white wine he had filled with ice, he felt life was very good.

At that moment, a large man stumbled and sat down at the bar.

Shane Casson shifted himself a little. The large man was about 1.9 meters in height, with broad shoulders and a strong body like a mountain. His chin and jaw were overgrown with a thick beard like steel spines, and he looked like a wall when sitting at the bar.

Newfoundland was located far to the north, and the weather on the evening of April was very cold, but this big man was only wearing a denim shirt with his chest wide open. Her breast hair was like weeds that had been fertilized, dense and incomparable, and her muscular chest was enormous, like two melons wrapped in her box.

In simple terms, this huge man exuded a violent aura from all over his body, and he looked more like a human-looking bull than anything else.

Shane Casson feels that this guy may be a thug and he doesn't want to get into trouble with him. Although he felt stronger and faster since joining the Heart of Poseidon, he still lacked the confidence to win the fight against such a ruthless man.

However, this large-bodied man had a fragile inner world despite having strong physical strength. After a few drinks, he scratched his head anxiously and muttered, "Now I can't even raise enough money for Elise's school fees. This world is a mess. Damn fishing area, I didn't manage to catch fish for a week, and every time I went out to sea, I couldn't even make enough money to pay for gasoline! Damn, I don't know what to do!"

Then, the big-bodied man leaned against the table in the corner of the bar and collapsed on it.

Shane Casson finally felt relieved and asked the bartender, "Who is this guy? What's up?"

The bartender sighed and said, "He is Shark, the best catcher and fisherman in Gander. When he was young, he caught a tiger shark on board. But now the fishing industry is starting to get gloomy, and the economy is going through a meltdown, so he can't make money by going to sea. He's been having trouble lately."

"Why doesn't he go to work?" shane Casson asked curiously.

The bartender replied, "Because her daughter, Elise, is unwell, she has to stay at home to take care of her."

Shane Casson rubbed his unshaved beard and asked Neil, "His name is Shark, right?"

After receiving a positive response, he left the bar and called Auerbach, asking, "Old man, do you know a man named Shark? What's he like? I think I need help now."

Shark has a good appearance, but Shane Casson needs to know about his temperament and personality, so he needs to ask Auerbach.

"The shark? He was a good person, and although he was easily ignited and stubborn, he was a reliable person... But, do you need to hire someone in a hurry like this? I suggest you wait a little. Your fisheries are not stable yet" Auerbach suggested.

...

After hearing about the job opportunity, Shark suddenly lifted his head like a lion waking up from sleep, making Shane Casson's heart jump.

"Well, if I hire this guy as a fisherman for a fishery, I can save on bodyguard fees," Shane Casson thought.

"You?" Shark looked at Shane Casson suspiciously.

Shane Casson sat down and said, "As you know, I inherited this fishing spot, which closed ten years ago. I want to bring it back to life, and of course, I need help."

After hearing his words, Shark sighed and expressed his concern: "Master, you don't know that setting up a fishery isn't that easy. And to be honest, I have to tell you that there may not be any more fish in your fishery."

From this conversation, Shane Casson could deduce that Shark was a good person and not try to trick him for his own benefit. In addition, she appears to have some skills, though different from Shane's ability to sense the condition of fishery resources through the Heart of Poseidon.

Shane said, "No problem, man. I was determined to restore my grandfather's fishing grounds to the scintillating place they once were. If we need a boat, we'll buy it. If we need people, we'll hire people. If we need fish, we will buy and cultivate fish seeds!"

He had the Heart of Poseidon, a secret key in his pocket. If he could not even start a fishing ground, it was better for him to jump straight into the sea and commit suicide.

"But this requires a lot of money" Shark said honestly.

Shane hit the table and said, "Money is no problem! Tonight, I'll pay for your drink, and order whatever you want!"

Seeing how confident Shane Casson was, Shark's eyes lit up. The bartender carried a black beer barrel and said, "Shark, you're lucky today."

Shane Casson asked the muscular Shark, "Is this your favorite beer?"

Shark smiled and replied, "This is the most suitable."

Shane Casson hit the table again and said to the bartender, "Bring the best beer!"

He does not burn money recklessly or try to act foolishly. Because he started his business quickly, and Shark was his first major recruit. He had to stabilize the mind of this ferocious general, so he had to show his financial strength.

In Indonesia, it is usually considered impolite to talk about business while drinking, but Shane Casson and Shark do the opposite. They agreed on Shark's salary, a weekly salary of 2,000 Canadian dollars and a year-end bonus based on the development of fishery land.

The salary offered by Shane Casson to Shark is quite reasonable, with a weekly salary of 2,000 Canadian dollars, which is equivalent to 8,000 dollars per month, which is almost the same as the salary of a janitor. Canada is quite unique in that the salaries of janitors are relatively high, as they are members of the "Municipal Workers Union" along with librarians and local government service personnel, and have great advantages. A senior janitor's hourly salary is about 30 Canadian dollars, with an annual salary of about 120,000 Canadian dollars.

Compared to that, the monthly salary of an ordinary office worker in Canada's first major city was only about 3,000 to 4,000 dollars, and the salary of a manual laborer was about the same. However, the salaries of fishermen, miners, and other hazardous occupations can be higher due to the dangerous nature of the job.

The economy in Gander is currently sluggish, with most fishing waters employing fishermen offering a monthly maximum salary of 5,000 dollars. Offering such a high salary, Shane Casson was playing with fire.

After agreeing on the salary, Shane Casson asked Shark to provide some tips on fisheries management. Shark told me excitedly over a beer, but Shane should pay more attention. He could not resist the influence of alcohol and ended up fainting on the table.
