I'm Loyal, I swear!!

I'm Loyal, I swear!!
not farewell

"Vani's mother's family" called the sisters after the operation door opened.

Yudha and Jovan were not very aware as they were busy with the debate. And they both turned their heads as the nurse called.

"I, sus" said Jovan.

"I, sus" said Yudha.

The nurse looked confusedly at the two.

"I'm her husband" Jovan said.

Yudha was silent, always losing to that obnoxious status.

"The doctor called the father" the nurse told him.

"May I come, sus?" ask Yudha.

"Please" answered the nurse.

Now it was Jovan's turn to look back, Yudha was too involved.

Yes, although Jovan has accepted that Yudha is the biological father of her twins, Jovan is determined to give them the same affection.

"Doctor called me?" jovan asked after he reached the doctor's office.

"Yes sir, there is a little problem" the doctor replied.

The doctor nodded slowly at Yudha. They had already met before. And it makes Jovan feel bad again.

"So, because the father's baby was forced to be born prematurely. Causing her weight is very below average, and therefore they should be treated in the NICU for the next few weeks" said the doctor who is still not finished with the explanation.

"Then doc?" ask Jovan.

"And what we were surprised by was, suddenly one of them had heart failure just before the operation. This caused his heart to have a slight problem. And we suggest taking him to a major hospital in the capital to get more intensive medical care".

"Although this hospital is the largest in this Cold city, but our equipment is still not qualified to handle cases like the one Mr. Jovan's son experienced" said the doctor.

Jovan's shoulder immediately slumped sharply, he did not expect that there were so many problems with this child.

While Yudha was certainly feeling very sad, her son was between life and death.

"So, when should I take her to another hospital, doc?" ask Jovan.

"Quickly if you can, sir. I was worried that there would be an impromptu heart attack. But, now he is still in a relatively normal state after we handled it earlier" said the doctor.

"What about the other babies, Doc?" ask Jovan.

"His return was in good health, only his weight was too small to be removed from the NICU. Maybe in the next few weeks, if his weight is normal can be taken home immediately" explained the doctor gave a little relief in the hearts of the two fathers.

"Lantas, how's my wife doing doc?" ask Jovan again.

Yudha looked at her attentively, there was a plan in her brain to save one of her children.

"Bu Vani is still in treatment, but so far he is in good condition. Hopefully we can recover quickly if we comply with the instructions from us" replied the doctor.

"All right, thank you doctor. I'll talk to my wife later, when it's best to take one of our children to a hospital in a big city" Jovan said.

"Yes, sir. It's best to move immediately sir, because the longer I'm afraid that the condition will get worse" said the doctor.

"Yes doc. Thank you, excuse me" said Jovan, standing up, and immediately exited the room after shaking hands with the doctor.

"Hey, Jovan" called Yudha who was still following Jovan.

Hearing his name being called, Jovan turned his head despite feeling lazy.

"What's? You didn't know I was confused? Don't bother me" said Jovan slightly pushing Yudha's body away.

"Based on a rancid boy, listen to me fucking" said Yudha who got treated like that.

Like a brother who is being treated badly by his sister who is sulking.

"Let me take my sick son to the big city hospital, and I promise you, I won't bother your family again if you let me take him" Yudha said, she wants to raise her son. It's okay even if you can only bring one of them.

"No need, I'll take care of it myself. You take care of your very busy and important business" said Jovan, as a man he would not accept if Yudha considered him incapable of taking care of her babies.

"Cg, don't be selfish, don't think of yourself" Yudha said softly, trying to give understanding to the boy before her.

"Think Vani, he's still weak. He needs a lot of help from you to do his thing".

"Think of one of those kids weighing less, he'll also have to be admitted to the NICU room for the next few weeks. It's not cheap, Jovan".

"And think of the life of that sick baby, his heart's in trouble. If you don't take him immediately, his life will not be helped" Yudha said.

Yudha's words this time can go into his brain and heart.

"Not exactly what he said, I couldn't handle them all. I need someone else to help me" Jovan's heart made him think hard.

He can't be selfish this time.

"May Yudha be an extension of God's hand to protect her children?" Jovan looked at Yudha with consideration.

"Don't you see me like that, make a decision. And quickly tell Vani my wish. I'm sure he would have allowed that" Yudha said.

"Alright, I will try to give understanding to Vani" said Jovan.

While in front of the operating room door, there are still no signs if Vani has finished being treated.

They both had to wait again.

Almost three hours waiting, Vani was seen out of the operating room. He was pushed out using a gurney and will be escorted to the ward.

Apparently Yudha had told his men to take care of the hospital administration fee.

Yudha felt she had to take full responsibility for Vani. Therefore he fared like this, so whoever should be responsible.

"After Vani wakes up, please tell me my plan to take one of the babies to the big city" Yudha said.

"Now I will go home first, and when I come again tomorrow morning, I will take care of everything immediately and I will quickly take him" Yudha said before leaving the hospital tonight.

Jovan was just silent, he was stringing words to be able to convey everything without making Vani grieve too deeply.

The two men stepped in different directions this time. Jovan will accompany his wife, while Yudha will go to return tomorrow.

Inside Vani's room, Jovan sits next to Vani's bed. His eyes warmed up, looking at Vani who was still fast asleep.

Jovan clasped Vani's hand full of affection. Perhaps due to exhaustion, he fell asleep in a position still sitting near his wife's bed.

When it was almost morning, Vani woke up. He smiled looking at Jovan who was by his side.

Her body still feels pain, the first time for her to feel the Caesarean section to remove her two babies.

It turns out that the postoperative condition is more painful than during normal childbirth.

"Engmh" Vani pulls his hand, which has no needle from Jovan's hand.

Wake Jovan up.

"Are you awake, bun?" jovan asked smilingly, so great was Vani's sacrifice. Jovan realized it all.

"They were born bun. Both survived, Alhamdulillah" Jovan said.

"But, there's a bit of a problem with one of them" said Jovan, which left Vani frowning confused.

"Why?" ask Vani worriedly.

"One of them had a heart defect, and the doctor said the equipment at the hospital was not very complete to handle it" Jovan told Vani carefully.

"And he had to be rushed to a hospital in a big city that had more complete equipment" Jovan said.

"Do you agree if Yudha takes him to the big city, bun? For her safety" said Jovan.

Of course in his heart, Vani forbids Yudha's plan. Which mother is willing to leave her child, let alone she is still a baby.

Vani's tears certainly bore the river. His heart was broken hearing all of that.

"We as parents should not be selfish, bun. Think about the child's safety" Jovan said.

"Later Yudha will surely love him, just as he seemed to love Vee. Yudha said that if he was healthy, he would bring the child back to his brother" said Jovan, who was still trying to persuade Vani.

"But I haven't seen them yet, well" Vani said with a stifling cry.

"Tomorrow if you are better, we visit them in the NICU room. I haven't tried, either, because I haven't been allowed to visit" Jovan said.

Vani nodded, she was deepening all Jovan said.

"Breaking news this morning" a television reporter's voice was heard this morning at Yudha's residence.

"A woman was found in her car parked on a deserted road on the edge of the forest. The woman who was found dead with a terrible condition was seen wrapped around a large snake that had devoured some parts of his body" Yudha sharpened her ears.

His simple smile was beautifully engraved, "They work very well and quickly" murmured Yudha who was applying strawberry jam on a sheet of fresh bread.

Accompanied by a cup of milk coffee, Yudha still enjoyed her breakfast while listening to the news on television.

"A civilian who claimed to be the first to know of the incident immediately contacted the local rt chief".

"Together with some citizens, they headed to the place of discovery of the woman who was being swallowed by a snake. Some of them even captured the moment using video".

"After the chief of rt reported to the authorities, several police officers came to handle the case aided by officers from wildlife protection".

"But ill-fated, the fate of the woman could no longer be helped despite being successfully removed from the snake's mouth" the morning newscaster said excitedly.

Very rare cases, as if purely an accident if engineered by professional people.

And Yudha was very satisfied with the work of his men. Although he had to spend a lot of money, but it did not affect his wealth.

As soon as he finished his breakfast, he still had to take care of one more thing.

Yudha was determined to bring one of her children to care for herself. She believes her other child will grow up lovingly in Vani's hands.

His shaky steps led him into a luxury car that would take him to the hospital this morning.

"To the hospital, sir" Yudha ordered his driver. He's not in the mood to drive his own car.

"Okay sir" replied the driver.

Yudha was thinking of some compelling reasons for Vani to hand the baby over to her.

After arriving at the hospital, soon he will discuss all of that with Vani and Jovan.

For some reason, his heart led him to step straight into the NICU room. Jovan and Vani were there.

Through a small glass that could see into the room, Yudha saw that Jovan was whispering something into her baby's ear.

Yudha was convinced that Jovan was beating them.

As soon as his heart ached, he should have done that. As if feeling punishment, Yudha could not force.

"Mas Yudha" muttered Vani who saw Yudha's face in the window.

Aided by the sisters, Jovan puts her son back into the incubator. They still do not feel the cold.

Afterwards, Jovan pushes Vani out of the NICU room.

"Good morning, Vani. How are you doing?" yudha asks when she meets Vani who is in a wheelchair.

"Alhamdulillah, it's better, mas" replied Vani who had cried, he could not imagine if Yudha would really bring one of his children.

"Why crying?" asked Yudha who was reflexively wiping away the tears on Vani's cheeks.

"I'm sad if I have to part with them" said Vani who increasingly sobbed.

"Hey, don't cry. Listen to me yes" said Yudha who had crouched down in front of Vani, while Jovan was still petrified behind her after pushing Vani's wheelchair earlier.

"I never intended to separate you from them, I just wanted to save one of them who needed extra care" said Yudha who bravely clasped Vani's hand in front of Jovan.

"I promise you, I'll take good care of her later. And once she's healed, and strong enough to travel. I will definitely bring him to you, I will not separate you from him" Yudha said.

And Vani was still sobbing on his wheelchair.

"Think of his safety, now's not the time to be a selfish person, Van".

"When I brought her, your job was to take good care of her twin. So that when they meet later, they can still remember if they are twin brothers" Yudha said.

"What, you agree that I'm taking her to a big city hospital?" ask Yudha.

He needs certainty today.

"That's exactly what he said, bun. Think about his safety first. Later after you recover, and really healthy. We'll bring them together again" said Jovan, stroking his wife's shoulders.

Hearing the words of the two men, made Vani realize that his selfishness must be immediately abandoned.

For his son. They both need to be saved and live well.

One day, Vani will meet both of them.

"Alright, but we have to promise to take good care of him, yes, mas" said Vani with tears.

"Promise to bring us together again after he's back to health" said Vani tergugu.

Actually, Yudha could not separate them if he saw Vani like this, but for the safety of his son. Yudha will do anything.

His dream of becoming a father has been fulfilled even with the wrong path. And he will try to give his best for his son.

"Thank you, Vani. I promise you, later if he is healthy, I will bring you together" said Yudha who was determined to bring her son today.
