Marry Me

Bella's heart palpitates after hearing the answer from Lucas. He continued to gaze into the man's eyes hoping to find some doubt in them, yet the look in his eyes was so resolute and emitted a twinkle of solemnity from what he said. Bella can only smile disguising her hidden feelings in her heart. Yes, he knows they love each other but what other people will accept their relationship? What is a forbidden relationship because their blood is the same? I don't know. He was also confused by the relationship he was living.

Lucas looked at the woman in front of him and he knew the woman was trying to convince herself. Then he pulled Bella's body in his arms.

"Marry me" said Lucas steadily with one breath.

Bella's cry broke, then she drowned her face in Lucas' field chest. If only those sacred words were spoken by someone else, surely that person would immediately answer yes.
