Maura scowled the base of her nose. It has been more than 2 hours he persuaded Erland not to sulk anymore but unfortunately any effort he did not affect her husband. Erland took a quick peek at the bed Maura was there but his wife's reclining position was turned back on him so Erland did not know whether Maura was asleep or not.

With a face that was bent Erland entered the room, walking with legs that he deliberately jerked. He crawled up to the bed next to Maura, then he saw Maura's face from behind.

And with lips that were progressing forward Erland said, "Kok already slept anyway. Ehelah! I haven't had a night kiss!"

Erland ruffled her hair, now it was her turn to be frustrated because she believed tonight she would not be able to sleep because Maura had not kissed her. If his wife had just left him in their room before leaving him, he took the time to give a kiss during the night, Erland would not have been this frustrated and perhaps he had fallen asleep as well as Maura was. But unfortunately, his wife did not do it earlier which ended up making herself careless.
