Erland ran over to Maura and her mother-in-law. Mama Dian who had strengthened Maura and continued to be beside her, she immediately shifted when she saw Erland's presence there. He let the son-in-law take over his position earlier.
While Erland who was already beside his wife, he hugged Maura's body. Her tears were getting louder from within her eyes.
"sorry. Sorry me. I'm late to come here. Honey, I'm sorry," said Erland, full of regrets. If time could he have been taken down a few hours ago, he would not have gone to work and chose to accompany his wife. But unfortunately the time he could not change, he was late to accompany Maura in a state of pain as he saw it today.
Maura, who heard the words from her husband, though she still felt tremendous pain, stretched out her hand, stroked Erland's back and said, "You are not too late, dear. So don't apologize. And look, I haven't given birth to our child. There are two more stages for our baby to be born. So you can still accompany me during childbirth."
"But--" When Erland wanted to say again, his speech stopped when Maura firmly gripped the shirt he was wearing.
Erland, who understood Maura's actions, gently stroked Maura's head and said, "Strong grip dear. Spill out all the pain you feel right now on me. Although the pain I feel later is not worth your pain but at least I can feel your pain even a little. Come on, sweetie, strong grip. Spill your pain."
Maura tightened her grip accompanied by a ringis on her lips.
When Erland was trying to become a husband on standby, Mama Dian who had been staring at the interaction of the two with her hand stroking Maura's distended stomach. Secretly she smiled. It was not wrong of him to give his blessing to Erland. It was proven that his son-in-law was very dear to Maura. And he's really very grateful for that.
The sound of the door opening made Mama Dian turn her eyes that had been staring at the young couple, now staring at the doctor and the nurse who had just entered the Maura room.
The doctor and the sisters looked surprised as they stared at Maura and Erland. When they wanted to reprimand the man who was hugging Maura, the intention stopped when they heard Erland's voice enter their sense of hearing. Of course if Erland is the one then none of the doctors and nurses dare to reprimand him so it is better that they just let it go and choose to do their duties as much as possible not to interfere with Erland's continued activities calming Maura.
The female doctor who had examined the opening stage of Maura, she looked at the nurse beside her with a nod of her head, the code if the opening of Maura was perfect which means that soon the birth process will begin.
The sister who understood also nodded her head. Then he approached Mama Dian who was still standing beside Erland.
"Sorry lady. The birth process will begin soon. So without compromising my respect, the madam came out of this room first" said the nurse very politely.
Mama Dian nodded her head, chiming in the words from the nurse earlier. And without saying much, he immediately stepped out of the room.
When Mama Dian was already invisible, the nurse had moved to the side of Erland. And timidly he said, "Sorry before Mr. Erland. I ask Mr. Erland not to embrace the body of Madame Maura because the process of giving birth will soon be done. And if the master continues to hug like this, he is afraid that it will hinder the breathing for Madam Maura and will certainly be fatal later."
Erland who heard the last words from the nun, glanced with a sharp look. He did not like the words of the sister who seemed like Maura would be gone forever when she embraced like this, thought Erland who could not think clearly anymore.
Erland who felt Maura no longer hugging him, he looked at his wife. He wanted to protest but Maura's weak arm made him not do it. But still, the man snorted in annoyance. And by rubbing his tears violently, he straightened his body. Not to forget he grasped tightly one of Maura's hands which immediately received a tight grip from Maura.
The doctors and the sisters were preparing for their positions.
"Follow the instructions from me yes ma'am," said the doctor who was preparing to help the process of giving birth to Maura.
Maura just nodded her head. Nodding the head of the Maura made the doctor smile then he said, "Take a breath in the mistress."
Maura did as the doctor had told her. He took a deep breath and the doctor gave the order, "One, two, three. Scold!"
With all his might Maura pushed. His hand, which Erland held, the more he moaned while one other hand he used to grip tightly the bed linen lining the hospital bed.
"Oh!" erang Maura when he felt he was out of breath but the baby in his stomach did not want to come out.
"Let's try again, madam. Take a breath!" doctor's orders for the second time. And again Maura did.
"Scoffs!"
"Enghhhhh Arkkhhhhhh!" A groan full of pain from Maura made Erland again shed his tears before his body he leaned until his face was right in front of the ears of the wife to coincide with Maura had set his breath back. This means that the second experiment has not yet yielded results.
"Let's love the spirit. Wife strong. Wife's great. The spirit of your affection certainly can," said Erland earlier as if adding to the spirit of Maura who almost gave up. So Maura again strained with all her strength when the doctor returned to give her cues.
"Mistress spirit. Baby's head is visible. Come on one more time!"
With a body that had been very limp Maura could only close his eyes briefly before he took a deep breath again and with the rest of his energy he had strained, he continued, directing all his energy that is possible if the baby is not yet born at that time, Maura first fainted. But thankfully the baby he was fighting for was finally born also marked by the sound of his cry that was very loud filled the room.
With a deathly pale face, Maura smiled when she heard the crying voice. Not long after, he felt a kiss that landed all over his face that made Maura chuckle a little. Because he knows who the perpetrator who kissed him if not the husband who was the first time he saw his cry.
