By drinking the water that Erland had given him Maura continued to look at Erland who seemed to have finished with the cooking event.
"Ra, did you make rice?" erland asked as the man had glanced at the rice cooker, which was seen emitting a hint of smoke.
"Yes, I made rice. It looks like the rice is also ready for it," said Maura.
"Ohhhh yes already that I do not need to make rice anymore," said Erland although in the bottom of his heart he did not believe that Maura could really make rice. The result must have failed. And the guess from Erland had not missed at all. When the man opened the rice cooker with one hand carrying a plate intending to take the rice, he was actually made to gawk when looking inside the rice cooker was not rice but porridge.
Erland again had to be patient with his wife. Erland quickly turned off the rice cooker and took out the rice container containing the porridge. Then Erland slowly poured the pulp into the plastic which would end up in the trash.
Maura who saw him was surprised by the action of Erland.
"Kok you dumped in Er? It's food, you know," said Maura.
"I know the food. But if it is a porridge that has been mixed with various impurities from rice that you have not cleaned like this do you want to eat this food? If only you had washed the rice before you made the rice more precisely the porridge earlier I could fix this porridge that I could re-cook. But if it's dirty like this you yourself who cook also do not want to eat it, right?" erland said by showing the porridge that some are still in the rice cooker.
Maura who did not expect if the rice had become porridge was he actually asked, "Lho why even become porridge? I made him rice."
"Mostly water," answered Erland who was again busy with cleaning the rice cooker.
"Is she?"
"Hmmmm how much did you give the water?" asked Erland curiously.
"And that's me giving the water only half of the container anyway."
"Keep the rice?"
"I took rice with a glass and only one glass." Erland looked to sigh. It's worth being the porridge of an unbalanced person, Inner Erland.
"Do you want to know how to make the right rice?" erland asked by approaching Maura again.
Maura looked hesitant she nodded her head. He also had to know what he had done wrong until the rice he made turned into porridge.
Erland who saw the nod of the head from Maura was he carrying Maura with one of his legs kicking a small chair that Maura had sat down earlier. While Maura was surprised because she was carried back by Erland and wanted to protest, Erland first voiced.
"If you walk can spend 15 minutes so than my time wasted just waiting for you to arrive in the kitchen on foot so it's better I carry, let it be faster and does not take much time," said Erland. Where after he said his words he sat Maura's body in the chair that he kicked the little girl. He confronted his wife in front of the sink.
While Erland, he began to take over the rice cooker container and took it and put it in front of Maura.
"Well after you wash this rice two or three times" said Erland by giving an example to Maura. Maura who had noticed once in a while the woman nodded her head.
"Well after this rice is clean, you give balanced water. For example, this is yes, you know that there is only one cup of rice here then you give the water two cups only not more. So it's just 1:2." Erland again practiced how to cook rice properly.
"And if you want to make sure if the water is right or not you can use your finger segment."
"Fingerbread? How's it?" maura asked not understanding. This made Erland smile.
"So put your finger on the surface of the rice well make sure if the water is in one of your fingers, can not be more," said Erland.
"Would you like to try it?" tawar Erland was embraced enthusiastically by Maura.
"Okay, try it." Maura began dipping her index finger into the rice cooker container and followed the directions Erland had said earlier.
Maura seemed to be smiling happily when the water was right on one of her fingers.
"Look Er, the water is right in one of my fingers" Maura said with a steady glance at Erland before looking back in amazement at her hand still inside the rice cooker.
Erland who was anxious herself with the level of Maura who looked like a child she ruffled Maura's hair while saying, "That means the water is already right with the rice earlier."
"Well, if it's gini. We just took the nakannya." Erland took the rice cooker container which automatically made Maura keep her hands away from the container.
While Erland, the man walked towards the rice cooker.
"You can use this tool, right?" ask Erland.
"Yes. Just press it, right let the lights there move to the cook writing?" Erland smiled again then nodded her head before she pressed the button on the rice cooker.
"Well now we just wait for the rice to ripen," said Erland who again walked closer to Maura.
Where after he was in front of Maura who had changed his sitting position that had been facing the sink now the woman turned her back to the sink when she saw Erland put the container into the rice cooker, Erland now bent his body until his face was faced with the face of his wife. Then he said, "So how? Do you know how to cook rice right now, baby?"
Maura who was again made surprised by Erland's action, his heart was increasingly made to beat fast when he heard the word affection coming out of the man's lips.
Maura's lips were suddenly stiff and her tongue felt so faint that she could only answer Erland's question with a nod of her head.
When Erland saw the nod of her head, she straightened her body and then with her hands ruffled Maura's hair, she said, "Good girl."
