A hijab woman is busy arranging furniture in her new home. He who does have the principle of minimalist life, not much stuff into this new house. There is only furniture as necessary.
"Bu Arini, where's this?" A baby sitter named Ani asked as she held up a medium-sized abstract painting.
The woman named Arini pointed at the wall next to her. "Here you go, Bude" replied Arini.
"Okay, ma'am" Ani replied. He then took a nail and nailed the wall that was pointed at Arini. Then he put the painting there.
The painting is by Arini himself. While he was watching YouTube, he accidentally saw an abstract painting tutorial. Then he tried to draw it. And it worked.
Although the results are still not neat and not as good as the work of professional painters, but he is quite satisfied and confident displaying his work.
The painting is blue, pink and purple. With original scribbles. But still beautiful in the eyes.
"Mamaa..." A four-year-old girl ran while carrying a coloring book. "Jasmine's hungry." He whined while stroking his queen's stomach.
"Jasmine's hungry, huh? Let's eat!" Arini stopped her activities and carried her little daughter to the kitchen.
Arini had already bought food at a fast food restaurant. Nowadays everyone is busy, so there is no time to cook. So he decided to buy food.
"You want pizza, Ma," said Jasmine as she sat sweetly at the dinner table. The girl was able to get up and down the dining table chair herself. Because of that special chair of hers there was some kind of ladder on her leg.
"OKAY. Smart kid eats himself, huh?" Arini put a slice of pizza on the plate. He served it in front of Jasmine. Not to forget a glass of water was also there.
Jasmine who was already used to eating by herself was no problem with that. The little girl is very good at eating by herself. Not bad at bribes by his parents. The food was neat, not messy.
"Darling..." Leon-the beloved husband just came holding a two-year-old boy. "Everything's done" told Leon, lowering the boy from his carrier.
Leon had just arrived with all the belongings from his old house. And now their old house is empty. So that there was no mystical impression, they both agreed to rent the house.
"Thank God" answered Arini. "Yusuf wants to eat too?" Arini asked the boy who had just come down from Leon's sling. The boy was his second child.
The boy named Joseph nodded. "You want goleng, Ma. Yusuf does not vinegar pizza" he said, staring at his brother's plate with a headband.
"good. It's for Yusuf." Arini put a few pieces of fries on the plate. He then handed the plate to his son.
Joseph was also good at eating alone. He did not want to be bribed because he felt he was old and could eat alone. Only difference this Joseph if the meal is still messy. Not yet as neat as the brother.
"I'm upstairs first, huh? Want to tidy up on the top floor," said Leon and assented by Arini.
Leon rushed upstairs to finish the job. From today they are occupying this new home. They started cleaning the house a week ago. And now just tidying up the small printouts.
Arini looked at her two children who were eating with a smile. She was very lucky because her two children had a good appetite. So he did not need to bother thinking about strategies so that his son ate a lot. No need to use vitamins, both are always greedy in eating anything.
Arini scratched her non-itchy head. Confused what to respond. This is a child. Still toddler. Who actually taught that vocabulary to his son.
"Jasmine knows who that word is from, son?" arini asked gently as she looked at Jasmine fixedly.
"From Mother Sinta," replied Jasmine. Mother Sinta is Jasmine's teacher at her school. Currently Jasmine was recorded as a disciple in a Kindergarten. "Said Mommy Sinta, Jasmine's stepdaughter Mama. What does that mean, Ma?"
In his heart Arini felt annoyed at Sinta. Sinta is an early three-headed woman with two children who live not far from Arini's new home. How can women not have the ethics to be teachers.
"Emmm... The stepson, the child born to another mother. But there's still one father." Arini had to answer honestly. Jasmine is very intelligent. It is easy to remember what others say. If Arini lies, then the lie will be remembered by Jasmine.
"So that means, Mama's not the mother who gave birth to Jasmine?"
"Mother Jasmine is already in heaven. If Jasmine wants to see mom, Mama's gonna tell her the picture, okay?"
Jasmine nodded slowly. His mind was digesting what Arini said. Jasmine was four years old, she could already be chatted with even discuss.
Meanwhile, Joseph who did not know anything just focused on eating and did not pay attention to his mother and brother. Joseph's speech is not clear. He has not been able to pronounce the letter "R" and his words are still unclear.
But the intelligence of both is equally undoubted. Although his speech is not yet clear, Joseph easily remembers what others say. Therefore, both Arini and Leon are always carefully talking if they are in front of their children.
"That. Au tulun's." Joseph dangled his feet wanting to come down.
Arini took Joseph down from the baby chair. And after descending, the toddler stumbled up the stairs.
Joseph often went up and down the stairs. He even fell down the stairs as well. But fortunately it's okay.
Knowing her son was very active, Arini and Leon put a carpet on their steps. So that if Joseph had another incident, nothing fatal happened to his son.
"Ma..." Jasmine called Arini slowly. He had finished eating, but did not want to get out of his chair.
"Yes, honey," replied Arini.
"I love you."
"I love you too" replied Arini. He then approached Jasmine and kissed her forehead.
"We help Papa, yuk!" bring him.
"OKAY. Let's go!"
Jasmine slumped down from the chair. He then walked up the second floor stairs. Arini walked behind him.
