It Turns out There's Love

It Turns out There's Love
43 - MEET IN THE PARK

Next afternoon. At 16:00.

Zafira had just finished performing the Ashar prayer.

The girl went straight to the desk, turned off the laptop. He has completed some of his work and there are still some more work that has not been completed today. Tomorrow he will soon finish the rest of the work that has not been completed, because before applying for ten days leave for a honeymoon after his wedding, he wants all his work to be done.

Zafira picked up the phone on the table and typed in a message.

"Fariz, we meet in a regular park. I'm leaving now from the office. Don't forget the Ashar prayer" the message was sent.

Without waiting for Fariz' reply, the girl immediately put the phone in the bag and walked out of the room.

Five minutes later, Zafira had been in the car heading to their memorial park. Sounding notification sound on the phone, indicating there is an incoming message. Zafira slowed down the speed of the vehicle seeing the incoming message.

"I just finished praying. Fine, be careful on the way," Fariz said.

Fariz's office is closer to the park. After twenty minutes, Fariz had arrived first in the park where their childhood used to play with their parents. And until they grow up they still often to this place.

Such a beautiful garden. With green grass deliberately planted in the expanse of land, arranged so neatly almost in the entire corner of the park. There are many flowers growing there, ranging from fir, jasmine roses and various other flowers.

In one corner of the park there is also a lake that is wide enough that around it overgrown with large trees with dense foliage so that the lake remains shady even though every day scorching the sun was hitting that place.

And in order to satisfy the park visitors, many long chairs are provided to sit relaxed around the lake. Can be seen clearly if the lake is well maintained, stretches are very beautiful and clean.

Fariz had been sitting on a long chair while staring at the stretch of lake that was before him.

Shortly thereafter, Zafira arrived at the park and went straight to Fariz, sitting to the left of the friend.

"Here," Zafira smiled as she thrust vanilla ice cream at Fariz.

"Still had time to buy ice cream apparently," Fariz said as he took ice cream from Zafira's hand and began to eat it.

Long enough they keep silent dissolved in their minds while enjoying the small waves of lake water when blown by the afternoon wind so that they do not feel the ice cream in their hands has been exhausted.

"Clean your hands," Zafira gave a wet tissue to Fariz, which the man immediately greeted.

"Fariz, I'm bringing you here to talk seriously" Zafira said after seeing Fariz was relaxed enough and ready to talk.

"About your marriage?," said Fariz, looking down at Zafira and then returning to the lake in front of her.

Zafira was surprised and turned to Fariz.

"How do you know?,"

"Without you telling me, I already know," said Fariz.

"Yes, I want to talk about that," Zafira said softly, slightly moving in her sitting position, clearly visible from her body language if the girl was not calm.

Honestly, he felt it was hard to tell Fariz about his wedding plans that will take place next month.

And suddenly the advice of his mother, Tina, appeared in his mind.

"If Zafira is your soul mate, no one can separate you. There will be a way for you to unite. But if Zafira is not your soul mate, as strong and persistent as you fight for her, you will never be together. Surrender yourself and pray to Allah to be given the best path for your life and also Zafira's life,"

Tina's advice was again ringing in Fariz's ears. Everything my mother said was true. No one can resist the will of God. And right now the best thing he has to do is surrender to God and learn to let go of Zafira for the girl's happiness.

Injured? That's certain. The long wait was in vain. The hope of living with Zafira is running aground. There was nothing to do at this moment other than to let go. Whatever happens, he has to learn to do it.

Now it's time for Fariz to let Zafira live with the man she loves. Even though the pain in the heart will somehow end, but he must remain strong. Let all his wounds be buried for the sake of seeing Zafira happy and hope that there is still a miracle to heal his wounds.

"Fariz, don't you mind if I marry Ronald?" asked Zafira still staring at the man beside her.

Fariz smiled to cover up her sadness with the intention that Zafira could see if she was okay.

"No. I don't mind. I will definitely approve of your wedding plans. This is good news and I, as one of your closest people, will be happy to hear this news,"

"Certainly Fariz? You approve and don't mind me getting married to Ronald?," Zafira's face seemed radiant looking at Fariz who was sitting with a calm face beside her.

"Yes. Why should I mind? If it makes you happy, I'll definitely respect it. Your whole family's blessing, why don't I? I always pray for the best for you and Ronald, "Fariz tried to convince Zafira while forcing himself to widen his smile even though his heart felt slashed by sharp iron, pain and pain.

"Thank you Fariz. You always understand me. Just like mama, papa, oma and Zafran. I love you guys" Zafira clasped Fariz's hand.

But Fariz quickly let go of the grasp in hopes that, if he starts to keep his distance from Zafira, he can quickly forget his love for the girl.

"Why did you take your hand off? Are you not friends and brothers with me anymore?" Zafira was surprised to find Fariz's attitude.

"It's not so, but you have to start keeping your attitude. Because soon you will be officially the wife of someone. I don't want your future husband to kill me for watching you hold another man's hand. Haha, haha,"

Fariz deliberately showed laughter and tried hard even though the debris of his heart was broken to pieces that left no hope in the slightest. He tried to throw away any hurt feelings in his heart and deliberately carved a smile before the girl.

"Not funny!," Zafira murmured at Fariz's joke.

Fariz did not respond to the girl's grumbling and immediately got up from the chair and stepped two meters forward. He stood pensively looking at the calm lake giving a signal to Fariz that his heart should be like the lake.

Zafira then followed Fariz, standing to the left of the friend.

"Fariz..," call Zafira slowly looking up at the man.

"Yes, what is it?" Fariz turned to look at the girl who was currently staring at him. But only for a moment, then Fariz turned back to avoid Zafira's gaze, staring back at the beauty that lay before them.

"Are you all right?," Zafira asked very carefully, keeping her eyes fixed on Fariz.

Fariz was still silently staring at the beauty of the lake water. Until the next minute the man turned his body to the left facing Zafira who was standing next to him. Both hands held the girl's shoulders and twisted Zafira's body to face her.
