After traveling, it takes quite some time. Finally Jovian turned the steering wheel of his car until the vehicle turned into the yard of the house on stilts that stood firmly on a large stretch of land. The roar of the car engine tore through the gripping silence of the night, making the nocturnal animal sounds a little camouflaged.
"Maybe Papi and Mami are sleeping. We must be bothering them tonight!" Kiana said to her husband who was preparing to go down.
"That's try tapping a few times, if it's not open we go back down to find the hotel." Jovian.
"Alright, at least we came without wasting any time." Jovian Muttered.
"Yes yes." Kiana cut her lips, then gave a kiss.
Maybe the woman was still a little upset. Because Jovian gave a little input so that the two of them did not waste a lot of time on things that are not too important, until both agreed if there was no overnight in the city of Bandung first, and choose to continue the journey to Pangalengan so as not to make everything more chaotic because a lot of time is wasted. One of them is the problem of clothing fittings that until now have not been completed because they wait for some family members who are indeed partly living outside the city, including the large family of Danuarta.
"You just keep talking. I gave up, and followed what you suggested." Kiana opened her seatbelt, then came out first.
And Jovian only smiled when he saw his wife was upset. It was a little scary, but in fact the look on Kiana's annoyed face made Jovian feel even more anxious. After that Jovian opened the door, got out of the car there, and walked quickly after Kiana who was currently walking up each staircase made of wood one by one.
"Sep!" Kiana said as she peered inside.
Where the atmosphere was already dark, and not a single light was lit in there.
Without further ado, Jovian approached the door, knocked on it several times, calling his parents, hoping they would wake up and open the door.
Silent, only the sound of crickets was heard. Added to the sounds of branches of trees in the wind is quite strong.
"Mommy?" Jovian called again.
But there is still no law from the inside. Making Kiana who had started to occupy herself immediately stood back up.
"We'll find the nearest hotel. Kasian if you have to disturb Mami with Papi! Maybe they are also tired because a lot of activity is done." Kiana whispered a little.
Jovian looked at Kiana fixedly.
"Wait a minute, okay?"
"Ish but wait here a little creepy. The atmosphere was gripping, there was no other sound, other than the sound of crickets around the house. Where the wind is tight again!" Kiana's face changed slightly.
Kiana's beautiful bead looks increasingly round, with a slightly wrinkled forehead, and legs that show little vibration.
"Darling? I'll wait in the car, okay? It's cold, I'm not strong." Kiana's lying.
Clearly the expression of fear was so obvious on her pretty face. Although he does not believe in ghosts, but the silence of the night can make his mind wander on bad things. Moreover, the atmosphere around the house of his father-in-law which is said to be very quiet.
Kiana almost went to get down and get in the car there like what she intended from the start. However, Jovian immediately restrained his hand, again bringing Kiana to sit on the wooden chair available there.
"Why?"
"It's cold, I'm going to the car!"
"Cold? Or scared? Didn't you say you didn't believe in ghosts? Then what are you afraid of? While I'm here, hum?" Jovian immediately asked.
While Kiana did not answer immediately, she instead hid the face on Jovian's chest, wrapped her hands around the man's waist, and hugged him very tightly, then closed her eyes.
"Just the crickets, Baby!" Jovian rubbed Kiana's back, trying to make the woman in her arms a little better than her fear that was beginning to fill her.
Jovian and Kiana sat there for a long time. Until finally the sound of movement was heard from the inside direction. And sure enough, the space lights suddenly lit up, then someone fluttered the curtains, and then the sound of the door lock was played several times.
"But I thought your mom was just delirious. He said he heard a car coming in, then he heard a knock and you called him. Apparently true!" Jonathan looked at the state of his son as well as his son-in-law in turn.
Where the two hugged each other.
"I was going to go find a hotel if Papi didn't open the door." Chirps Jovian.
"Yes, let's go in." Jonathan moved his hand, then grabbed Kiana and led her daughter-in-law first.
While Jovian came back down, walked up to the car, and carried a large bag of clothes out, then ran fast until the man actually entered.
"Geez, are you really coming?!" Leni's in action.
He sat on the edge of the bed with a puffy face, and immediately got up to then walk up to Kiana who currently seemed to be sitting on the sofa of the tv room.
"I'm sorry so make Mami and Papi wake up." Kiana to her two in-laws.
Leni also smiled Jonathan, sitting down to Kiana, while smiling meaningfully. For some reason, the arrival of Kiana became their own happiness.
"It's okay, the important thing is you guys survived to the goal." Leni grabbed Kiana's hand.
However, Leni was a little surprised when she found Kiana's palm that felt so cold.
"Jo, Kiana's hands are cold. Don't you have gloves? I know it's cold here." The woman asked.
Leni immediately protested.
Jovian who was putting his luggage into the room immediately came out, then looked at both parents and his wife alternately.
"You cold?" Ask.
Kiana nodded slowly, looking at her husband with a look that looked even more adorable.
"Why not disappear? Did you bring a little blanket?" Jovian's voice sounded soft, as well as soft.
"His coldness after coming down earlier, not fitting on the way." Kiana.
Making Leni get up right away, leaving them to immediately go to the kitchen. Without saying a word.
"Want tea or milk?" Shouted Leni. "Coffee is there, too, but it's not good to have coffee in the middle of the night!" Connect Leni.
"I'm so repotin Mommy." Kiana Sahut.
"It's okay. How could the Granny leave her favorite daughter-in-law in a state of not okay." Jonathan said in a pela voice.
Hearing that Jovian laughed, while Kiana just kept quiet while holding back a smile.
"These Grandmas are still very loud, you know!" Leni looked up from the kitchen. "So don't talk so much!" Firmly Leni.
And that made Kiana's laughter gush.
"So what do you want, son?" His voice softened again.
"Where according to Mami, if here is good to drink tea, yes tea. Let us all drink tea together in the morning like now. This rare moment, when else can drink tea together at night, even almost morning." Kiana chuckled softly.
"Yes already. Mami just prepare tea! Who knows Aki-aki would also like some tea. You see if you don't pay attention to sulking like Axel." Reply Leni.
And the silence of the night soon disappeared, replaced by the hilarious joking and laughter of Kiana, Jovian, Leni, and Jonathan.
