Jovian Alton (Life-Life Bodyguard)

Jovian Alton (Life-Life Bodyguard)
Warm tea in the morning.

The black sky began to fade, replaced with a greenish blue color that was so dazzling. Not to mention the white clouds that look like paintings, making the atmosphere in the village really feel very different.

The windows were wide open, as were all the doors, until a fresh wind blew through almost the entire gap, making a girl who was still asleep, close the blanket because it feels very cold.

While Jovian was sitting in the front wooden chair of the house with his father, accompanied by two cups of sweet tea that Leni provided.

"Your wife's candidate is still sulking?" Jonathan turned his head, looking at his second child with a faint smile.

"Bapy know?"

"Your dispute was very noisy last night." The old man chuckled.

Jovian grabbed his cup of tea, drank it very slowly, then he put it back on the round table, which became a barrier between his chair and Jonathan.

"Kiana was jealous. And it turns out that easing jealousy in a young girl like Kiana is even harder." Clearly in a voice that sounded soft.

Jonathan could still hear it very clearly.

"Maybe, for us men it looks very trivial. We just simply think that there is no connection whatsoever to us with someone, .. but not with women, the memory will continue to be stored, the brain will continue to spin thinking about the worst. Papi told you, the woman is a living being who uses feelings in every breath, .. So you can't assume Kiana's feelings for you as well as Eva's are excessive."

Jovian was silent, staring at his father while listening.

"Are you serious about what you said yesterday?" Jonathan seemed to be digging his son's feelings even deeper.

"What did Papi see until he asked like that? Do you doubt me too?"

Jonathan stared fixedly at Jovian, diving into the netra of his second child and trying to find a lie that he might have done.

"For Kiana. Papi did not see any hesitation at all, even he looked like a girl who had just felt how beautiful it was to fall in love. But you, .. we all know what your complaints have been like in the last 2 years. Then suddenly came with a girl, whom you introduced as your future wife! Do we not doubt? You used to talk about Eva without introducing Kiana." Jonathan says.

"Our relationship is new. And I'm afraid if it's too much in the umbar it won't work." The man replied casually as usual.

"Will it or not, it depends on you. As long as you're in a relationship, no matter how much you hide it, it won't work if you never really open your heart." Jonathan advises.

"I'm trying." Jovian tries to convince his father.

He began to feel uneasy when almost everyone doubted his actions. Including Kiana who started to retreat very slowly, because she felt the same way.

"You will truly end when Kiana finds out about this!" Jonathan was in disbelief.

"Kiana knows." And that's the answer Jovian immediately said.

Which of course made Jonathan at a loss for words again to speak. He just looked at the young man beside him while shaking his head in disbelief.

"What about his parents?"

Jovian looked at his father.

"It was precisely those who asked me to marry Kiana."

"And you just take it?" Jonathan slightly raised the intonation of the voice.

Jovian chimed in with a nod.

The old man sighed, his gaze from Jovian as soon as he turned towards the front, then swept his face slowly.

"What are you doing, Jovian. Papi never taught you to play with a girl's heart. Look Kiana! He's so innocent for you to hurt like this." He said without taking a look.

Jonathan really looks disappointed at his son's attitude. And maybe that disappointment will only increase if he finds out what Danu promised just because it made Jovian want to marry his daughter.

A share he got up to 10%, and it was big enough for a class of coal companies that were marketed to the international scene. Of course, the coal mines that Danu manages have stood firm, and the income is not playing games.

"I was just trying, Pih. But now it seems like I'm starting to like him."

"No. You're just trying to have to like her, not really like Kiana." Sergey Jonathan, he denies his daughter's remarks.

"You don't understand, .. I told you that Kiana started to enter my heart and mind. It may not be as big as the time I love Eva, but trust me slowly I'll really love her." Jovian's great-grandson.

"She's a very sweet girl, Jo! Don't ever make Kiana feel like she's just an escape." Jonathan warned, and this time with the firmness that the man always showed.

"I promise." Reply Jovian in a low tone.

Jonathan got up from his seat, grabbed a cup and immediately went to enter the house, approaching his wife who was making a morning meal with a woman who always helped him in every morning until the afternoon, then go home after everything is done.

While Jovian immediately sculpted, because he knew if his father was disappointed at this time. And there was nothing he could do, because most of what Jonathan said was true.

The clamps!!

The door of the room that Kiana was currently occupying opened. And a girl with a distinctive puffy face wakes up, with a bear ear bando on top of her head, holding her hair back to look a little more tidy.

His gaze scrutinized every place, staring at the house that always looks neat, with the windows and doors already open, making the morning wind feel more and more blowing.

He walked towards the front, and he found Jovian sitting on a wooden chair, staring straight ahead. Then he turned his head when he realized the existence of someone standing in the doorway.

"Morning, Mom!" Kiana greeted first, as their views clashed.

Jovian smiled, one hand he stretched out, asking Kiana to come closer.

"Are you awake?" His gaze followed where Kiana was walking.

"I can't sleep anymore. My legs feel frozen, weird when last night they weren't." He said, then sat down in the chair Jonathan had been sitting in.

"I forgot not to tell tight drawer socks." Jovian chuckles. "You wear it now? Who knows if your feet are still frozen!"

Kiana smiled.

"No need to."

"Relatedly? Do you want to drink something too?"

Again Kiana just smiled, while continuing to look at Jovian with a facial expression, different from the look on her face last night.

But Jovian got up from his seat.

"Wait, I'll get you some sweet tea first." After saying that he directly entered and walked towards the kitchen was.

And after waiting a few minutes. Finally Jovian returned, bringing a cup of sweet tea that he immediately put on the table.

"Drink, so you don't feel too cold here." Jovian sat down.

"Thank you, Om. But the power is back, I should have prepared sweet tea for Om, .. even me!" He laughed softly.

"I've, so just relax."

Kiana nodded again, she grabbed her cup, blew around a few times, then sipped very slowly.

"It's good morning, yeah! The air is still clean, the sky is nice, .. lots of chicken, birds are crickets." Kiana put her cup back on the table.

They looked back at each other, scanned each other and then smiled.

"That's why I never came home. Because once you set foot in your hometown, you can never leave quickly." Jovian.

The look on his face looked completely different, even a smile now continued to dominate the man's face.

"Om born here?" Kiana looked at her heart lover fixedly.

Even Jovian looks very handsome, just because he wears a Hoodie and all-black training pants.

"No. I was born in the Netherlands, grew up and went to school there until Junior High. I went home to high school, and continued my education here."

Kiana nodded her head, listening to Jovian tell her a story, while enjoying her warm sweet tea.

"Om good at IT, right? Could it be Bodyguard too? You know I don't have to take military education huh? Or the kind of rich Om Denis too. Uh did Om become Bodyguard through Om Denis line?"

Jovian did not immediately reply, he just kept silent while staring at the face without make-up with the adorable bando belonging to the girl sitting next to him. Petite body, wiry fingers, pure white skin, brownish short hair. At first glance Kiana looks like a high schooler, not an adult girl who has almost finished her studies.

"I also went to military school. I'd like to go to Paspampres too, …"

"What!?" Kiana's eyes were perfectly rounded. "President's security forces?" Kiana almost yelled, but she soon gained control.

Jovian.

"Cool."

"But after that I worked for someone else for about 3 years, got married, and resigned, .. stayed in the apartment almost every day, like a useless person just because of a broken heart." Jovian chuckles bitterly.

"But afterwards Denis came to see me, offered me a job. But I find it a little strange, being a personal aide to the daughter of a businessman turned out to not need a firearm. Unlike when I was guarding some higher-ups in this country, there was at least one that I always brought along just in case."

The girl continued to stare at Jovian without getting bored. Listening to him tell a story seems like a very pleasant thing for Kiana, because maybe after this the two will get closer, because Jovian has started to open up, and tell him who he really is.

"Om sorry you ever resigned? Then working with Papa?"

"For the first time, yes. Because I was so stupid, had let go of it all, when it was the job I wanted. Because I got more amazing things."

"What's? A bigger salary?"

"One of them is, but the point is not that." Jovian looked at Kiana with a stifled smile.

"Continue?"

Kiana who was beginning to realize also looked smiling, with a timid expression. Even his cheeks looked blustery, just like a very ripe tomato.

"I can marry his daughter. Without having to bother doing a lot of things! Ye know? Marrying the daughter of a businessman should be equality, let alone a coal businessman like your Papa!" Jovian remembers his struggle, when he was about to marry Eva who was none other than the daughter of a businessman as well.

Kiana was no longer able to speak. The contents of his head suddenly felt empty, as the pounding on his chest continued to increase.

"Kia?"

"Hum?"

"Are you not angry? Again, I apologize for what I did. Maybe I shouldn't have accepted her invitation to eat together, or spaced a little bit until Eva couldn't go any further like yesterday." His gaze suddenly became sad.

Kiana shook her head.

"I think I'm overreacting. Om the same Aunt Eva is not wrong, .. my mind is not right until I can think the wrong."

Jovian smiles.

"Come here!" He grabbed Kiana's hand, then pulled it slowly, until it made the girl get up, and walked over to her.

"Of!" His voice shrieked, as Jovian suddenly just hugged his waist, and put his face on his stomach.

"Never say we'll never make it. Never say that what we are trying is in vain. Pretty one person who can walk away from my life, .. enough Eva! Not with you Kiana."

The girl was silent, bowing her head, then circulating her gaze in every direction.

"Om, someone's gonna see us. Shame on!"

"At least just Mami and Papi. So let it go."

"Shame Om!" Kiana was in a daze, trying to escape from the twists of Jovian's hand.

And after continuing to try, Jovian finally let go of Kiana, letting the girl sit back in her original chair.

"You want to go for a walk?" Ask later.

"Where? It's still morning, the sun just showed up."

"See the tea garden." Jovian immediately got up, then extended his hand. "Hurry up, if you have seen the view above, I guarantee you feel at home and will not want to go home quickly." He moved his hands.

Kiana nodded, she finished the rest of her sweet tea that was already cold first, bangkita then left after she received her lover's hand.
