Kean Hanum

Kean Hanum
Episode Seventeen

Leela closed her eyes, leaning her body against the wall. Repeatedly breathing in to control feelings.

"I'm sorry" said Bimo, who must have been worried about his son.

Leela nodded but her lips locked tightly. He believes that this is the way the husband educates his son.

"Pi!" Andra approached and looked at her parents who were hugging each other to calm each other down.

"Keep this news first. Don't ruin the happy mood with bad news. Kean will be fine" said Bimo, taking off a hug on his wife and patting her son on the shoulder. Then he approached Arga and Shepa who were talking to the nurse.

"Bim, we're grandfathers" Arga said after the nurse left.

"Because you are old."

Leela, whose heart was not well, smiled at her husband's words. So did Shepa and Andra who both chuckled.

"Damn it," Arga said, punching Bimo softly in the chest and then hugging him.

After being told by the nurse that Kia had been moved and could be visited, they stepped together to meet Kia to congratulate her.

"Darling, happy mother, son. I didn't think you were growing so fast. Congratulations, dear," said Shepa, peeping at the child's forehead.

"Thank you, Mama. Mommy." Kia looked at her in-laws.

"Congratulations, son. Tell me what gifts you want! You don't have time to buy gifts for you, dear."

"Some ask for 50% of Papi Bim's shares, Kia," Arga said chimed in and brought back laughter among them.

"Say you will," Bimo replied, then approached his son and daughter-in-law and congratulated him.

After Bimo, only Arga then Shafia - Bimo's daughter who just returned from school - went straight to the hospital with Kayra - Kia's sister's different father.

They talked for a moment and then came home. While Arga and Shepa are still there accompanying Kia and Andra. Kayra herself was asked to go home because even though Kia's nursery is a VVIP room but Kia also needs rest. Too many people will interrupt their rest.

Neither Arga nor Shepa had been told about Kean so as not to worry them.

On the way there is only a quiet atmosphere in the car filled Bimo, Leela and two personal assistants. Both Leela and Bimo were busy with their own thoughts. Busy thinking about their son who is now in the cell.

Leela turned to her husband, who had been in the car ever since, and stared at the street. Leela's hand stretched out to hold Bimo's hand. A sweet smile she gave as she said, "all will be fine, Pi."

Bimo nodded then pulled the wife into a hug.

Upon arrival at home, their car is intercepted by journalists who want to dig up information about Kean's arrest on drug charges.

"Decision!" Bimo called his personal assistant.

"Ready, sir." Galih came down because he understood what his employer wanted even though it was not said clearly.

Galih confronts and calms the reporters while Bimo stays inside the house with his wife.

"Close your ears, don't listen to bad words ruin our day" Bimo told his wife, "this news will not subside in two or three days. So we have to mentally prepare."

Bimo also gathered his entire family. Of course, Tresna was shocked after hearing the news delivered by her son.

"Bim, he'd be positive for a urine test. For almost three years he took one of the drugs. But that's according to the doctor's prescription. Most likely we can free him" Wijaya said.

Bimo nodded.

"Indeed, Pap, but I think letting him in jail for a while is better. Hopefully this will make him think a little bit normally. Not forever will he escape the law or even death."

Tresna shook her head in disapproval.

"Mama, please don't do anything. Please, let him feel the difficulty to understand the meaning and purpose of life."

Tresna let out a long sigh, she turned to her daughter-in-law who looked fine. But as a mother Tresna can feel what Leela feels. Women are created with many feelings. He would feel pain if he saw a fellow woman sick.

"What's wrong?"

Amira shook her head smiling, then she continued to touch the food that had been silenced since.

"You said there was nothing but you seemed to be thinking about something. Did the check-up result bother you?" kaif asked, looking at the wife who looked confused.

Kaif my uterus is in trouble, I'm afraid you'll choose to leave when I say this. I'm not ready to lose you.

"Amira's? You know if I don't like lies?"

Amira nodded, sighing deeply before deciding to speak.

"Kaif, there's something you should know about my health. Doctor says I .. The chances of getting pregnant are very small."

Kaif.

"I'm actually afraid to tell you this. I'm afraid you left me but I also have no reason to hold you back. You want a child so badly that I'm not sure I can give you what you want. You may leave but I'm afraid you lost your position in papa's company."

The position as CEO in his father's company could indeed be the way Amira detained Kaif. He was sure Kaif did not want to lose the position she could easily get for marrying him.

Kaif's goal is to have children soon too for that reason. If between him and Amira there is a child, then his position is getting stronger.

Kaif was silent for a moment thinking of a plan. He smiled as he remembered Hanum with Ibam.

"Mom at home or at the practice?" ask Kaif.

"In the practice. Why?"

Kaif did not reply, she simply shrugged and continued to eat lunch.

After lunch, Amira was picked up by the driver. Kaif met her mother-in-law at the practice.

"Mother Virdha is busy?" kaif asked his personal assistant in-laws.

"Looks not. Can I help you?"

"Please tell me I want to meet."

Virdha is informed of Kaif's arrival by her personal assistant. The photo he had been looking at was put back to where it was. He got up from his seat to his daughter-in-law who suddenly came and said something important.

Hanum is doing the usual activities. At first he was not disturbed by Kean's absence but when he saw Ibam who continued to look for him he was curious as well.

Lest she be heartbroken from being rejected, Hanum thought.

"Bam, I'm not joining them" Hanum asked on the fourth afternoon after Kean was not seen.

"Later, wait for me first," said Kwan stepped onto Kean's rented porch. Sitting there after knocking on the door of a neighbor's house.

Hanum approached the child, "do you want? If you wait for me, we don't know when Om Kean will be home. Jajan yuk."

"No way, Ndaaa. I ... would like .. wait .. Dad."

"But right" Hanum's words were cut off by Ibam's head making him sigh long. It was hard to persuade her son if he wanted to.

"Bam, can you ask? If you know, Ibam why call dad Om Kean?" Hanum expressed his curiosity.

"Emmm because ... Om Ken's house is big." Ibam demonstrated with his hands, "In the house there are many toys. Call emm emm mami Om Ken beautiful." Ibam told me what she remembered at Kean's house. He was smart enough to catch and retell what he saw.

Hanum frowned. Big house, lots of toys, beautiful mom Om Ken. Means Kean hasn't been as good as he's seen. Hanum starts to get curious and guess who Kean is.
