Kean Hanum

Kean Hanum
Episode Eight

Kean's intentions aside from approaching Hanum, he was indeed unable to freely wander now. The police must be looking for her with Hans. So he can't use cell phones or ATMs and other cards.

Despite his annoyance, Hanum still kindly gives food to Kean but still does not allow strangers into his house.

"Successfully?" hans asked when Kean came to bring two plates of instant noodles with rice plus potluck side dishes.

"No."

"She's kind of shutting herself up from strangers. What more a man like us. I think she's been traumatized either being hurt or abused."

Kean choked upon hearing Hans speech and stopped the rice mouthful into his mouth. He pensively for a while and then went back to eating.

The next day Kean waved at Ibam who greeted him first.

Last night the little boy had a peek at what his mother was doing until he went back and forth to unlock the door.

"You want to go to school?" kean asked crouching in front of Ibam. Now he uses head coverings more often just in case. Hans really troubled himself.

Ibam shook his head, "want to buy toys."

"Baaaaam," came a call from Hanum inside the house. Instead of following his mother, Ibam hid behind Kean's back.

"Why hide?" Kean turned around.

"Shuuuu!" Ibam covered Kean's lips using his tiny hand making Kean chuckle.

"Baaam, come on, son. We can miss the shuttles." Hanum thinks that his son is still in the room. When he went to the room, there was nothing. "Ibaaam, not funny son. Baaam"

Hanum panicked and ran outside, "sorry, see Ibam?" he asked Kean who was behind him.

Kean's large body could certainly cover Ibam's small body.

Kean signaled that the person Hanum was looking for was in front of him. It turned out that Ibam was laughing while hugging Kean. This ripped back Hanum's feelings. His face immediately turned grim, feeling guilty because the child had never felt the affection of the figure called the father.

"Sorry, Ibam just used my body to hide" Kesan said as he stared at the wound in Hanum's eyes.

Hanum replied with a nod and asked his son to come closer and leave.

"Want me to drop off?" Kean offered, "let's just say thank you for helping me and my friend from hunger last night."

Hanum refused, but Kean followed behind and chose a different transport but with the same goal.

***

Kaif-Hanum's ex-lover, who is now the husband of Amara Shanum and is also an architect, is in the middle of building memorials in an area close to the market.

When he turned to the streets and saw Hanum get off the transport. He approached her immediately. Undeniably there is a sense of longing that at times whack him. The marriage with Amara went well, although he said there was no love but they met each other's needs including biological needs. They behave the same as householders based on love.

"Braggu!"

Hanum recalls hearing his name on the call, when he turned his head he did not expect to meet Kaif here.

"It's Hanum, right?" kaif asked who immediately hugged Hanum.

Infuriated by Kaif's behavior, Hanum immediately pushes her away. "Please don't be like that again. I'm not comfortable."

Kaif smiled at the confused Ibam and looked back at Hanum.

"Him?" ask Kaif.

"You changed Hanum, and I miss you so much." Kaif expresses her heart that feels uncomfortable with Hanum's change.

"The time has changed."

"Why run away from home? If you want to raise this child, I'm ready to help you. I'm ready to be his father too."

Hanum stared dislikefully at the former's statement and chose to leave it. But it's not Kaif if she just let go. She chased after Hanum and held him tightly, cornering him against the wall of someone else's shop made Ibam feel uncomfortable.

"Nda," whined Ibam who started to be afraid.

Hanum's unruly hand was used to slap Kaif. "Don't be crazy, Kaif. You are my brother's husband." Hanum still controlled his voice so as not to create a commotion in a crowded place.

"I don't love him. I want only you, Hanum. I don't care if you're someone else's ex. I sincerely accept it. Let's go back to sulking a delayed dream." Kaif held onto the hot cheek from Hanum's slap.

"Sir." Ibam back whining.

"Enough here don't follow me. We're done," pressed Hanum and pulled his son's hand away leaving Kaif staring at him. But Kaif is not the silent type of person. He returns after Hanum but is confronted by Kean.

"Surge, you know nothing so there's no need to interfere."

"You're wrong I know who you are. I don't like to see women bullied anything else in front of their children."

"It's none of your business, she's my sister-in-law and she has to go back home so who are you meddling in our family affairs."

Kean chirped, "Look! he's not comfortable." Kean used a gesture to drive Kaif away.

"You have no right to set me-"

"But I deserve to protect the important people in my life" Kean replied.

Kaif sneered and smiled cynically. "What is your position in Hanum's eyes? I know exactly the taste he's not your kayak."

Kean cleared his throat then reached out, "Hanum's future husband."

Hanum who had not been far away and had seen it instantly widened his eyes. He could have followed her all the way to the market, Hanum thought.

"You're the ex, I'm the future" Kean said again with confidence. He approached Hanum and whispered, "don't ask much or he'll chase and humiliate you like that."

Kean picked up Ibam and did the hifive.

Kean's words were right, for now it seemed like Hanum needed to pretend. Although she clearly felt uncomfortable being close to her new neighbor.

While circling the market and looking for kitchen necessities, Hanum occasionally notices Kwan who looks familiar with his children. Kean treated his son well. Until Hanum finished shopping Ibam never came down from Kean's sling and now the boy even looks comfortable sleeping while hugging tightly Kean's neck.

"Know that I'm handsome" Kean said as his tail caught Hanum watching him.

Hanum didn't reply.

"If you still want to look up do not have to pretend that it is still free no one has," said Kean teasingly.

"Polite," ketus Hanum walked first to bring his groceries.

"Hey don't walk in front of me, I'm not strong with his teasing. Please just walk beside me."

"That's why the eyes are on the guard" Hanum said annoyedly.

"Difficult, your charm is too beautiful to ignore."
