Chapter 23. Dwelling
“Good, Professor.” The student walked out, not long after. He came back while carrying a confused-looking Lien Hua.
“Em, what's going on?" lien Hua asked, Professor Hanna glanced at the student earlier. He walked away and closed the door tightly.
“Miss Li, you found the holy book?” Professor Hanna pointed at the holy book, Lien Hua followed the direction of the professor's finger and stared at the holy book without blinking.
“Iya, then why?”
“I want, you take the book. In fact, only the original owner of the book could use it at will. But since you've found and even touched it without any injuries, maybe the owner of the book is an acquaintance or a close friend of yours. So you can touch or take the book.”
“Em, I don't really understand. Besides, why should I call him? Professor Agra also touched the book and nothing happened,” elak Lien Hua.
“You see, the professors are unconscious. So there's no other way but you took it.”
Lien Hua raised both hands in surrender. “Sorry Professor, but the book could have taken my life. And I don't want to die yet, so excuse me.” Lien Hua immediately ran away and slammed the door until it shocked Professor Hanna who sighed.

'Why am I being told to try? What does this book have to do with me?' Lien Hua grumbled inwardly as she continued walking towards her dorm, as she was about to open the dormitory door.
A black shadow suddenly flashed behind Lien Hua quickly and made her not turn the doorknob, she glanced at the quiet surroundings and walked towards the window in the hallway of the dormitory.
“What's up, Grandpa?” A man appeared behind Lien Hua, the girl glanced at him a glance before looking back at the flower garden.
“Who are you?” ask Lien Hua. “Nona Lien, I was sent Master to protect you during the mission.”
Lien Hua turned towards the man, she leaned back while folding her hands in front of her chest. “Gentleman who?”
“Tu-tuan-” Uncompleted the man's remark, Lien Hua suddenly appeared in front of him with a lightning-fast flash with a folding knife pointed right at the man's neck.
“Don't try to lie to me, or you'll be out!” whispered Lien Hua with a cold look. “Nona Lien-”
The man immediately fell to the floor, Lien Hua wiped the blood on her folding knife. He then glanced at the man and sighed.
“Kio, there is food for you.” Lien Hua walked into her dormitory, after the door closed. A small flock of birds entered through the window and ate the man's body.

The man sitting on his great chair was tapping on the back of the chair impatiently, he looked at a soldier who was standing guarding the door while looking down.
“How??”
“Sorry Your Highness, but no word from him yet.”
The man clucked in annoyance, he massaged his temples dizzy. “Let's know again! It's possible that he's not going to the girl's place!”
“Good, Your Highness.” The soldier bowed respectfully and walked away, The man let out a long sigh.

After feeling safe, Lien Hua walked towards the unguarded academy gate at all. He knitted his waist while looking at the gate.
“Nona Li, what a coincidence. You're here too?” Lien Hua cursed softly, she turned around and looked at Zhang Xue who was looking at her with a smile.
“Why are you here?” instead of answering, Lien Hua asked back. He stared at the man in front of him.
“Ahaha, happened to pass by and meet Miss here. We are destined to be.” Lien Hua screeched, he turned around and looked back at the focused gate in front of him. Zhang Xue walked up to him and stood beside him, the man stared at the gate without knowing what the girl beside him wanted to do.
Both of them were silent, no one started the conversation. Only the flapping sounds of owls and other night animals could be heard.
“Nona Li, why are we standing here?” zhang Xue muttered which Lien Hua could still hear, but the girl just kept quiet while holding her chin.
'How about, how to get out of the academy? Outside the walls must have been many guards watching!' Lien Hua thought hard, she was to the point of not realizing Zhang Xue was looking at her with a puzzled look.
“Nona Li!” whispered Zhang Xue who was trying not to make the slightest noise, but Lien Hua did not respond. The man took the initiative and touched Lien Hua's hand.
The surprised Lien Hua reflexively twisted Zhang Xue's hand and made the man instantly grimace in pain. “Why haven't you left yet?” Lien Hua let go of her hand.
Zhang Xue held onto his aching shoulder. “Miss Li, if you want to get out of the Academy secretly. Just go, the guard outside the academy is loose now.” Lien Hua frowned.
“Why do you know if I want to leave the academy secretly?” lien Hua asked full of probing, it could be that this man in front of her was spying on her.
Zhang Xue smiled thinly but meaningfully. “Our thoughts are connected, so I can tell what Miss is thinking.”
Lien Hua folded her hands in front of her chest. “Oh yes, then what am I thinking now?”
“Em, give me time to concentrate.” Zhang Xue closed his eyes and muttered as if reciting a spell.
'What exactly does this crazy guy do?' inner Lien Hua was confused, Zhang Xue opened his eyes.
“I, tau. You're thinking of me, aren't you?” zhang Xue asked with brows rising down, Lien Hua looked at him flatly. He shifted the man and opened the gate.
'Abserved? I think about it, but not because I like it. Except for being fed up and upset! Besides, I can't like him! He was one of my targets for revenge long ago!' Lien Hua sighed as she continued walking away, the wind blew and made the snow from the trees fly. When things went quiet again, Lien Hua had disappeared as if swallowed by the earth.
Zhang Xue still continued to stare at where Lien Hua had disappeared from, he flicked his hand and made someone appear behind him.
“Observate the girl, always provide information about her. And don't let him realize your presence!”
“Good, Mr.”

Lien Hua opened the door of her residence, she smiled faintly looking at Xia He who was probably exhausted to the point of falling asleep on the sofa. He slowly walked towards Juan's room as well as Xiu's.
Lien Hua opened his second room and looked at Xiu who was already soundly asleep, his forehead seemed to wrinkle when he saw Juan who woke up beside Xiu.
