Killer Reincarnation

Killer Reincarnation
Chapters 37. Wound

Lien Hua stared at the bracelet in her hand, her gaze was extremely difficult to decipher. Until the girl pulls the bracelet in her hand until it breaks.

The beads from the bracelet fell to the floor, Lien Hua stared flatly. “It's all over, mom. The bracelet that Lien Hua had always guarded had been shattered, as well as his heart and soul. Nothing remains at all, everything disappears like flying dust.”

“No, no dear!! Mom, I'll fix it again!” The Madam Minister immediately picked up the bead quickly.

“I told you before I left Minister Li's residence. The broken glass can no longer be repaired. Although it can, it will still leave a crack in there.” Lien Hua pointed towards the minister Li.

“My heart is like that broken glass, even though I forgive you. I will still not return and become your daughter again, everything has passed. And if it repeats the same thing, it will make my wounds even bigger.” Lien Hua smiled wryly.

“So, you better get out of here. Or you will know the consequences!”

“But--”

“My girl told you so you're leaving right now!!” jian said, he then turned around and took Lien Hua away.

A few warriors walked towards them and chased away the Li family and also Zhang Xue whose gaze was focused on Lien Hua, he knew the girl was crying. Crying in silence.

“Sit here, Melia.”

Lien Hua looked up. “What do you mean?” he asked with a stupid face, he had not long since judged Jian. So it should be okay if he nicks her again every once in a while.

Jian threw away his face. “Nothing, I'll call the healer.” Lien Hua gave a small nod, she looked at her wrists that were reddened by the rope from the bracelet earlier.

'Yeah, I'm like a snake in a movie I've seen. A snake that can change shape, that never forgets its grudge for life. So, should I finish off Zhang Xue?' Lien Hua leaned back and closed her eyes with an arm.

He sighed, his mind getting more complicated when reincarnated in this world of antagonism.

“Excuse me, Miss Carmelia.” Lien Hua opened her eyes, she looked at a middle-aged healer who looked down respectfully.

Lien Hua just cleared her throat, the healer asked for permission and sat down beside Lien Hua. He then checked for bruises on his hands.

“Nona, you shouldn't be wearing that bracelet. The bracelet is very tight for you so it raises a mark like this.”

“That mark will return when debutante time, its current strength will appear and soar sharply. Jian Yang, don't let that happen. Take care of Melia and always protect my sister, don't let her get hurt.”

Lien Hua tried to find the origin of the sound, but the voice echoed throughout the palace and made him not know where it came from.

“Votes, what is it??”

Jian who was leaning against the wall while watching Lien Hua from afar also heard the same voice, a very familiar voice.

'Shit! Did he use echo magic so that everything sounded throughout the palace??' Jian ran away somewhere.

Lien Hua held onto her head that was in pain, suddenly. There appeared incision wounds all over the girl's body, as if she had just scratched a sharp weapon.

Blood slowly flowed but was not noticed by Lien Hua. “N-miss Carme-”

Lien Hua shouted, her eyes perfectly rounded. It was as if something wanted to forcefully break out his heart.

Blood flowed out of his nose and mouth, shortly after. Lien Hua fell unconscious, the healer who was treating her immediately panicked.

“What's up? What happened??” jian asked who immediately ran back, the standing healer quivered in fear.

“What happened??” Jian stared intently at the healer who immediately kowtowed on the floor and begged. “I don't know anything, Your Majesty. N-nona Carmelia suddenly had an incision wound without cause. Afterwards, he shouted and blood flowed in his nose and mouth,” said the Physician trembling.

Jian sat down beside Lien Hua and touched the girl's forehead. “Call Uncle Sister Xuemin, I will bring Melia back to her room.”

The healer bowed respectfully and immediately left before the King changed his mind, Jian stood up and held Lien Hua ala bridal style.

He then headed to the girl's room, babbling softly, which he never did after the war in the palace.

“How can this happen?” asked a middle-aged man who still looked handsome, beside him was a man whose face was almost similar to that of a middle-aged man when he was young.

“I don't know, uncle. Xue's voice suddenly echoed in the palace, and after I investigated. A mercenary who did it, when I came back. Melia was unconscious like this, there were incision wounds all over her body.”

Wang Xuemin held his chin in thought. “What does this have to do with the debutant? How old is Melia now?”

“The age should have been 16 years, if it was indeed him.”

“If she is indeed Melia, then she should be going to have a birthday soon.” The middle-aged man turned around and turned his back to all of them.

“Iya right, soon red moon.  Melia's debuntante day is just around the corner, maybe that's why she feels pain due to the increasing magic energy,” Wang Xuemin said.

“So, what should we do?”

“Now, just keep an eye on him and protect him. Do not let someone aim for his life again.” both turned to look towards the middle-aged man who turned his back to the three.

“Good, Uncle/Ayahanda,” said both together.

Lien Hua opened her eyes, she woke up and saw the bandages that were clad in her hands. He is almost like a mummy.

Lien Hua was about to get up, but moved just a little she was in distress. Lien Hua opened all the bandages that covered her body.

He sighed softly and looked towards the window, the sky had turned dark.

Lien Hua stood up and walked towards the wardrobe, she picked up the robe and put on it. Lien Hua walked out from looking at the quiet surroundings.

'Sepi, tumben once. Usually in this hallway filled with passing soldiers.' Lien Hua shrugged indifferently, she then walked towards the garden behind the palace.

Lien Hua looked at the pitch-black surroundings, there was only one illumination lantern in the middle of the garden.

Lien Hua sat on one of the garden chairs and leaned back, she tightened her robe as she felt the night breeze piercing her wound.

Lien Hua smiled faintly. “Dumb base, I fell twice in the same mud because of the same person,” muttered Lien Hua while chuckling small.

“What are you doing?”
