Five years have passed since that shocking incident, the empire has begun to recover and calm down. There's nothing special.

A girl with a fire-shaped mark on her forehead is sitting on a park bench with a big smile.

“Carmelia.”

Carmelia turned her head, the smile on her face expanding even more. He stood up and approached the man who called out to him earlier.

“I thought you were so weak that you died of poison, it turns out you were pretty well yes.” Carmelia folded her hands while watching the man in front of her.

The man who was none other than Zhang Xue rubbed the head of the girl in front of him gently. “It's all because of you, if only Xue didn't help you. Maybe you will really die because of your own actions.” Zhang Xue pinched Carmelia's nose until it turned red.

Carmelia turned her back to Zhang Xue and walking towards one of the flowers, she plucked the Peony and threw it into the sky.

“I also thought I was dead.” Carmelia turned her head towards Zhang Xue with her sweet smile. “But given that I had to teach you a lesson, I didn't die.”

“Reason.”

Carmelia chuckled, she then stared sparklingly at Zhang Xue's back.

Carmelia ran towards Zhang Xue and past the man, she hugged Wang Xuemin who was wearing a stick.

“Sister, good morning.”

“Good morning, how are you feeling now?” w.a.n.g Xuemin asked as she rubbed Carmelia's hair gently, Zhang Xue screeched.

“I've been better, I should have asked. Why was my sister so desperate to help me five years ago? If you're dead, how??”

Carmelia helped Wang Xuemin to sit on the park bench.

“If you were to die that time, big brother would definitely not forgive himself. Grateful that Adrey told sister before, so sister had time to protect you.”

Carmelia sat beside Wang Xuemin, she then leaned on her brother's shoulder.

“What the fuck is this, even though I'm her lover. But he even spoiled and made out with others,” muttered Zhang Xue.

“That's why, friend. Don't just rely on one woman.” Jian embraced Zhang Xue's shoulders, the man stared at the cynical friend as well as the first love of his lover.

He immediately brushed off Jian's rough hand.

“Hahaha, are you jealous. Friend?” jian asked with a raised eyebrow, Zhang Xue clucked. He walked away and made Jian laugh even more.

But a second later, he immediately grimaced in pain. Jian turned his head and looked at Audrey who was looking at him annoyed at once angrily.

“You! I told you you were punished for not going out of the room for a day! Turns out you still dare ya.” Audrey rolled up her sleeves, she was about to pull out Jian's ears again.

“Both of you, if you want to be spoiled, don't be here! Disturbing the scenery, Cynical” Carmelia, Audrey smiles widely.

“Sorry, I'll take him in and punish him!” Audrey grabbed Jian by the ear and pulled the man in, she did not care at all for Jian who kept begging to be let go.

Carmelia chuckled little looking at the attitude of the two, she then turned her head towards the pensive Wang Xuemin.

“Kak, where is my sister-in-law's candidate? Wouldn't he be here later in the day, you better be ready to meet brother-in-law.”

Wang Xuemin smiled, he ruffled Carmelia's hair and stood up. “Sister come back first, you too don't stay here too long. I'll ask Yenni to see you later.”

Carmelia nodded, Wang Xuemin again scrambled Carmelia's hair before leaving. The girl leaned back with a thin smile that always adorned her face.

'Five years passed quickly, everything is fine now. Xia, thank you. Thank you for sacrificing your life for me, you were always there when I really needed you.' Carmelia looked up, looking at the moon that was still visible even though the sky had been blue.

“Melia! Come quickly, Juan and Xiu's horse carriage has arrived!” call Zhang Xue, Carmelia got up and walked towards him. He then took Zhang Xue's hand into the palace.

“You don't mind, Zue.” Carmelia looked at Zhang Xue's blushing face, a jaily smile rising on the girl's face.

“What's up, Zue? Your face looks flushed.” Carmelia poked Zhang Xue's cheeks with her fingers, the man threw his face the other way.

Carmelia chuckled slightly, she let go of Zhang Xue's hand and dashed a little into the palace. Zhang Xue hissed, he massaged his temple as he walked in.

'Basic, Melia. Always dared to tease me, just look at it later. I'll repay you!'

“Sister Lina, Sister Xue.”

Carmelia hugged the two gender-different teenagers, she took off her arms and looked at the two with a sweet smile.

“Juan, how is aunt?”

“Auntie is good, she takes care of Black gently,” Juan replied, Xiu gazing around the palace with a look of amazement. It had been almost three months since he had last set foot into the palace of the elder half-brother.

“Ah yes, I forgot about black. Long time no see him, how is his figure now?”

“Black is so cute and fat, he is also getting naughty and annoying. But the residence feels crowded because of the existence of Black.”

Carmelia turned her head towards Xiu, she rubbed the teenage girl's hair.

“My sweet Xiaomi is already big huh, do you already have a girlfriend?” carmelia whispered.

“Certainly have, he is very handsome and kind-hearted.” Xiu whispered.

“Ah really? I also want to see it.”

The two looked back, Audrey smiled as she formed her hand chase. “Can I come?”

Xiu and Carmelia stared at each other, a sneaky idea popping up in the minds of the two girls. “Bby, why not.”

Xiu looked at Carmelia with one blinked eye, while the girl herself nodded with a held sweet smile.

“Kak, I heard. He said if we go to the top of the highest mountain and ask for something on a starry night, then your request will be granted.”

“Really?” audrey asked believing, Xiu and Carmelia nodded together.

“True, Drey. I've also heard rumors about it, if you go there. What do you want to ask for?”

Audrey touched her chin thinking.

“Of course he wants me to love him more, right?” jian asked confidently, Audrey, Xiu and Carmelia looked at each other.

They returned to their activities without any concern for Jian who put on a pouting face.

“Hahaha, what a pity,” taunted Zhang Xue, Jian snorted. He sat down next to Wang Xuemin and ate a snack to ease his sense of unease.
