"Today in the city there's a painting exhibition of a famous painter, you want to see, don't you?"
Lusi suddenly chatted with Nurul while packing things.
"No idea, there's no ride."
"That's it, this time so we can get out, we go for a walk."
"Ehem, how are you?"
"If you don't want to, yes."
As the store employees were arguing, Dita was relaxing at home. A meeting with Fano a few days ago made him reluctant to come to the store. He was afraid to see her again.
Seeing her daughter at home made Madam Sekar curious and tried to approach her. Actually there was something that made him want to talk to Dita mumpung she was at home. Rarely does Dita have a lot of time.
Madam Sekar smiled as she approached Dita. When he was near Dita, he began to gently caress his daughter's hair there.
“What's up, baby? Tumben not yet to the store?” said Mrs Sekar gently.
He was surprised and looked at his mother.
“Again males, Mom. So I just let Nurul the same Lusi who is packing things. After all there is no emergency, kok.”
“Oh," the answer is short.
Madam Sekar sat herself beside Dita. Dita who initially fell asleep now began to correct her sitting position.
“Tumben anyway, usually you are the most diligent to the store. Most holidays are only Fridays, besides you are more concerned with the store than your life.”
Dita took off the book she was reading and placed it slowly on the table. Staring strangely at his mother who seemed to be asking him an important conversation.
“What's wrong with my life? Isn't everything okay.”
Madam Sekar swallowed her saliva with great difficulty. He really didn't know how to start that conversation. He knew that Dita was a little sensitive when she talked to a wedding.
“Why silence, Mom? What is this about a remarriage plan?”
Although he knew the direction of the conversation, Dita wanted to make sure he came back. At least hear it straight from his mother's mouth.
Madam Sekar's lips instantly shook, wanting her to say a word, but held back. He wanted honesty from his mother. However, it seemed like his conjecture was indeed true, moreover he was like a groggy.
“Bu-not so he meant, but Mom and Dad just wanted to invite you to visit your father's business partner's family.”
Dita looked strangely at her mother.
“Then afterwards definitely discuss arranged marriage and then remarriage, right?”
Madam Sekar immediately looked over, her gaze stiff.
Dita's chest rumbled violently, there was a sense of tightness that made it even harder to breathe this time. He was not out of thought with the wishes of his parents who always forced himself to marry. Dita smiled wryly.
“Already, Mom. I know the direction of this conversation.”
Though it was clear that there was something inside him that made him unable to get married, but they seemed to cover it up and make it look like there was nothing.
Madam Sekar was still silent, she did not say anything at all. To no avail Dita had to talk back.
“Then if not a matchmaking for what you guys are taking me?”
Madam Sekar sighed slowly. Set the tone of his speech so that it does not appear that he is covering something.
“We are a family, of course we have to go together.”
Dita's lips quivered, it felt like she wanted to cry at that moment. But he kept it in check. The lies created by his mother further distanced the mother and child.
“Together but never thought of my feelings, is that what a family is called?”
Dita smiled bitterly. Meanwhile Madam Sekar lowered her gaze. He did not expect that his speech just now made the distance between the mother and the child even more distant.
But he only tries the best. Whether forgotten or not but Dita can not make both parents aware.
“If my life continues like this, I'd better just go,” he murmured.
Dita stepped away from there, leaving Madam Sekar who was silent in her place.
Dita prefers to lock herself in the room. He covered his whole body with a thick blanket and cried as much as there.
Feeling that something was wrong Dita peeked for a while, but the state of her room seemed normal. He had just entered the room, but it felt strange. The mirror he used to decorate himself with seemed to show another shadow.
The shadow was staring intently at him, but as he looked there was no one.
“It looks like I'm thinking too much?” muttered.
Though it is true, the figure who used to kill Dita's husband is in Dita's room. He was watching Dita from the mirror. However, Dita could not see it.
"Party of my heart, you are so beautiful, wait for the time to come then you will be mine, ha ha ha .." she murmured from the mirror.
