Today Sam has just returned from abroad, intending to meet his childhood best friend Dita. As a child, Dita did have a male neighbor who often played with Dita, he was Samuel or more often called Sam.
After elementary school, Sam was taken away by his parents abroad because his father got a scholarship, so inevitably his son and wife were taken away. Since then Sam and Dita have been separated.
In the car, Sam keeps smiling at the thought of his encounter with Dita. He can't wait to surprise her. Therefore, after getting off the plane he intends to directly come to Rumah Dita.
He is currently in college, so he decided to go back to Indonesia. The thing he misses most about Indonesia is Dita.
"How are you doing now? Is it still as tomboyish as it used to be?" said Sam while looking at the expanse of rice fields around the highway he had passed.
Sometimes he smiles happily, imagining Dita.
"Will she grow up beautiful? Ah, it feels impatient," he murmured.
"Sir, speed up the car, yes," Sam told the driver.
"Good, Sir."
The pace of vehicles is now starting to increase, lucky the streets have looked quiet and deserted, so that their journey smoothly without obstacles.
The curvature of the smile never slipped from his face. Dita's beautiful shadow since childhood makes Sam constantly imagine himself. However, Sam does not know if Dita and her family have moved house.
Meanwhile, Dita is still looking for a way to save Juna. He felt that Juna was like that because of him. Therefore he will help restore Juna no matter how.
"I have to help Juna, however it can't be like this. All this happened because of my presence."
He kept looking at his backyard. The afternoon breeze that greeted his skin was completely disregarded. Until when her mother came, Dita didn't know.
"We, what is this afternoon of daydreaming by the window? Girls aren't that nice."
When Dita turned her head, she smiled wryly as she responded to her mother's words. Ever since Juna got sick, Dita's life has been a bit chaotic.
When on campus, Dita is less focused on the material delivered by lecturers. When at home, Dita mostly daydreams. In fact, he is looking for a solution to the problem that is happening right now. Madam Sekar holds the shoulder of Dita, her daughter.
Dita nodded, then she stopped her steps, Dita sat back down at her original place. He looked at his mother's face.
"Will Juna experience the same thing as Mas Vishnu?"
"Okay, Nduk, the important thing is that we don't have to think badly like that. Let's just pray that Juna is okay. I honestly don't have the heart if Juna gets like this."
Not wanting to look weak, Madam Sekar strengthened her daughter's heart. He did not want to see the condition of Dita will fate as a woman who was cursed, because according to Mrs Sekar, Dita never get a curse. She is very special compared to the other girls.
"That's it, we better get in!"
Dita nodded and followed her mother's steps. The cold mountain breeze suddenly greeted him.
The night has changed now. The golden orange light that was painted on the western horizon had already disappeared replaced with the darkness of the night. The sound of owls faintly rang out from Dita's room, as well as the chanting of crickets.
After dinner, Dita locked herself in her room. He closed his eyes, but could not. A gust of wind from the window blew on Dita's nape. Provide a calm for anyone who enjoys it, but not with Dita. Dita immediately closed her bedroom window.
Suddenly Dita felt like urinating, she got out of bed and came out of her room. The atmosphere of the house that night felt colder than usual, so that Dita could not resist the feeling of wanting to urinate.
Shortly after coming out of the toilet, Dita's legs felt heavy. Even so, Dita still walked even though she was a little limped.
"Why else? No one's feelings?" he said strengthen his heart.
Then Dita began to recite the prayer, hoping that the creature that came to disturb, immediately left. Sure enough, a moment later his steps returned to normal.
"Hm, there's-there," he said in his heart.
However, in the middle of the trip, fragrant cantile flowers and jasmine again smelled. His scent grew sharper as he returned to his room. Dita's room window that was originally closed is now even wide open. Up from Dita's room there was a full moon.
Dita wanted to see it, but her steps stopped when she saw the black shadow in the gazebo behind the house.
