Chaptre 234. Despair
On his way, Ling Tian had already met the sixth level Spirit Beast several times in the mountains, forests as well as valleys it passed through. All of them were Spirit Beasts whose cultivation level was equivalent to a first stage cultivator of the Sky Star. Ling Tian killed all of them and put them into the Space Ring.
After a month, Ling Tian finally reached the northern region of the Sky Intersection Continent. There, he did not feel the slightest trace of the strands of energy released by the Spatial Tunnel.
Ling Tian went around for a while to further confirm that the Spatial Tunnel did not appear in that place. After feeling confident, he could only sigh deeply to expel the grievances that were in his heart.
Ling Tian who did not want to waste his time in the slightest, immediately flew darting towards the western part of the Sky Intersection Continent.
Along the way, Ling Tian often saw some cultivators who were also flying in the air. However, he ignored all of them and continued to advance towards his destination.

According to the entire map of the Sky Intersection Continent region, Ling Tian knew that this abyss was also called the Despairing Gorge. From the very first moment, Ling Tian did not pay much attention to it. He thought that people were just giving random names to the abyss.
However, when he looked at it directly at the abyss below him at the moment, Ling Tian finally knew that the abyss was not as simple as what he had in mind.

Before entering into the abyss, Ling Tian once again checked the circumstances around him. But he did not find any formation blocking his spiritual senses. This made Ling Tian even more curious to know what exactly was inside the Despair Cliff.
After confirming it clearly, Ling Tian finally decided to enter into the abyss. However, when he had just passed through the mouth of the abyss, Ling Tian felt a gravitational force that was enough to exert pressure on his body.
He tried to climb back up and out of the abyss. However, it was as if an invisible and extremely strong barrier wall was blocking its exit.
Ling Tian unleashed a casual punch towards the barrier wall to see what the reaction would be next. When the Qi energy emanating from his punch touched the barrier wall, an energy ripple instantly appeared in front of Ling Tian and sucked out the Qi energy from his punch attack.

But what happened is still the same as before. The Qi energy from Ling Tian's punch instantly disappeared being swallowed by that barrier wall. Without a second thought, Ling Tian directly used all of his strength on his Dragon God Punch Technique to attack the barrier wall that was in front of him.

Once again there was an explosive sound when Ling Tian's Qi energy came into contact with the barrier wall. An energy ripple greater than before immediately appeared before Ling Tian. However, this did not cause the barrier wall to be destroyed. Because, all the Qi energy that came from his punch was absorbed by the barrier wall.
"Reph ... Looks like I'll be trapped inside this ravine if that barrier wall I can't break." Ling Tian nodded in a complaining tone as he circulated his spiritual senses to examine the situation within the abyss, then continued, "Hmmm ... What a strange place. There is not a single thing or life form that I can feel here. Could it be that the depth of this abyss has exceeded the reach of my spiritual senses?"

Time keeps turning fast. Without feeling it had been six months Ling Tian had been inside the Despair of Despair. His face now looked very gloomy. I don't know how many Restoration Pills he swallowed to recover his Qi energy that had been depleted, as he traveled down the Despair Chasm.
His confidence had completely collapsed when faced with his current situation. Although he had already used his full speed and also with the help of the gravitational pressure coming from within the abyss, but Ling Tian had not yet reached the bottom of the abyss despite having spent six months.
Even his spiritual senses had yet to sense any signs that he was about to reach the bottom of the Despair. Everything is still the same as before.
"Hwdnt ... Perhaps this was what the people in the Sky Crossing Continent meant, until they named this abyss the Despair of Despair. I really feel desperate now," Ling Tian lamented as he let out a heavy sigh.
