Chaptre 75. Black Meteor
Ling Tian continued to look around. The atmosphere of the Thousand Flowers city was extremely crowded with high-level cultivators passing by.
Their cultivation was mostly of the Gold Star level, and a portion of it was at the Diamond Star level. Such a sight would not be found in a lower region like the Jia Empire.
Ling Tian looked at the average cultivation of the servants and the shopkeepers had been at the first stage of the Golden Star. The difference is very much with the population in the lower region.
"Hmmm.. Why do you keep following me..?" Ling Tian turned his head towards the teenager walking behind him.
"Bad.. Earlier introduce my name Xiao Jun, just call me Jun. I'm following you because I don't know where to go either. This town is so foreign to me." The teenager said slowly.
"Don't call me sir, our ages aren't much different. Just call me Ling Tian."
"I dare not, sir..! Your ability is very strong even though you look very young, and it might have been on par with the high level cultivators who were here."
"Bad.. It's up to you. By the way, what is the name of this Continent..?" Ling Tian asked slowly.
Hearing Ling Tian's question, Xiao Jun was stunned for a moment. He had thought Ling Tian was from this place as well. "This is the Sky Continent of the middle level Master..!"
"Hmmm.. So.yeah..! Since you also don't know where to go, let's go together to find a place to stay." Ling Tian then turned around then walked back while continuing to look at the situation inside the Thousand Flowers city.
A while later, Ling Tian saw an extremely large and luxurious inn. He walked towards the inn followed by Xiao Jun who had been directly behind him.
After arriving, Ling Tian immediately went to the cashier's place to reserve an inn room.
"Is there an empty room for both of us." Ling Tuan asked the female cashier who had noticed him as she walked into the inn.
"There is still a Master..! Will you book 1 room only..?" The cashier spoke softly to Ling Tian.
"I'll book 2 rooms for both of us. How much would it cost if I took those 2 rooms..?" Said Ling Tian with a smile.
"For ordinary rooms, the rate is 10 thousand gold coins a night. For the middle room, 30 thousand gold coins a night. And for the VIP rooms, 50 thousand gold coins a night. Which room will you choose..? We'll get it ready soon." The cashier smiled to Ling Tian as well.
"Huhuhh.. It costs a lot. If things continue like this, maybe soon I'll be poor." Ling Tian cursed in his heart.
"Bad.. I'll just book 1 regular room. We are both very poor at the moment and would not be able to afford those 2 rooms if we stayed here too long." Ling Tian said in a complaining tone.
"All right, sir..! We'll get it ready for you soon." The cashier said then called one of the maids to prepare a room for Ling Tian.
After paying the cost of staying for 10 nights, Ling Tian and Xiao Jun walked up to the maid who would take them to the room that Ling Tian had booked.
Arriving at the room, Ling Tian immediately walked in and lay down on the bed. It had been days that he had flown in the air, and now he wanted to rest while calming his mind.
Although he did not feel tired in the slightest, but his mind was always worried about Ling Han and the others. As for Xiao Jun, he immediately sat cross-legged in the corner of the room and closed his eyes.
Sensing that Xiao Jun was sitting cultivating, Ling Tian simply smiled and closed his eyes as well to continue to calm his mind.
Time passed quickly, without feeling the night had come. Ling Tian immediately got up from his bed and saw that Xiao Jun was still continuing to cultivate.
Ling Tian walked out of his room with slow steps so as not to disturb Xiao Jun. He wanted to enjoy the night view in the Thousand Flowers city.
Ling Tian then walked leisurely towards the crowd and joined the activities of the people passing by. Due to Ling Tian's seemingly ordinary appearance, he wasn't a concern for those people.
Ling Tian walked into some shops selling treasures and heirloom weapons, to see if there was anything he could buy. But he had not found anything that caught his attention. He wanted to look for materials of excellent quality to make his own Pambakanya weapon.
Ling Tian had had the Rainbow Wurtzite on him. He just added another material that could satisfy his desire, in order to make a very powerful heirloom weapon.
Ling Tian continued to continue going into the other few stores, but the results remained the same. As Ling Tian walked out and was about to proceed into the other store again, he saw a small, ordinary-looking shop and there was not a single customer in the store.
Curious, Ling Tian immediately walked towards the small shop. He saw a middle-aged man sitting casually at the checkout stand like he didn't care if any customers would enter his shop or not.
"Excuse me Uncle..! I want to see the stuff that's here." Said Ling Tian calmly.
"Please sir..! But the stuff you're looking for might not be here, because our store only sells ordinary things." The middle-aged man smiled kindly to Ling Tian.
"Hehehe.. It's okay Uncle. If the item I'm looking for isn't here, I'll try it again somewhere else." Ling Tian let out a soft laugh and started walking to see the objects on display in the shop.
After touring for a few minutes, Ling Tian had seen all the objects on display in the shop. And as the middle-aged man said, there was indeed not a single thing he was looking for there.
"Thank you Uncle..! It's like what Uncle said, there's nothing I'm looking for here. Then, excuse me, Uncle." Ling Tian said as he smiled his trademark smile.
"Yes Sir..!" The middle-aged man smiled to Ling Tian as well.
When Ling Tian walked over and was about to leave, he suddenly stopped his footsteps. His eyes immediately stared at a stone the size of his fist that was a buffer table in the corner of the shop room.
Ling Tian quickly approached the stone and examined it. He finally found out what the stone was.
"Bad.. This was an extremely rare Black Meteor Stone from the era of the Gods..!" Ling Tian nodded in surprise.
"Uncle..! Is this stone for sale..?" Said Ling Tian casually so that the middle-aged man did not suspect him.
"Haha.. It's just an ordinary stone, sir..! If you want it, please take it." Despite feeling strange, the middle-aged man only laughed hearing a question from Ling Tian.
"Hehehe.. Thank you Uncle..! Ling Tian laughed softly, then picked up the stone which eventually made the table wobble from losing its buffer.
The middle-aged man immediately used his Qi energy to restrain the table from becoming slanted, then said to Ling Tian.. "Let it be, sir..! I'll replace it with another stone."
"Okay Uncle, I'll go first to the other store to find the stuff I need." Said Ling Tian in his casual tone.
