Chapters 57. The Delayed Meeting
"Wouuww.. So big..!" Ling Tian was astonished to see that enormous palace building.
"Let's go inside to see my father." Jia Xiulan immediately invited Ling Tian and the others into the palace.
"Hmmm.. All right..!" Ling Tian and the others followed Jia Xiulan while looking left and right in awe.
Jia Xiulan's bodyguards had disappeared ever since they were about to enter the palace. He returned to the Emperor's side because he was actually the Emperor's bodyguard assigned to escort Jia Xiulan to the Blue Moon city.
"Bad.. Maybe later I'll make my house bigger and more beautiful than this palace." Ling Tian.
After walking for a few minutes, they finally arrived before the door of the palace hall. Ling Tian from the very beginning had sensed that many people were gathering inside the hall. He and the others continued to follow Jia Xiulan into that hall.
"Dad.. I'm back." Jia Xiulan lowered his head to pay his respects to the Emperor. He did not call his father His Majesty because he had been used to it since childhood, and he also felt that the title would make their relationship distant.

"Dad.. These are my friends from the Blue Moon city." Jia Xiulan introduced Ling Tian and the others.
"This is Ling Tian. This one is Ling Han, Ling Tian's brother. This one was Su Mei, and the one next to her was Lin Yue. While this one is Uncle Zhang Xuan." Jia Xiulan said as she pointed towards them one by one.

Finally the Emperor found out that the young man who had just looked down was Ling Tian. The people earlier who were about to attack Ling Tian immediately fell silent.
They all directly examined him from top to bottom, then they shook their heads at not finding anything special from Ling Tian.
"Hmmm.. I heard rumors that there was a young man named Ling Tian who was nicknamed Monster by the residents. Is Ling Tian the one in question you..?" The emperor asked in his calm tone.
"Bad.. It was only a rumor of His Majesty, and His Majesty knew for himself that rumors were always exaggerating. Maybe it wasn't me they meant because Ling Tian's name was pretty much in this Sky Continent." Ling Tian replied casually.
"But Ling Tian is rumored to be Ling Tian from the Blue Moon city, and you happen to be from there as well." The emperor asked.
"Bad.. I'm not actually from the Blue Moon city, it's just my place to stay for a while. I'm from Leaf Fragrance city, Your Majesty..!" Ling Tian smiled calmly.
"Is that Xiu'er..?" The Emperor turned towards Jia Xiulan.
"That's right Dad..!" Jia Xiulan did not explain everything to the Emperor as there were still many people inside the hall.
"Hmmm.. All right..! Take your friends to the living room first, because I still have important things to talk about with the other officials." The emperor said slowly.
"Thank you, Your Majesty..! But it's not necessary, we'll get out of here soon. So we all pay our respects to His Majesty." Ling Tian lowered his head again to pay his respects to the Emperor.
"Supply..! How dare you refuse the Emperor's order..! I don't care anymore whether you're a Monster or not..!" A middle-aged man immediately stood scolding Ling Tian.
"Haha.. I'm surprised at all of you. From the very beginning you kept shouting at me loudly in front of the Emperor. Is this what you often refer to as the etiquette of a noble..?"
"The emperor is not angry with me, but why are you angry..? Is your office higher than that of the Emperor so that you all dare to precede him..?"
"And one more thing you need to know, the Emperor never ordered us, but he only had the Princess take us to the parlour." Ling Tian said as he shrugged his shoulders, then laughed softly.

"All right, Your Majesty..! Since there's nothing else, then we'll be gone soon." Ling Tian then lowered his head once more, then he turned around and walked out the palace hall in the followed by Ling Han, Lin Yue and Su Mei.
The Emperor's adviser quickly stood up, then rushed over to the Emperor and whispered something to him. The Emperor's body gasped at what the advisor whispered to him.
"This meeting will be postponed and we will continue again tomorrow." The Emperor said resolutely, then turned his head towards Jia Xiulan and signaled to him to stop Ling Tian.
Jia Xiulan immediately nodded as she understood the intent of her father.
"Ling Tian's.. Waita..!" Jia Xiulan dashed towards Ling Tian who had been outside the door of the hall.
"What's the matter Princess..?" Ling Tian turned around and looked in surprise at Jia Xiulan who was running while lifting her lower dress to reveal her extremely white calf like the jade.
Jia Xiulan's face immediately reddened when she realized that Ling Tian was paying attention to her calves. She immediately lowered her dress and walked slowly towards Ling Tian.
"My father wants to talk to you in private." Jia Xiulan said very slowly.
Although his voice was very slow, but it sounded very clear in the ears of the officials who were all high-level cultivators.
"Bad.. Was the Emperor delaying this all-important meeting just because he wanted to talk to Ling Tian." This is what the officials thought.
"Ooo.. If the Emperor wants to talk to me, I'll listen to him." Ling Tian subconsciously raised his hand and ruffled Jia Xiulan's hair.

While Su Mei had pointed the tip of her sword at Jia Xiulan's neck. About 1 centimeter more will hit his throat.
"Bad.. What are you guys doing..? Mei 'er.. Immediately put down your sword, it's very dangerous..!" Ling Tian said in a sad tone.
"Mm.." Su Mei simply nodded then immediately put her sword back into her Space Ring for fear that Ling Tian would scold her.
"Huhuhh.. Nothing beats the instincts of women in this world, for they are too sensitive to the things of feeling." Ling Han let out a long sigh seeing all of that.
"This is what he said... Aahh..! I don't know what the right name is to say either." Zhang Xuan went in.
