The plane landed at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) II.
Mammangmurka immediately rushed out of the plane and disappeared.
While gnawing at the suitcase bag she was carrying, Rumi closed her eyes and took a deep breath. While Syam is busy taking selfies with his smartphone and photographing interesting things he sees. Mom seemed ordinary.
"Chicken, your phone memory will be full, you know, " said Rumi. " You were photographing constantly. Just arrived at the airport."
Sham grinned again.Rumi saw a man carrying a sign bearing his name.
"Well, that's, " said Rumi. They approached the man and regretted it.
"Are you Rumi Satria Pramana? " ask the man in Malay. " From Indonesia? "
"Yes, right, " replied Rumi. "This is my mother and my twin brother."
"I Badrol. Just call me Brother Badrol. "
"OK, " said Rumi.
" In Malaysia, make no mistake" said Abang Badrol. "Sister's call is specific to a man and Sister's call is specific to a woman."
"Oh so?" Mother responded. "Rumi, you have to learn Malay so as not to misunderstand."
"Okay, ma'am," replied Rumi.
"Ah, no need to learn. Later also Rumi is fluent by itself," Syam commented.
"Okay, we're going to Kuala Lumpur on the ERL huh? " said Brother Badrol. "If by train from here, it could be more than two hours because it's stuck in traffic."
"ERLS? Whatisit? " Sham asked.
"Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd, " replied Abang Badrol. It is a kind of fast train that connects Kuala Lumpur International airport in Sepang with Kuala Lumpur. Just 30 minutes."
"So said Abang Badrol, if the train ride can be more than two hours? "asked Rumi. "Is it really like that?"
Badrol's brother laughed again. "In Malaysia, there are two types of trains. The first, the railway meaning 'train', is in English. The second, a train that means car or car yes in Indonesian.
Spontaneous Sham laugh. Rumi elbowed. "Mom... "
"Sorry, sorry, great Lord Rumi," Syam still held back a laugh.
"Come, " said Brother Badrol. Badrol's brother went to the ERL counter and bought tickets for four people. It costs 35 Malaysian Ringgit per person.
"Wow, cool, "Syam was stunned to see the beauty of the fast train. Comfortable seat. Cold air conditioning. Train door that can open and close automatically. "Dreams can I ride a train this good? "
Rumi nudged her twin brother again.
From inside the fast train, the view of oil palm trees and urban alternated. Trains move nimbly through Bandar Tasik Selatan, Salak Tinggi, Putrajaya, and arrive at the last station, Kuala Lumpur Sentral or KL central.
There was an announcement made by a woman in both Malaysian and English:
"Next station.... KL central.... The next station... Central KL.... Please watch your step.... "
"Well, we have arrived in Kuala Lumpur" said Abang Badrol.
They all disembark at the central Kuala Lumpur Station or KL Sentral. KL Sentral Station does not look like a train station, but more like a giant shopping center, with a variety of shops and international-class restaurants.
" All of you wait here for a moment, " said Brother Badrol. "I'm going to get a car."
Rumi nodded.
Syam suddenly laughed chuckling at the writing in a fast food restaurant. This time, Rumi laughed. Mom laughed too.
BUY FOOD, FREE DRINKS
"It's funny in Malaysian, huh, Mi?" sham.
" What does it mean to buy free food to drink?"
"I don't know either, Sham," replied Rumi. "He.ha.ha"
"Maybe it means that if we eat there, we do not need to drink? " Mom answered.
"Well, we can die of thirst" said Sham.
"A strange eating house."
"Let's just ask Badrol's brother, " said Rumi.
Not long after, they were already inside a luxurious car. Badrol's brother was driving it.
"Free means free. No need to pay, "Abang Badrol explained. " Free in Indonesian. That is, if you buy food at the restaurant, you do not have to pay for the drink. "
"Ooh so, "said Rumi, Sham, and Mother simultaneously.
"If in Indonesia, free means useless, "sayam said.
Badrol's brother scrunched his forehead while smiling.
The car drove through the congested streets of Kuala Lumpur, then past KLCC on Ampang Road, where the Petronas Twin Towers are located.
"Well, look at that, " said Brother Badrol. "Tower of the Petronas twins"
"Wow, " said Rumi. "It's so good."
"Cool, " said Sham.
"Said Mr. Johan, he will take you all around the city of Kuala Lumpur. Maybe tomorrow."
"Ashiiikkk," said Syam and Rumi simultaneously.
The car stopped at a luxury apartment. Some apartment officials helped carry luggage.
Syam looked up, observing the towering apartment building.
"What are you doing, Sham? " Rumi again patted her twin sister's shoulder. " Want to try to calculate the number of levels of this building? Very less work. Haha."
They both laughed.
"No, Mi. I can't believe you're going to live in this luxury apartment."
Rumi smiled.
"Let's go in, Sham."
Syam.
