Light Warriors
Section 7

The school bell rang.  The students hurriedly entered the classroom.

The first lesson is physics.  Mr. Suyadi, the guardian of the twelfth grade of IPA two, Rumi's class, started writing formulas on the blackboard to be solved by the students who were still half sleepy.

Rumi tried to pay attention to Pak Suyadi's explanation, even though he had understood it.  In fact, he found a formula that was faster than what his physics teacher described.

However, again Teja told Rumi not to show it to anyone.  He always pretended to be stupid.

The sound of the classroom door opening.  A student with a lackluster look on his face, with his footsteps dragged in, entered. Jack.  Students who are usually quite respected in school.

"You're late, Jak, " said Mr. Suyadi.

"I'm sorry, sir, I woke up late. "

"You shouldn't be allowed to go to class, " said Mr. Suyadi.  "But today, you I'm sorry.  Just don't repeat it again. "

"Okay, sir, " replied Jaka.

Jaka also walked through a row of benches, to an empty bench next to Rumi. Jaka occupied that empty bench.  Of course this surprised the other students, not least Rumi.

The students whispered to each other about that unusual Jaka.

"Mi, I can sit here right? " ask Jaka.

Rumi nodded, "Hmm.  "

"thank you. "

For a few minutes, they kept quiet.  Rumi was confused by this strange sight.  Usually, let alone sitting next to Rumi, talking to Rumi alone Jaka did not want to linger.  Fearful of his wi-waits falls if he hangs out with weak and poor students like Rumi.

"Mi, where did Mr. Suyadi explain it? " ask Jaka.  "Can I borrow your notebook? Also notebooks of other subjects.  I've missed a lot of subjects as long as I'm not in school."

Rumi smiled, "Borrow all you want, Jak. "

"Thank you, Mi. Later, I'll buy you a meal in the cafeteria.  Eat as you please."

"It doesn't have to be like that, Jak," Rumi said. " I'm sincere."

"By the way, thank you so much for the fruits and snacks that yesterday, "Jaka smiled.  "I spent it all last night. "

"Huh? Everything been? " Rumi was surprised.

"Yes, everybody. I'm so hungry.  Both my parents left late at night and forgot to leave food in the fridge.  I feel so lazy to buy food outside. Thank goodness you and Sham came with food.  "

Rumi smiled.

"Mi, I'm sorry for all my behavior all this time."

Jaka hugged Rumi's shoulder.  "Yes, Mi. Its nothing. "

Of course Jaka's attitude is suddenly good to the "Sleeping Professor" it becomes a warm conversation throughout the school.

They all wonder.  What happened to Jaka?  How did it suddenly get weird? Was he struck by lightning, until his memory suddenly changed?

Jaka doesn't care about any of that.  He follows Rumi wherever Rumi goes, even though Rumi feels uncomfortable.

Rumi is more pleased alone, except together with Sham.  Jaka embraces Rumi's shoulder and invites her to eat in the school cafeteria.

Koko, Anjar, Irwan and Anto, Jaka's friends who beat up Rumi were seen sitting in the cafeteria and talking about their "big boss" oddities.  They gasped in shock when Jaka and Rumi came.  Jaka immediately kicked the table.

"How are you all? " ask Jaka.

"B. well, boss, "said Koko.  Anjar and Anto laughed.

"Halo Prof.., "Koko's release would call Rumi the Professor of Sleep.  However, he stopped because he was afraid of Jaka.  "Hello Rumi's..... "

"From now on, anyone who dares to mess with Rumi will come face to face with me, " said Jaka. "Including those who dare to call him Professor of sleep or any other epithet."

"Oh. well, good boss, "said them simultaneously.

Since Jaka made peace with Rumi, he did not feel chased by fire anymore.  His mind became calmer.  There were also no more students who dared to disturb Rumi at school.

However, even though the two of them are best friends, Rumi still chooses to be alone in the library every hour of rest.  He is more engrossed in dialogue with Teja and the books in the library, rather than joking around with Jaka, Koko, Irwan, Anjar, and Anto.  Jaka also cursed it.

"Do you trust me now? " Tech asked.

Rumi nodded.

"I've always believed in you.  You always give me the right answers and solutions every time I need them. You also helped me find quick formulas of physics and chemistry that no one else knew about.  You know a lot about the secrets of the Universe.  So, there's no reason for me not to trust you. "

"However, I'm sorry, I don't always immediately give you help or answers. I also have to give you a hurdle before giving you a solution.  I want you to mature and grow through obstacles. "

Rumi nodded.

"Therefore, I did not help you when you were beaten by Jaka and his friends, even if I could if I wanted to.  I want you to learn from that suffering. "

"Why?  What can I learn from suffering? "

"Any rock at the bottom of the ocean of the human ego will be smashed with the power of love and forgiveness. And you have proven it with your own experience.  A hardened Jaka who is hostile to you, now turns to be your best friend when you give him love and forgiveness. Now, you know why I always forbid you to retaliate against anyone who hurts you? "

Rumi nodded.  He opened his eyes and Teja disappeared.
