Section 24

I don't know, it's a coincidence or it's a sign from Him.

Rumi's foster parents' house is on the eleventh floor and numbered one hundred and eleven, the same as Rumi and Sham's birth date and time.

A fairly luxurious residence, located in the center of Kuala Lumpur.  Right from his balcony window, the Petronas Twin Towers are clearly visible.  It will look very beautiful at night.

A man of about fifty-four with his wife welcomed Rumi and her family warmly. This is Mr. Syed Johan and Mrs Siti Norima.

Mom cheers them both. Rumi and Syam took turns kissing the couple's hands.

"Please sit down, " said Mr Johan in Malaysian. "Not to be ashamed. Consider it your own home."

"Thank you, " answered Mom.

Mr. Johan looked at Rumi and Sham with a little confusion."Well, your faces are similar. "

Everyone laughs.

"My name is Rumi, Mr, "Rumi introduced herself.

"And my name is Sham."

"You're all handsome huh, "Mr Norima praised.  "Your names are like Sufi poets. Have you ever heard of Jalaludin Rumi and Syam Tabrizi? "

Rumi and Sham shook their heads.

"Rumi is a famous poet from Konya, Turkey" said Mrs Norima." Sham Tabrizi is Rumi's spiritual teacher. Rumi was in love with her teacher. Wherever they go, they are always together .

Because of Sham Tabrizi, Rumi knew his love for God. But tragically, it is said that Syam disappeared, some say killed by Rumi's students who do not like the closeness of the two of them.

Rumi lost her teacher. Therefore, Rumi created a spinning dance and wrote a lot in memory of her beloved teacher."

Mom smiled. "I used to read Jalaludin Rumi's poems."

"Oh, I see, " said Miss Norima. It's fitting that mom name them both for mom's twins."

"I've known it all" said Mr. Johan."What you have done in Indonesia. Mr. David told me everything."

"David's hate? and his wife, Mrs Hanizah? " Rumy asked.  " How are the two of them? "

"Thank God, they are both healthy, " replied Miss Norima.

"Me and Mr. David have been friends for a long time" Johan said.  "When we were small, we were close to each other. And now, we are fighting together in the Charity organization.

we educate young men and women to do good for humanity.

There have been many children like you from all over the world who started from a bad luck, poor, and not going to school.

However, because there is a strong intention to help others and to do service for all human beings, we are willing to help them. Get them to college level. Today, many of them have their fate changed for the better.

In addition to assistance from many countries around the world, we also get funding assistance from our members around the world."

"Well, that's amazing, "Mom responded. "

"Rubber," said Mr. Johan. " Our organization has also helped many children who were victims of the war in Vietnam and victims of genocide in Cambodia during the Pol Pot regime, 1975-1979.

If I don't remember it wrong, then Mr. David and I were 17 years old.

We've been to Cambodian refugee camps on the border with Cambodia and Thailand.

Sniped once that time. Often at night, there is an explosion.

We are also helping victims of massacres in Bosnia, Rwanda, and in the Middle East. The tsunami in Aceh and Thailand in 2004.

We provide a lot of assistance in the form of foodstuffs, medicines, also find foster parents for children whose parents both died due to the natural disaster.

Many of them lost their families, property, residences. Some were injured and maimed by bomb blasts and firearms.

Now, thank God, many of those whose lives have succeeded. Someone is an entrepreneur. Some are working for humanity with our organization."

"What do you want to drink? " Mr Norima asked.

"Ah, no need to bother, Mum, "sayam."Just white water. "

"Nor, just make them ginger tea, " said Mr. Johan to his wife.

"All right, " replied Miss Norima.

"Jahe if in Indonesian," Mr. Johan replied. "We call it ginger."

"Oh, I see, " answered Mom.

"Mi, in Malaysia there are many universities" said Mr Johan. "Try to think about what field of study you want to take. Choose what your talents and interests are."

Mr. Johan took some Malaysian university brochures in the desk drawer and gave them to Rumi.

"I want to go into science" replied Rumi.

"Ah, then, you can take a lecture in SMEs. The National University of Malaysia. Best that. "

"You spell out your choice, Mi, " said Mother.  "Don't choose the wrong one. "

"Yes Ma'am, " replied Rumi.  "I really want to explore science."

"That's good, Mi" said Sham.  "I'm sure Mi, you will become a successful and famous professor after graduation. "

"Amen."

Ms. Norima served them ginger tea.  Sham hastily sipped him until half was left. Rumi nudged him again.

"Hopey huh? " whispered Rumi." Slow down if you drink.Shame. "

Syam laughed loudly." Sorry, sorry, Mr. Rumi."

Miss Norima smiled. "Hows it?  Fresh not Malaysian ginger tea? "

"That's very fresh, " replied Sham.

"By the way, Mr and Mrs are alone? " ask Mom.

"Yes, " replied Mr. Johan." We are used to living alone. We don't have a child. "

"Therefore, we are happy if Rumi stays here with us" Ms. Norima responded.

Rumi smiled.

"We are also happy if Mother and Sham visit here often" Johan said.  "Suppose this is your own home."

"Thank you, Mr, " replied Sham.

"For now, Syam must finish secondary school in Indonesia first" Johan said. "After that, you can follow Rumi to study in Malaysia."

"Thank you, Mr" Sham replied." I chose to continue my education in Indonesia. "

"Lho, why? " ask Miss Norima.

"If I go to college abroad, who will take care of Mom? " said Sham. "So, let it be represented by Rumi alone. "

Syam looked at his twin brother's face and smiled at him.  I was amazed to hear his son's words.

"Syam, if you want, I don't mind living alone, " said Mother.

"No, ma'am, " replied Sham.  "I want to be with my mom in Surabaya. It's my decision."

"Thank you Sham, " said Rumi .

Mr. Johan's smartphone rang.  Mr. Johan answered his phone.

"OK, okay, "he said.  "AT seven, huh? "

Mr. Johan hung up.

"From Mr. David. He wants to take us to dinner at KLCC. At seven o'clock."

Mr. Johan glanced at the wall clock in his living room. "It's still four in the afternoon.we still have three hours. Well, there's time for you to rest. We have three rooms in this house. One room we occupy. Two more rooms are empty."

"Well, Mr, " said Rumi.

"One room can be occupied by your mother" Johan said. "One more room for Rumi and Sham. You guys don't mind sleeping together? "

"It's okay, sir," replied Sham. "we used to sleep together anyway"

"All right," said Mr. Johan.
