35. Erik's Birthday (Part 3)

Yuana refocused as there was still one song to sing at the closing ceremony.

They have passed various interesting events presented, and are now at the end of the event. At the closing ceremony, Yuana and her friends will close the show by performing one song belonging to Raisa: Prayer and Hope.

This song is very deep meaning, and only understood by those who really live it.

Yuana is very passionate about the song sung and even she brings it very well more than the original singer because Yuana sings it with her own version.

Erik looks unsettled in his place and has changed his sitting position several times when Yuana performed the last song.

You know, I love you so much. Don't let me be tormented like this by just looking at you from afar. I'm going to leave, to make my promise to you. Erik

Celine looked sneering at the sight of everyone being dazzled by Yuana's appearance. People re-clapped as soon as Yuana ended her song.

"I'm tired of being here all the time. It's no use."

Erik who heard Celine's words didn't care. He got up and went to his friends' place and let them enjoy the dishes that had been prepared.

Secretary Bram walked towards Erik and whispered something. Erik smiled when he heard what Bram's secretary had just whispered.

"Thank you." He said briefly then flattered to his friends that he still had business.

Erik did not need to say goodbye to his papa because the old man looked very busy with his colleagues who had come. Her mother was still serving Lilis who did not finish promoting her daughter who made Missy's ear hurt to hear it because it was a sentence that she had often heard and even memorized.

While Yuana helps her friends to clean up all the musical instruments they use because they have been contacted by Bram's secretary to enjoy the dishes provided.

Yuana chose a table that was the corner, then they took a meal, and ate together. They were eating and joking as usual.

Celine who saw Yuana and her friends from afar was very familiar, burning with envy. He wanted to teach Yuana a lesson because Erik ignored her. But he was still self-conscious not to make a furore for fear of embarrassing himself.

Yuana who had finished eating was seen taking her bag and was about to go home.

"I'll drive you, Yu." Rey offers her services to Yuana.

"No. He's my responsibility, because I picked him up earlier, and he's also my assistant. There's still some work to be done."

Secretary Bram appeared with his haunted face and spoke with no smile at all. Rey's friends only gawk when they find out that Yuana is the direct assistant of Bram's secretary. They only know that Yuana works in Angkasa Group but do not know that Yuana is Bram's assistant secretary.

Rey didn't say anything more. He knows someone who has just spoken. That is why he chose silence.

"Come on! I'll drive you." Said Bram's secretary briefly and left immediately which was directly followed by Yuana.

"Wow! I didn't expect Yuana to be the direct assistant of the secretary of the Space Group." Said Rio

"Don't wonder. Yuana was already smart from there. That's fact!" Karel.

"It's really lucky the kid." Said Fredy

Yuana and Bram's secretary who are already in the parking lot are surprised because Bram's secretary is not going to his car, but to another car. Yuana had never seen that car. Secretary Bram opens the car door quietly and tells Yuana to come in.

"Let's go in. Young master will drive you."

Yuana flinched and looked into the car. In the car Erik was already sitting behind the wheel. Yuana really died a flea. He's really nervous.

Secretary Bram had already turned around to leave them and entered the building where the invitees were still chatting while enjoying the dishes provided.

"Until when will you stand there!"

"Ahm. Sorry!" Yuana said briefly then walked in and sat down beside Erik.

Erik did not say anything and immediately put the seat belt on Yuana. Yuana was shocked and embarrassed to be treated so. While Erik who has finished installing a seat belt directly runs the car.

My heart was like it was going to explode when he put his seatbelt on. Yuana.

He makes me fall in love every day. It must be hard to part with him. But this is the best way. Erik

They were busy with their own thoughts without anyone talking. After arriving at Yuana's apartment, Erik parked the car and came down. Yuana just kept quiet as she walked on and went inside her apartment.

"What do you want to talk about?"

"My decision has been made to continue my studies in the UK. I hope you can understand. I honestly have a hard time leaving you. But I can't stay here and can't see you. You know, it's a very heavy torture. And if I stay here, I won't be able to hold back and eventually the thing we're afraid of will happen."

"I'm fine if you leave. But promise me and assure me that I will not be disappointed with my wait."

"I promise. I will never disappoint you. Whatever obstacles we have to face, don't listen to anyone and what they say."

"You can only listen and trust me." Said Erik holding Yuana's hand and trying to convince Yuana.

"I trust you, and I'll wait for you." Yuana said with tears already dripping.

"Never let out your tears in front of me. I don't like to see you cry." Erik said as he hand wiped off Yuana's tears then squeezed her nose.

"Sick brother."

"Not crying. I don't like." Erik smiled and his hand stroked Yuana's hair.

Yuana smiled shyly towards Erik.

"You should also promise me not to fall in love with anyone but me. If you let me down, then you won't see my face again." Erik said solemnly.

"I won't let you down. I will be faithfully waiting for you." Yuana smiled towards Erik.

Her smile almost blew my heart. I could faint if I stayed here. Erik

"I'm going to leave right now because I'm going to leave tomorrow afternoon. I promised to only one year there while controlling the subsidiary of Angkasa Group there. Pray for me to finish quickly and be back soon. If there I can free video calls, anytime and anywhere."

Yuana's smile expanded upon hearing Erik's words.

"I will always pray for you to come back soon. I must be kangen."

Yuana bowed sadly when saying that.

"Now I know you love me with the words you just said." Erik smiled and kissed Yuana's hand. While Yuana blushed in embarrassment for having said that she must be kangen.

"I'll go now. Take good care of yourself. I'll miss you always."

"May I hug you?"

Yuana just nodded her head in embarrassment. Erik immediately hugged Yuana. His tears almost escaped, as this was the first time he fell in love with women, and he had to make sacrifices to keep them united.

I will always love you, and I will keep my promise to you. Erik.

Yuana felt comfortable in Erik's arms. But he was embarrassed to return Erik's embrace. Erik understood because this was the first for him and Yuana.

They just knew love. But he can hug because he is a man who is certainly more courageous. After a while Erik let go of his embrace.

"Please be good. I love you." Said Erik scrambling Yuana's hair then walking backwards all the way to the door the song turned around and immediately left.

Yuana's tears just escaped after Erik left. He felt a deep pain because he just knew what it would be like to part with a loved one.
