95. The Other Side of Erik

Erik did not immediately answer Yuana's question. He chose silence to explain it in the room only, and only the two of them could know. However, in order not to disappoint Yuana, he hugged Yuana and calmed her down.

A little while later, Erik had finished his bath. She smiled seeing Yuana looking at him.

"Why look at me like that, baby? Am I too handsome?" Erik asked Yuana.

Yuana did not respond to Erik's words. He looked at Erik without saying anything. Erik who was stared at continuously like that for a long time also felt clumsy.

"What's the matter, my dear?" Erik asked while pinching Yuana's nose.

"Why can you talk like that?"

"May Alika bring food to the room only. I want us to talk. I don't want to cover anything from you." Erik said while holding Yuana's hand so as not to leave first.

Yuana immediately came out and told Erik's wish to Alika. Alika immediately did as Yuana said.

After Alika arranged the food, Yuana and Erik ate without anyone talking. Erik also did not hug Yuana as usual. He felt guilty for having to cover up the most important thing his wife had to know.

Finished eating, as Yuana was about to clean up their food marks, Erik prevented her.

"Let me just." Erik said as he held Yuana's hand and then kissed Yuana on the forehead.

Yuana pulls her hand and lets Erik do what he wants. She did not dispute what her husband wanted.

"Sit here." Erik said while pointing beside him.

Yuana sat down obediently without saying anything. She took a breath and was ready to listen to what her husband was going to say.

"Are you still curious about what happened on the road?" Ask Erik.

"That's not all that makes me curious. I've been curious ever since I heard the sentence you asked Habib. At first I felt ordinary. But I soon realized that it was a code Habib should have understood." Yuana said while taking a breath.

"What else do you know?" Erik instead of telling a story, instead chased after Yuana with a question.

"I never doubted my wife's intelligence. Because there's nothing I can hide that she won't know." Erik said while playing Yuana's hair.

"Check! I want to hear what you've done." Yuana said as she looked at Erik solemnly.

"As we approach our wedding day, I can already feel that there are a lot of things that we will face, because there are a lot of people out there who might not like me, especially you. Therefore, I asked one of the employees at the London company who is the intelligence agency to accept my offer by sending someone here." Erik paused for a moment.

"I put him in the company to watch the movements of the people who work in the office. No one knows about this, except me, and now you."

"After we're done getting married and we're officially living in this house, I need some supervision from a reliable person remotely. Therefore, he sent one of his confidants to watch over us wherever we went without anyone else knowing."

"Then why are you still asking Habib to take care of me for 24 hours?" Asked Yuana astonished.

"Because I don't want Habib and Alika to know this. I want them to stay accountable and never let their guard down, because we don't know what's going to happen in the future.

"Then, where is that guy now?" Asked Yuana astonished.

"Did you see that park ranger across the street in front of our house?"

"Yes! I saw it." Answer Yuana.

"Never talk to him, look at him, or steal a glance at him. His work is secret and no one should know." Erik said firmly.

"So, you mean he's that.."

"Yes! He's the one I meant. He's been watching and protecting us all this time." Erik answered honestly.

"That means yesterday afternoon he saw the two people who broke into our house?"

"Of course he saw it. If he hadn't seen it, those two people were currently still wandering around and not becoming corpses as we knew them earlier this afternoon."

"You should ask Habib if he believes in you or not." Yuana concluded.

"Rubber. And this is all we can both know. No one else can know if it's Joshua or Bram." Erik said while hugging Yuana.

"It turns out my husband has other advantages that I don't know about. I used to think that an Erik Wiliam could only dwell in front of a computer. Though secretly he was in contact with people like that." Yuana.

"I have to do that to keep Angkasa Group safe. Papa at this time might not acknowledge me as a child. But everything I did to keep papa safe in his current position was unshaken by anyone. I'm sorry, dear?"

Erik said as he rained down on Yuana with many stamps on his head and face. Next we can guess what happened. Yuana is only resigned to what Erik did.
