49. Erik's surprise

Erik has since returned from the UK, asking the father that he himself supervise some children of the Angkasa Group branch outside the city or outside the island. He did so deliberately so as not to arouse his father's suspicions about his relationship with Yuana.

The morning when the father called Yuana, Erik was on duty out of town, and stayed there for two days. Yuana also found out about it and even the night before Yuana was due to leave for South Africa, Erik still had time to send a message. That's why he thinks everything's okay.

That afternoon, Erik returned from out of town in a hurry because from morning he called Yuana and her number was off. She was afraid something might happen to Yuana. Therefore he does not care about his father when he arrives and rushes to Yuana's apartment to meet with Yuana.

Her heart started to unsettle when from morning she called and Yuana's number was off. Plus the attitude of his father who smiled since he came home from out of town. This is a rare reality, because even though Erik is his biological son, Andre Wiliam does not just give his smile.

As soon as he arrived, Erik turned off the car engine and left the car keys hanging. He immediately ran into the elevator to Yuana's apartment. The remote that was in his hand from far away had already been pressed. As soon as the door opened, Erik immediately entered without saying a greeting.

What was on Erik's mind back then was the fear of something happening to Yuana. Because it was so entered he directly headed to the front of Yuana's room. He stood up for a moment to calm his heart. After a bit of calm, Erik intended to kick the door. But he undoed his intention and his hand moved around the doorknob slowly.

Erik is shocked to find out that Yuana's bedroom door is unlocked.

"Yes? Sorry if it's not polite. Can I come in, baby?"

Erik waited one second, two seconds, three seconds, until about ten seconds had passed but there was no response. Finally Erik turned the doorknob back and opened the door.

As soon as the door opened, Erik did not see Yuana. He only saw pillows and bolsters and bedcovers neatly arranged.

"Where is he? Why is there no news at all?"

Erik checked all corners of the room, but the result was nil because he found no trace of Yuana. Eventually Erik chose to sit on the living room sofa. While sitting down, Erik closed his eyes, while his brain thought about finding out where Yuana was.

Moments later, he washed his face with both hands and opened his eyes. When he opened his eyes, he saw an envelope with his name on it.

Erik was impatient and immediately tore the envelope. I can't wait to find out the envelope. When the envelope was opened, Erik's eyes were immediately fixed on the letters on the paper.

Despite the intense pain, Erik tried to strengthen his heart and read each piece of writing until it was finished. After reading, two tears came out and fell on his cheek.

"You have Yu! You bear! I told you not to listen to anyone but me. Where's your promise?"

"If you can't keep your word, don't ever say it! Because it's better I never hear you promise than I hear it and then all those promises are just sweet words that come to my ear."

Erik was crying like a child. He doesn't know what to do, especially.

"If papa told you to leave, you should have told me to come with you. Why would I live without you?"

"What mistake have I made with you until you're this tired, Yu?"

Erik cried while holding his head. He was confused what to do. After a bit of calm, Erik looked at the sofa where he was sitting and imagined the last time he hugged Yuana to sleep in his arms.

Erik got up and got out of his apartment. He immediately took his car and walked. Erik did not return home, but went straight out of town again, to where Joshua and his mother lived.

Erik had visited a subsidiary of the Angkasa Group where Joshua worked, so he knew where his apartment was.

Erik no longer cared about the fatigue that attacked him. As much as possible he had to make it to this night to find a way out, even though he already knew what Joshua was going to do to him.

Along the way, when thinking of Yuana, unknowingly her tears trickled down. She felt very lost, because this was the first time she fell in love with a woman.

"Ah Lord! If I knew it would end up like this, never open my heart to love a woman. Let me remain in my solitude with a cold heart on all women."

Because of the road while thinking about Yuana, the four-hour journey was not felt for her. His heart was relieved when his car entered the city where Joshua and his mother lived.

After a few minutes, Erik arrived at Joshua's apartment. He walked to the door and rang the bell.

Shortly afterwards, Santy's mom is seen opening the door for Erik. The old woman's eyes were swollen from mostly crying.

"Mom, Yuana's gone! I'm sorry for not being able to take good care of Yuana."

Erik cried again without making a sound. Ms. Santy said nothing at all. He was just silent with his tears continuing to drip.

About ten minutes later, Joshua was seen coming out of his room. Apparently he was checking the incoming files for inspection.

Joshua was stunned when he saw Eric. Without ba bi bu, Joshua grabbed Erik by the collar and beat him mercilessly. Eric did not respond to Joshua's treatment. After beating Eric, Joshua released him. Blood came out from the corner of Erik's lips and many lumps were already lodged in his face.

"I warned you from the beginning. If you can't take care of my sister, don't ever give her the love that will end up like this. He's the only treasure I have. Your father or you want to fire me please! I don't give a shit! But never separate me from my sister. I'd rather live a rough life than run over treasure but lose my sister."

"You know! He can't take care of himself. Because since childhood he only struggled with books, and various things for his development. Get out of here before my emotions peak again."
