Arga's Doubts

Lola remained silent after Daffa told her that Daffa would go abroad later that night.

Since Daffa helped her to make the video, Lola and Daffa became closer and communicated with each other intensely, especially after Lola returned from her parents' home.

Their increasingly close relationship makes them both care for each other even though there is no clear status in their relationship.

Even so, Lola did not easily open her heart to Daffa who clearly showed her feelings for Lola, as Lola still doubted the seriousness of Daffa.

"I want to go to the toilet for a while" said Lola, then moved from her seat and took her steps toward the toilet.

In the toilet Lola just stayed in front of the sink. After he washed his hands he tried to control the sadness he suddenly felt at that moment.

"Why am I sad? he's only gone for a while and he'll be right back" Lola said in her heart, then took a deep breath and exhaled slowly before she came out of the toilet.

"Are you okay?" ask Daffa to Lola who was already sitting in front of him.

Lola just nodded her head and sipped her drink.

"We'd better go home now, you'll have to pack up!" said Lola.

"You're right, is there anything else you want to buy?" ask Daffa who was answered by Lola's head.

Daffa and Lolapun left the cafe, Daffa then drove his car to Lola's boarding place.

Arriving at Lola's boarding house, Daffa stopped his car but he immediately restrained Lola's hand as Lola was about to open the door.

"Are you mad at me?" ask Daffa.

"I have no reason to be angry with you" Lola replied.

"But you seem to be upset, is it because I suddenly went overseas and just told you?" ask Daffa.

"I'm just a little surprised" Lola replied briefly.

"I'm sorry to tell you all of a sudden like this, because it's a sudden decision from Arga" Daffa said.

"Yes I understand," Lola replied with a slow nod of her head.

"I'll definitely keep calling you when I'm abroad, but it probably won't be as frequent as when I'm here because there's a lot I have to work on so I can get back soon," daffa.

"There's no need to call me often, just focus on what you have to do there and come back soon" Lola replied.

"Are you going to miss me when I'm not here?" ask Daffa.

"What can you do if I miss you and want to see you?" lola replied asking by looking into Daffa's eyes, making Daffa instantly speechless and nervous to get a sharp look from Lola.

"I... I....."

"I know there's nothing you can do because you're working on Arga's orders, I understand and will try to understand" Lola said as she opened Daffa's car door.

"Don't forget to let me know if you're okay there, the rest just focus on your work and come back as I'm waiting for you" Lola said with a smile and exited Daffa's car.

As Daffa got out of his car and ran to Lola, Daffa grabbed Lola by the hand and hugged her tightly.

"Please keep your words waiting for me because I will be back for you soon" Daffa said, releasing his arms from Lola.

Lola only smiled faintly and continued walking towards her room, while Daffa was still standing in place until Lola walked into her room.

The clock has shown at 07:00 pm when Arga is still busy with his work at the office.

Suddenly the door of his room opened, making Arga so surprised to see who came into his room.

Karina who was at the door of Arga's room just fell silent with both eyes that had been damp because she had just cried.

Seeing that, Arga immediately got up from his seat and took his steps toward Karina and closed the door of his room.

"What happened to you Karina? did Bian hurt you?" asked Arga while carrying Karina sitting on the sofa.

"I'm sorry Arga, I can't think clearly since yesterday, there are a lot of things that have been stressful to me lately" Karina said with her two teary eyes

"Is it because of Bian?" tanya Arga who was answered by Karina's head.

"Tell me what I can do to help you Karina, but if you want me to go with you, I'm sorry that I can't do that because I take full responsibility for the company you trust me with."

"What I did yesterday was a stupid thing, I did it without thinking because I no longer know what to do" Karina replied.

"What exactly makes you like this Karina? tell me," asked Arga.

Karina just kept quiet by lowering her head and began to sob, Argapun shifted her sitting position and brought Karina into her arms.

"I'm sorry if I let you down, if there's anything else you need you can tell me, I'll definitely help you" Arga said as she stroked Karina's hair softly.

"You must be so busy right now, am I bothering you?" karina asked with her eyes looking at Arga.

Arga was silent for a while, he was busy at the time but seeing the chaotic-looking Karina made it unbearable to make Karina leave just like that.

"There's some work I need to get done, if you want you can wait here after that I'll take you home" Arga said.

"Can't you just accompany me for a minute? I'm really in a slump right now" asked Karina with her gaze still on Arga, trying to get Arga to comply.

"Karina, i....."

"I've just seen a psychiatrist" Karina says, cutting off Arga's words while releasing herself from Arga's arms and taking something from her bag.

"Look, I have to take these medicines every day so that I don't go crazy like yesterday, I beg Arga I really need you right now" Karina pleaded.

"Well I'll take you home now" said Arga, then got up from his seat and tidied up his desk.

"I'm going to drive him home and finish my work at home, so much better" Arga said.

"I'll be waiting for you in the basement" said Karina who was only met with a nod of her head and a faint smile by Arga.

Karina then exits Arga's room and walks to the basement to wait for Arga.

After Arga tidied up his desk and saved his work, he immediately left his room.

In the basement there is Karina who is standing near Arga's car, they leave the office, Arga drives her car towards Karina's house.

Arriving at Karina's house, Karina forces Arga to accompany her at home.

"What if Bian suddenly comes?" ask Arga.

"She was angry with me, she couldn't have suddenly come" Karina replied.

Arga was silent for a while, thinking about what he should do. He wanted to accompany Karina who seemed to be not okay at the time, but in his heart he hesitated to do so.

"Actually I'm driving you home because I want to finish my work immediately at home, the company is not doing well Karina, I have a lot of things to do and......"

"And you're ignoring me again? like that?" karina asked to cut off Arga's words.

Arga let out a long sigh, not knowing what he had to say to Karina back then.

"When we were in contact you always put more importance on your work than me and now that we've become friends you're still like that, then or now you're still the man who always hurt me Arga," karina said with tears welling up in both corners of her eyes.

"Can't you understand a little of my work Karina? papa entrusted his company to me which made me take full responsibility for my trust!"

"Then what about me? you always ignore me even when I'm like this, don't you think about me?" reply Karina with her selfishness.

Arga let out a long sigh then brought his gaze to Karina who was already crying at that moment.

"Don't cry in front of me Karina, you're making me feel even more guilty about you" Arga said, wiping away tears on both of Karina's cheeks.

"I will accompany you until you fall asleep" said Arga, who was finally crushed by Karina's tears.

Arga and Karina then get out of the car and into Karina's house.

"I'll make you a drink" said Karina, who would walk into the kitchen, but was prevented by Arga.

"No need, take your medicine before you go to bed, I will accompany you" Arga said.

Karina then takes her medicine and walks into her room followed by Arga.

"We used to love Arga, I used to be the luckiest woman to have you" Karina said as she lay on her bed.

Arga just kept quiet with an awkward smile. Somehow he felt uncomfortable in Karina's room at that time.

"If only you could think of me a little more and care about me more, maybe we'd be happier now, maybe I'd be waiting for you at your house, preparing your needs and....."

"Sleep Karina, don't think about anything that makes you burdened and immediately solve your problems with Bian, if you are not happy with him just end your relationship with him," said Arga cut Karina's speech

"I can't just end it, he's a very nice guy, he's the one I was there for when you ignored me" Karina replied.

"Then what is he doing to you now? doesn't he often treat you harshly? but why are you still holding on to him?" ask Arga.

"It was just a momentary rage that happened because of my own fault, he wouldn't have been mad at me if it wasn't for me being at fault" Karina replied.

"It's up to you, you know best how best Karina is" Arga said with a sigh.

Arga's phone rang, a call came in from Bianca which made Arga so surprised.

Arga then immediately got up from her seat and walked out of Karina's room to receive Bianca's call.

"Hello Bianca, what's wrong?" asked Arga after she received Bianca's call.

"I was in your office but the receptionist said you were home, are you home now?" bianca said at once asking.

Instantly Arga was silent, he did not expect that Bianca would suddenly come to the office while she was at Karina's house.

"What's Arga?" asked Karina who suddenly came over to Arga, making Arga even more nervous and immediately away from Karina while sticking her index finger on the lips, giving Karina a code to be quiet.

"Who are you with there? am I bothering you?" bianca asked who heard Karina's voice.

"I'm meeting with a client outside the office, I'm going back to the office soon so wait for me there" replied Arga reasoned

"Well I'll wait for you here" Bianca said, ending her call to Arga.

Arga then put her phone in her pocket and took her steps towards Karina who was standing not far from her.

"Karina, I have to go" Arga told Karina.

"Why? aren't you going to keep me company until I fall asleep?" karina asked with Arga's arm.

"I'm sorry Karina, Bianca is in the office right now, I have to see her immediately so she doesn't suspect me" Arga replied while releasing Karina's hand from her.

"But....."

"Go to sleep and don't think of anything that makes you burdened, I'll go!" said Arga cut Karina's words and immediately ran out of Karina's house.

Arga drives her car leaving Karina's house to return to the office. Arriving at the office Arga saw Bianca sitting in the lobby and immediately approached her.

"Why are you waiting for me here, Bee? can you wait for me in my room?" asked Arga who immediately sat beside Bianca.

"There's nobody in your room, I didn't see Daffa there either, so I chose to wait here" Bianca replied.

"What brings you all of a sudden here without telling me? do you want to surprise me?" arga asked with her hand around Bianca's shoulder.

"Don't be overconfident" Bianca replied in a very slow voice.

"I am indeed a very confident person" said Arga, whispering in Bianca's ear, making them both look very close at the time.

"I'm actually here to bring you dinner, but it looks like you just had dinner with your client" Bianca said.

"No, I haven't eaten anything tonight" Arga replied.

"really? I thought you just met your client over dinner!"

Arga just shook his head slowly and opened the food Bianca had brought for him.

"Waaahh sushi!" said Arga with sparkling eyes to see his favorite food.

"I bought it at your subscription place, Mama told me, ", Bianca said

"You are the best baby, thank you," said Arga while rubbing Bianca's hair.

Bianca just smiled without saying anything. I don't know why his chest suddenly thumped at that moment.

On the other hand, some people in the lobby just throw a smile at each other looking Arga and Bianca who look romantic in their eyes.
