Why Lying?

Time passed, the clock had shown at 05:00 pm when Arga moved from his chair. After clearing all her work, Arga took her steps out of her room.

Suddenly Arga stopped his steps, he was so surprised to see a woman he knew walking with a smile towards him.

"That's!" call him while waving with a smile at Arga.

Arga was silent and immediately grabbed the woman's hand and led her into her room.

"What are you doing here Karina?" ask Arga to Karina.

"Why do you look so nervous Arga? I'm just here to deliver your leftover goods to my house" Karina replied as she handed Arga a pen.

"It's just Karina's pen, you don't have to drive her here" Arga said.

"I just want to return your belongings, why are you overreacting?"

"I'm sorry, I just....."

"No need to apologize, it's my fault for coming here without telling you, maybe I shouldn't be here anymore" Karina said, cutting off Arga's words.

"That's not how I mean Karina, forget it and thank you for returning the penaku," Arga said.

Karina just nodded her head slowly with a faint smile, but she still stood in her place as if she did not want to quickly leave from before Arga.

"Are you going home?" ask Karina.

"Yes I will go home, if you want I can take you home first" replied Arga.

"Aren't you worried if someone else sees you with me?" ask Karina.

"You can wait for me in the basement, right? I'll be there soon after this!"

"Alright I will wait for you in the basement," Karina replied with a smile and walked out of Arga's room.

Daffa who had just returned from the toilet stopped his steps as he looked at Karina who had just walked out of Arga's room.

Daffapun immediately held Karina's hand, warning Karina not to come back to see Arga.

"Do you have no shame Karina? don't you have any self-respect anymore?" ask Daffa while holding Karina's hand.

Karin immediately withdrew her hand from Daffa and replied to Dafa with a sharp look.

"Tell me whatever you want, I'll never care what you say!" karina said to Daffa.

"You already have a fiancee and Arga already has a wife, you better stop seeing Arga if you are a woman who still has self-esteem!" say Dafa.

"I....."

Karina stopped her speech as she looked at Arga who came out of her room, she then brought her gaze to Arga with a hearty look.

"What bad words did you say to him, Daffa?" ask Arga to Daffa.

"You will regret always defending Arga, I assure you," Daffa replied and walked away.

"Did he say something that hurt you?" ask Arga to Karina.

"As usual, she does hate me so much" Karina replied.

"Don't think too much about Daffa's words, now go to the basement, I'll see you there soon" said Arga, who was only met with a nod of the head by Karina.

Karina then walked away from Arga, while Arga still had to finish some things and immediately took her step towards the basement to meet Karina.

As Arga was walking towards Karina, suddenly a car stopped not far from where Karina was standing.

Arga is very familiar with the car, making Arga immediately accelerate his steps towards Karina before someone from inside the car came out to curse Karina.

But it was too late, before Arga came someone from the car was out.

"What are you doing here? do you intend to bother Arga again?" nadine asked Karina who was standing by Arga's car.

"No aunt, Karina came here only to return Arga's leftover goods" Karina replied.

"What do you mean and why did Arga's stuff get left to you?" ask Nadine.

"Mama...why is your mom here?" asked Arga when she was between Karina and her mother.

"What kind of question is Arga, Mama should ask him, why is he here and why is he standing next to your car?" nadine asked.

"Don't get me wrong, Karina just accidentally stood here, didn't she?" said Arga at once asked by bringing his eyes to Karina.

Karina simply smiled without saying anything.

"Then go, what are you waiting for!' nadine told Karina.

"There's something Karina wants to talk to Arga, aunty, about" Karina said.

"Just talk about it here, auntie won't leave you alone with Arga" replied Nadine.

"Arga, are you sure I should say it here? in front of your mom?" ask Karina to Arga.

"Whether you go, there will be nothing between Arga and Karina, please believe me!" arga said to her mother.

"You kicked Mama out because of her?" nadine asked Arga.

"That's not what Arga ma means, Arga...."

Arga stops her words by sighing harshly, he is always faced with a difficult choice for her, between his mother and Karina, the girl he loves so much.

"Karina, you better go home now, let's talk about what you want to say next time!" arga said to Karina.

"Nothing next time, you two can't meet like this, you're a woman who already has Karina's fiancee and you also know that Arga is a man who already has a wife, a good woman will not want to meet a married man secretly behind her fiance" said Nadine.

Karina just smiled and brought her eyes to Arga.

"Looks like I should go, thanks for your time Arga, I'll call you again!" karina said to Arga and walked away.

Arga let out a long sigh seeing Karina walking away from him, he was forced to be unable to drive Karina home because of the existence of the mother.

"Mama will come home with you!' said Mama Arga and then just got into the Arga car.

"Will Mama tell Bianca this?" asked Arga to the mother when Arga had driven his car away from the office.

"Of course not, Mama doesn't want Bianca to feel hurt because of your stupidity!" answer Nadine.

"You should remember Arga, you won't forgive you if you hurt Bianca, you'll be so mad at you if you're secretly in touch with Karina!" nadine continued, which made Arga speechless.

"I'm sorry Arga ma, Arga loves Karina very much and about Bianca, there is absolutely no love in the marriage of Arga and Bianca," Arga said in his heart.

After some time on the way, Argapun arrived at his house. Arga got out of his car with his mom.

"Where's Bianca?" nadine asked Arga as she entered the house.

"He used to spend time in the reading room or on the balcony of the 2nd floor, mama just try there," replied Arga while taking her steps up the 3rd floor.

"Where are you going Arga? why go to the 3rd floor?" nadine asked who saw Arga running small to the 3rd floor.

Instantly Arga stopped his steps, he only realized that he almost made the mother suspicious.

"Arga.. must do some work in the workspace," answered Arga reasoned.

"Do your job later, you have to take a shower and see your wife" Nadine said.

"Alright," Arga replied by nodding his head slowly and then running small down the stairs.

"Why am I so stupid? I almost went into the room on the 3rd floor!" said Arga while opening the door to Bianca's room.

On the other hand Bianca who had just finished bathing had already come out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around her body.

Suddenly the door of her room opened and Arga walked into her room just like that as she was only wrapped in a towel that was enough to cover her chest and thighs.

Instantly Bianca screamed loudly as she saw Arga inside her room.

"YAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" bianca shouted while tightly holding onto the towel that was stuck on her body.

Hearing Bianca's cry, Argapun immediately approached Bianca and clutched Bianca's mouth with his hand.

Biancapun immediately thrashed and stomped firmly on one of Arga's legs.

"Aaarrggghhh Bianca." said Arga whimpering in pain with a stifled voice.

On the other hand, Nadine who heard Bianca's screaming voice immediately took her steps towards Bianca's room and knocked on Bianca's room door.

"Bianca, are you inside? did something happen to you?" nadine asked from the door of Bianca's room.

Unresolved Bianca's shock at Arga's presence in her room, Bianca is so shocked when she hears Mama Arga's voice from the front of her room.

"Mama!" bianca said with her eyes on Arga who was holding her painful leg.

"Just put your clothes on, don't make Mama think no-no!" said Arga who made Bianca immediately take her clothes and go back into the bathroom.

After wearing his clothes in the bathroom, Biancapun immediately came out of the bathroom and found Arga who had been sitting on the edge of his bed with still holding his legs that look bruised.

"When has Mama been here and why have you come into my room without knocking on the door?" bianca whispered to Arga.

"I met my mom at the office and she asked me to come home with me, wouldn't it look so weird if I knocked on the door before I came in? it'd be even stranger if you saw me walk into the room on the 3rd floor, wouldn't you?" balas Arga's.

"You're right, then what should I do now?" ask Bianca.

"Come out, Mama must be worried about you, prepare any excuse that can convince mama because of your screams earlier," replied Arga.

Bianca sighed uninspiredly and immediately prepared herself to meet Mama Arga.

Bianca opened her bedroom door and found Mama Arga still standing in front of her room with a worried look.

"What's Bianca? why are you yelling like that?" ask Nadine worried.

"Bianca was only surprised that Arga had corrupted Bianca ma," Bianca replied reasoned.

"Aaaahhhh so, I think something happened to you" said Nadine.

Bianca and Nadine then chatted in the living room. They talked about many things, about recipes, about Nadine's hobby of collecting flowers and many other things.

"So because Arga has been living abroad for a long time, when she came back Mama didn't want her to be too far away from mama, that's why Mama never allowed her to do work out of town" Nadine said.

"What if there is a job that requires Arga to go out of town ma? shouldn't he still go out of town?" ask Bianca.

"As long as he's CEO at the company, work problems outside the city are always solved by Daffa" Nadine replied.

"Are you sure that Daffa always does it?" ask Bianca.

"Of course Mama is sure, even though Arga is the CEO of the company but still the board is the leader, any decisions and activities will definitely involve his father, he said, so Mama and papa must know when and who will go out of town to solve the work problem" explained Nadine.

Hearing Nadine's words, Bianca was silent for a while. He thought about Arga's long departure.

"It's obvious that Daffa didn't go out of town, Daffa was even surprised when I said that Arga was out of town, but Nadine's mom said that if Arga couldn't get out of town for work, then where would Arga go?" bianca asked in her heart.

"What's Bianca? is there a problem?" nadine asked who saw Bianca suddenly fell silent.

"No ma," replied Bianca, shaking her head gently with a sweet smile.

"If anything disturbs your mind, don't hesitate to tell your mom, think mom and dad like your own parents, Bianca," said Nadine, who was met with a nod of her head and a smile by Bianca.

After a long chat, Nadine then say goodbye to Bianca to go home.

After Nadine's departure, Bianca was still sitting in the living room with a blank view. In her head was full of questions about what Arga was actually doing without her knowledge.

"Lola said that if for a few days Arga always comes home sooner, it means Arga does not go out of town, Lola couldn't possibly lie to me and Daffa couldn't possibly lie to Lola about it either, but why would Arga lie to me?" bianca asked in her heart.

"Have Mama gone home?" tanya Arga broke Bianca's daydream.

Bianca then moved from her seat and took her steps closer to Arga.

"There's something I want to ask you, I hope you can be honest with me!" bianca told Arga.

"Why do you look so serious? did Mama say anything to you?" balas Arga's.

"It's not about mom, it's about you" Bianca said.

Instantly Arga fell silent with all sorts of possibilities about what Bianca would ask him.

In her heart she is not ready if Bianca will ask about her relationship with Karina.

Although her marriage to Bianca was only based on a contract agreement but Arga did not want to make Bianca feel taken advantage of by him.

Arga doesn't want Bianca to know her real personal problems.
