Jec came out of the doctor's room with a worried feeling. Jec's mind was clearly guessing that Qari was currently pregnant, and it was clear the possibility of conceiving a child from Deon. Therefore her boss is experiencing symptoms of a sympathetic pregnancy as the doctor says. Jec didn't go back to Deon's room right away, but first sitting in the waiting chair in the hospital hallway his hand picked up a smart object that he would use to contact people who could be trusted in this case.
Jec must really consider what happened to Deon, if the man really knows that Qari is pregnant, and his boss will certainly guess the same thing with Deon.

Jec was surprised at the thought of his boss, why can it be so smooth to think about it, even Jec did not think about it in the least.

"You dare Jec laugh at me? I'm your boss, who can fire you at any time" Deon snapped with eyes that almost jumped, even returning to starving lion mode.
