Love for Kanaya

Love for Kanaya
CHAPTER 7. KANAYA REQUEST

"Eh Kanaya, come with Bang Da...

Before Anin finished her speech, Arland swiftly pulled the girl's hand and made Anin flinch in shock. Same with Vino and Tania.

"Om Brewok what the hell!?" Tukas Anin did not accept it.

"Sorry Om, Auntie, I have something to talk to Anin about for a second." After that Arland pulled Anin's hand out of the house. Making Vino and Tania stare in surprise while Keenan and Kanaya breathe a sigh of relief.

"Em, Kanaya, they are like that." Keenan said, smiling at Kanaya, he wanted to show his father and mother if he and Kanaya were the right couple.

Tania and Vino are often told by Keenan, how their daughter often menjahili Arland was quite understanding, just that they were surprised because Arland suddenly pulled Anin's hand.

Tania again embraces Kanaya and invites her future daughter-in-law to the living room.

"Em, Kanaya before her Om apologize. If you can figure out what your parents do?" Vino asked, which made Kanaya immediately turn to look at Keenan.

Keenan immediately answered his papa's question according to what had been told by Damar.

"Pa, Ma, Kanaya actually has no parents. And Kanaya is actually Anin's upperclassman who was forced to drop out of school and work in a hotel as a housekeeper to fund his life and his sister who is still in elementary school."

Hearing Keenan's words, Vino and Tania looked at each other with flat expressions. Kanaya made a slight smile because she thought the two middle-aged would not approve of her marriage to Keenan, because her status was not commensurate with theirs.

While staring at each other, Tania and Vino looked back at their son and future daughter-in-law.

"Keenan, Papa is proud of you. Papa is happy because you chose a prospective companion by not looking at his social status. Papa is sure that this choice of yours is the best for you." Said Vino who made Kanaya smile instantly faded.

Hearing that, Tania smiled warmly while rubbing the husband's shoulder.

"Mama's proud of you too, Keenan. You're really following in the footsteps of your Papa who doesn't see someone with his standing." Tania Sahut. And it was Vino's turn to smile while rubbing the back of his wife's hand.

"Maybe you and Anin think, if Mama used to be a Papa-class Woman, when in the past Mama was cleaning service in the company that you now manage." Tania.

And Keenan was made completely shocked to hear the woman who had given birth to him. Keenan did think if his mother came from a family that was able to remember his late mother's parents had several large enough restaurants in various places, but Keenan doesn't know if it's a business favor from his papa parents.

While Kanaya can only fall silent without a word, Keenan's parents' talk is clear if they won't oppose her marriage to Keenan which she desperately hopes will never happen.

"So, when are you planning on getting married?" Ask Vino then.

"If Keenan wants it soon, Pa." Answer Keenan.

Vino chuckled, "Look sweetheart, Our son is impatient." Said to his wife. "Then, what about you Kanaya? Do you mind if the wedding is held any time soon?" Ask Kanaya.

"Yes Om, it doesn't matter Kanaya replied." Well, he thinks the sooner the better because the sooner he will be freed from Keenan and return to Damar.

"But sorry Om, Auntie. Can I ask you something?" Kanaya said then while glancing towards Keenan.

"Just tell me what you want to ask, we'll gladly grant it." Answer Vino.

While Keenan stared fixedly at Kanaya, asking inwardly what the girl wanted to ask for.

"Om, Auntie, once again I'm sorry before. For the wedding later does not need to be published, just attended by the nuclear family." Kanaya. Making Vino and Tania stare at each other, a little surprised by the request of their future daughter-in-law.

Kanaya did not immediately answer, she was silent for a while to find the right answer so as not to offend the two middle-aged. And the reason for not wanting this marriage to be publicized to keep his lover's feelings, even though Damar himself asked him to marry Keenan within the stipulated time limit, which is for three months only.

"It's okay, Auntie. I just feel like it's not necessary." Kanaya replied after a moment of silence. That was the only answer he could give.

Tania nodded slowly, then she threw a questionable look at her son. And Keenan just nodded his head slowly and winked both eyes as a signal for his mother and father to just agree to Kanaya's request.

"Well, if that's your request, we'll grant it even if it's unfortunate that Keenan is our first son who should be celebrated with a festive wedding feast." Vino.

Kanaya seems to bow her head slightly, "Sorry Om, Auntie." Only that sentence was capable of saying.

"It's okay, no need to apologize, We appreciate your request. But in accordance with our family tradition, you still have to wear family wedding clothes that have been passed down." Vino again.

And Kanaya just nodded in response.

Outside the house...

Anin stared at Arland unblinkingly hearing every sentence spoken from the lips of the man he often called the om brewok.

Anin fell silent without a word, pecking at the place where she stood after Arland told her everything about what happened between Kanaya and Keenan, and the story of what happened, and Arland was forced to tell because the girl kept trying to enter and it would make Vino and Tania know if Kanaya was Damar's lover. However, Arland did not say that Damar would allow Kanaya to marry Keenan in just three months.

"You already know everything, so please keep this matter a secret from your Papa and Mama for the sake of your two brothers." Arland.

"Anin, you're okay, right?" Arland asked, seeing that Anin was silent.

Anin slightly flinched, she looked back at Arland. "Om Brewok thanks for the information. Anin promised not to tell anyone."

However, Arland was even upset because again Anin called it om brewok. Does he look so old in the eyes of the girl that he should be called om? Pula brew.

Without caring for Arland who looks upset about it, Anin just entered the house.

"Basic girl's a rancid!" Arland exclaimed in annoyance.

Inside the house, Anin directly sat her body beside Kanaya. He looked at the girl who was two years older than him with a flat expression. However, from the look in his eyes there was a sense of pity there. He pityes Kanaya for being a victim, but he feels more sorry for his two brothers who have to be involved in such a complicated relationship.
