Starting the War Drum

The god really regretted his words allowing Ruby to hug him in lieu of bolsters. The God of the night really could not close his eyes at all, not because of the insomnia he had suffered all this time but because his weapon again betrayed the God, he continued upright and could not be compromised. 

Many times the Gods tried to release Ruby's embrace, but the result was even more Ruby tightened his embrace, and many times Ruby's legs nudged something that stiffened it, too, until it gets stronger the tension in the groin of God. The heat continued to lash out until it made it difficult for the Gods to close their eyes. 

"It seems I have to give you an even better name, so that your taste for women will also have high standards." The gods continued to curse his weapons all night. 

Ruby woke up when God had just fallen asleep. She saw the peaceful face of her husband who still looked handsome even though he was asleep. 

"You are the Lord's incarnation." Ruby's great-grandson who was not bored noticed the curves of the face of a man who had made her a wife. 

It's past breakfast time and God hasn't woken up yet. Hunger has hit Ruby's stomach which is not eating enough at the party yesterday. But to wake the peaceful God in Ruby's dream is unbearable. 

"Are you awake?" The God's hoarse voice made Ruby who was watching television stunned. 

"Yes." Yeah." Ruby replied while biting her lips. "mmmmmmm. Gods!" Ruby sounded doubtful. 

"What?" Ask the God while stretching his stiffened body muscles. How not stiff, all night he slept with the supine position because of the actions of Ruby who uses her body as a bolster. 

"I'm hungry." Answer Ruby shame. 

"Why not order food?" God forgot that this was Ruby's first time sleeping in a hotel. 

"How is it? I don't know how. Don't bring money down either." Ruby complained with a pouting face. 

"Hisst, I forgot my wife was a village." 

The god grabbed the phone on the bedside nightstand to order food. 

"Here I teach you how to be rich when they stay in hotels!" The god patted her bed so Ruby approached her. 

"Sad. You're arrogant!" But she did not stop him from approaching her husband. 

God actually taught Ruby to get room service at the hotel. How to order food, how to ask for help, and more. 

"Do all hotels have such facilities?" Ruby's amazed. 

"Because I just used to book a suite room at the hotel, so yeah so far the facilities I got are like that."

Ruby mangosteen. 

"Are you proud to have me?" The god raised both eyebrows quickly. 

Ruby only fell silent, so far she realized they were married not out of love, but out of gratitude to Sandra. And Sandra wants a grandchild out of her. Suddenly Ruby felt guilty for Sandra, she seemed to have betrayed her in-laws. 

"What's wrong?" The god looked at the puzzled face of his wife who did not answer his question. 

"Can't we just do that once?" Ruby asked hesitantly. 

The god immediately pulled his blanket up to his chest with a watchful look as if afraid that the woman who had been his rightful wife yesterday would pounce on him.

"Why are you so cheap to be a girl?" Dewa Syndir.

Ruby was silent, not wanting him to be like that. But Ruby was just trying to make her mother-in-law's wishes come true. 

"Can't I be the woman who meets your criteria? I can go in various lessons to be on par with you." Ruby was truly compassionate, she was already indifferent to her pride. 

Because as Sandra said, now she is the wife who is entitled to what is in the body of God. 

The god fell silent, he really could not believe that there was such a lowly woman who was willing to just want it. 

"Read our prenuptial agreement. It seems that after I lent you my body that was so awesome you wanted more. Do not dream, because the premium quality seeds I have will not seed anywhere, especially in your arid fields." The gods completely dropped Ruby's pride. 

"So you mean that the arid field is my womb?" Ruby just realized the proverbial controversy God gave her. 

"Otherwise?" The Lord answered while walking towards the bathroom. 

Ruby was angry she did not think if she was humbled as low as possible by the Gods all this time. 

"Don't be too arrogant young master! Prove first by you if the premium quality seeds that you are proud of can grow on my field!" Either heard or not by God because he seemed to not care about Ruby's babble. 

It turns out that the party is not over yet, when Ruby and the Gods arrive at her parents' house. They were greeted by the Gods family who seemed to be deliberately waiting for the arrival of the newlyweds, most of whom wanted to tease the new couple. 

Bawdy babbles kept coming out of the mouths of the God's relatives which made Ruby a little uncomfortable with their perverted chatter. 

It turns out that many people are more perverted than mommy. Think Ruby. 

"Congratulations Sir, finally after 35 years of being hidden, he can be free as well." This time Nathan seduced his boss. Although he knew nothing happened last night, but still his mouth always wanted to tease his boss every chance. When else can you be free to flirt with a Sadewa?

Ruby approached Sandra who seemed to be waiting for her, because Sandra immediately took her into her room.

Ruby shook her head with a pouting face. Sandra could see the disappointment from the look on her daughter-in-law's face. 

"And I very much hope that the invaders will colonize you all night like their ancestors did."

"Haaaaah?" Ruby did not understand the direction of her in-laws' conversation. 

"Indeed, it's not easy to knock down Bule's defense. His self-worth is too high. And it looks like you're the one who should—bla,, blah, blah."

Ruby seemed to ignore the words of Sandra, because the words of the God who hurt her heart back up. 

"Why baby?" Sandra was confused to see Ruby suddenly cry. "Aren't you going to do all that?"

Ruby shook her head, but her cries grew louder. 

"God called me Arid field. He really doesn't think I'm a woman. He's really dropping my pride."

Sandra was enraged, already imagined by how her son dropped Ruby's pride with his words. This is the first time Sandra has seen Ruby cry because of a man and his son. 

"Well baby, you better not do what I told you to do. There is still plenty of time for us to devise a plan to attack the invaders. Just follow her wishes, okay?"

Yeah, looks like it's a better way for Ruby right now. 

Ruby and Dewa begin a romantic couple's drama that day, they continue to smile and join hands at a party event held at the Gods parents' residence. 

"You guys keep holding hands, but we haven't seen a more romantic scene than this." One of the young women who has a face type like Sandra. 

"Do we have to do that here?" The God retaliates against his cousin's temptation. 

"We'll be happy to watch it." Reply to the others. 

And their laughter broke with the brain that had been polluted by imagining the perverted scene of God and Ruby. 

Without God guessing and imagining, suddenly Ruby kissed her cheeks in front of her relatives making a party by the action of Ruby. 

The god immediately turned his eyes to the woman who was now legally his wife. Staring at Ruby's face questioningly as if asking 'What are you doing?'. But what God saw, Ruby smiled sweetly as she looked at her face a moment later God felt the clasped hands cupping her face, a few seconds later the kiss landed again, no longer on his cheeks but right on his lips. 

And as Ruby guessed the party atmosphere was getting boisterous by the cheers of the Gods relatives who were watching them. While God was feeling the fireworks from inside his chest. 

Ruby is like challenging a man who has hurt his heart because he has dropped his pride by calling it Arid Field. 

"Fuck that stupid deal. Because you're mine anyway." Ruby. 

Ruby's war drums have sounded, it means she is ready with various war strategies to fight the occupier who is her own husband.
