Tom felt so happy and moved when he first held his son. He looked lovingly at the two-month-old baby boy. As if you can feel the relationship with the father, the baby also looks happy to be in Tom's arms.
Yes, before Tom left, he asked Alula for permission to meet his son. Although scared, Alula also did not have the heart to forbid Tom to meet his son. Besides, there's Widya and Samuel here, there's no way Tom's gonna take the baby.
"Papa is so grateful God has brought you into your life." Tom kissed his son's forehead affectionately.
"Thank you for giving birth to our son." Alula was wide-eyed when Tom suddenly kissed her cheek. So that makes Alula surprised and embarrassed because Tom kissed her right in front of Widya and Samuel.
Widya and Samuel were delighted to see the little family of her daughter-in-law. They hope that Alula will forgive Tom and return to life together for the happiness of their young grandson.
After hugging and kissing his son, Tom handed the baby back to Alula. As he had said earlier, Tom immediately left despite feeling unwilling to separate from his wife and child.
That day Tom returned to Jakarta because there was still a lot of work to be done. But maybe in a few days Tom will come again to Bali to meet Alula and her son. And Tom will never stop doing that until Alula comes back to him.
Tom's arrival earlier, did not make Alula undo his intention to move. Although Widya had tried to hold Alula, but Alula remained steadfast with her decision. Widya also had to respect Alula's decision. But, of course Widya will not let her daughter-in-law and granddaughter just like that. He had already placed a few people around the new Alula residence to keep them safe.
"Auntie, I'm off to work first. Remember, don't open the door if there's an unknown person." Alula messages to a woman in her forties, who is her son's nanny.
"Well, madam." replied the woman who immediately locked the door as soon as Alula left.
Though worried about leaving her son, Alula has to keep working. He was used to working hard. He cannot hope for others. What else to Tom.
A few days had passed, but Alula's worry never happened. Even if Tom never came. Either meet him or meet his son. Where to when the weekend arrives.
Alula was so happy that she could spend all day with her son. Alula had just finished dinner after putting Bastian to bed when someone knocked on her door.
Alula was surprised to see Tom standing at her doorstep. Alula was scared. But he hid his fear.
Tom kept smiling despite not getting a pleasant welcome from his wife.
"I want to see how you are" Tom replied honestly.
"May I come in ?" tom asked as Alula did not seem to be intending to accept his arrival.
Alula nodded after seeing Tom's appearance from top to bottom. The man who was her husband looked a little shabby and looked tired on his handsome face.
Yes, Tom was tired because he had just returned from work at five in the afternoon and immediately went to the airport to go to Bali to meet his wife and child.
"Thank you." Tom handed over the two paper bags he had brought to Alula. Then it opens properly before entering the house.
Alula placed the paper bag on the living room table. Alula did not ask what it contained and for whom even though she was curious.
"That's for you and the other one's for our son" Tom said although Alula did not ask.
"Next time no need to do it. We don't need anything from you" Alula said, causing Tom's heart to melt.
But Tom wasn't offended or angry. It was fitting for him to remember his attitude towards Alula first.
"I. "had not had time for Tom to continue his sentence heard a rumbling sound coming from his stomach.
"I'm hungry. Do you have any food ?"
Alula sniffed at Tom's question asking for food at her house.
