Ch. 57

Now Alula and Tom are sitting in the living room facing each other. This time Alula wanted to talk seriously and had to get a decision about their marriage relationship.

"What do you want ? why did you bring your clothes here ?" ask Alula first tama.

"We are husband and wife. We should live together and live together. Now we have a child who needs both parents. You don't want to come with me. Then I'll stay with you." replied Tom at length.

He had to explain everything in order for Alula to understand and there were no more misunderstandings.

"But I don't want to live with you anymore. I want us to..."

"What about Bastian ? he needs a father" Tom said quickly before Alula finished her sentence.

Tom knew Alula would definitely ask for a divorce from him. And Tom won't let that happen.

"I can take care of it myself."

Again Tom sighed in the face of the wife's stubbornness.

"I know what it's like to live without a father and you know better. Do you want our son to feel that way ?" said Tom lirih.

It wasn't that he was trying to touch Alula's weak side. But that's the truth. His father's family even refused to acknowledge his existence. From the time Tom was born until the age of eight he did not know the figure of his father.

Then came a man who claimed to be his father. Tom was so happy then. But when he found out that the man already had another woman besides his mother made Tom so hate the figure of the father.

Alula was silent at what Tom said. She did not want her son to suffer the same fate as her. But remembering how Tom treated her used to make Alula reluctant to return.

Tom got up from his seat and moved beside Alula.

Alula ventured into the eyes of the man in front of her to seek honesty and sincerity in her words.

Slowly Alula nodded. I decided to give Tom a chance. Though hesitant, he should not be selfish. There is a little soul that will definitely need the affection of a father.

"good. I'll give you a chance just this once" Alula said firmly.

"Thank you." Tom kissed Alula's hand because she was so happy that Alula finally accepted her again.

"I promise to fulfill all your wishes. Except to separate from me." continued the man.

Alula frowned hearing Tom's words. He never said what he wanted to the man apart from asking for a divorce.

"Do you know what I want ?" ask Alula curiously.

As Alula recalled she never told the man anything about his life.

"Of course I know. And I know all about the woman I love." said Tom with a face full of happiness.

"What ?"

"I'll show you. But not today. Now there's something more important to do." Tom pulled Alula's hand walking hurriedly into the room making Alula so thoughtless.

Meanwhile, in a luxury house, Widya felt so happy when Samuel said that Tom was willing to accept and take over the leadership of his company. But something suddenly flashed through Widya's mind.

"Sam, what if Alula finds out we're Tom's parents ?" ask Widya worriedly.
