Ch. 63
In the morning, as usual, Tom and Alula do their respective routines.
"Today I can't pick you up. You can go home by yourself, right ?" tom said while driving his car to drive Alula first.
Tom's schedule is very tight today. As CEO he had to meet and get acquainted with several business partners who worked with PF Company.
"I've also been going and coming home from work myself" Alula replied.
"sorry. I've only been able to find you for too long" said Tom regretfully.
Tom has put all his power into searching for Alula. But because Alula was deliberately hidden by her father, Tom's men could not trace the woman's whereabouts.
"Please don't go again." Tom took Alula's hand and kissed her. There was a tone of regret in his words.
Yes, Tom was sorry for being so bad to Alula that he made her leave.
Alula was silent and did not reply to Tom's words. He did not know what to answer because honestly there was still a sense of doubt in Alula's heart.
"Thank you for driving me." Alula slowly pulled her hand. Then he got out of the car.
Tom drove back to his work car. Ready to start a day full of excitement. But Tom had already told his assistant to limit his schedule to just late afternoon. Special today and tomorrow. Because tonight he will bring Alula to meet her parents and tomorrow they will move to a new house.
Time is also rolling so fast. The clock has shown six in less than ten minutes. Suddenly Alula felt anxious because tonight Tom would bring and introduce her to her husband's parents. Which means in-laws.
How will Tom's father and stepmother react. Will they accept him and his son as a family. Or even the opposite.
After cleaning up Alula was getting ready while her son was still sleeping. At sixty-thirty minutes Tom finally arrived home.
The man smiled at the beautiful appearance of his wife.
"It's so pretty my wife." praise Tom while holding Alula's hand.
"You why ? sick ?" tom asked as he felt Alula's hand so cold.
Tom scowled and rubbed Alula's hands to relieve the cold. He was worried and afraid that something might happen to his wife.
"I'm fine." replied Alula
"But why are your hands so cold ?" ask Tom worriedly.
"A I'm just nervous about meeting your parents" Alula replied honestly. Because that's what he's feeling.
Alula remembers Tom's story last night about the marriage of her father and mother who were forced to divorce because they did not get the blessing. And Alula doesn't want that to happen to her remembering her life story just like Tom's mother who came from the orphanage.
"I'm scared. What if they don't accept me ?" alula revealed what she had been thinking since.
Hearing that, Tom smiled. It was possible that her father and stepmother did not accept Alula, while both of them were very affectionate towards Alula. Tom hasn't told me about their marriage yet.
Tom never told Samuel anything about himself. Even when he got married. Tom doesn't even need his father's blessing. It was Samuel who always found out about Tom through his man.
"Don't think too much. Everything's gonna be fine. Trust me." said Tom to calm Alula down.
Not much different from Alula, currently Widya is also anxious. He was afraid that Alula would be angry and hate him and Samuel for hiding their status as Tom's parents.
"Sam, what if Alula gets angry because she feels we've been cheating on her all this time ?" ask Widya worriedly.
"Don't think too much. Everything's gonna be fine. Believe me." Samuel said exactly as Tom said.
Like father like son's. That's how Samuel and Tom are. Tom never recognized Samuel as his father. Tom inherited Samuel's trait more than his mother's.
