23. Empress Death

Day after day passed, today was the day that the empress returned to the palace.

"Mother first concubine, thank you for taking care of Selia for these few days. Selia won't forget the kindness of first concubine's mother." Selia smiled.

"Yes, take good care of yourself, Princess." Evia said to Selia.

Evia and Selia immediately ran away to the empress' palace. Ales and Zen follow Evia and Selia.

"Where's mom?" Ask Selia to the waiter.

As she runs to her mother's room, Evia follows Selia.

Selia opened the door to her mother's room, and she saw her mother lying on the bed.

As she sat on her mother's bed, she held her mother's hand and cried "Mother! Awake up!"

Evia, Zen and Ales walked into the empress' room, they saw Selia who was crying beside the current empress.

The empress opened her eyes, she saw her crying daughter beside her. The empress tried to move her body, she rubbed Selia's hair.

"Selia, can you grant Mom's request?" Ask the empress in a weak tone.

"of course! Mama! Tell me, what's your request?" Selia asked, she hoped that with this her mother could be happy.

Zen looked at Selia and the empress, they looked like a mother and child in general, he became hesitant to believe the rumors circulating in the capital.
