83. Bickering

"Your ear is gone?" bereilla asked to make sure, Heria nodded confirming.

He ran, went to the places he had gone before, looking for his missing earrings.

"Heria! Wait for me!" Bereilla ran after Heria.

While Heria did not listen to what Bereilla said, the look on her face panicked.

He was afraid, what if the earrings were gone?

He was very sure that he was wearing it while going to this place.

"What's going on?" asked Zen who saw Heria panicking.

"Heria lost her earrings." It was not Heriah who answered him, but Bereilla. Heria still looked panicked as her earrings disappeared.

"We're here to find the jewel, not your missing earring. Stay focused on your mission." Zen said without caring about Heria.

Heria who heard it stopped, she turned her head and looked at Zen with a sharp and dislikeful gaze, "I'm not you who likes to waste valuables, the second Prince of Erlin's empire" he said, he suppressed every word.

"We are currently competing, 'senior'" said Zen, he pressed the word senior, so that Heria understood that he is a senior here, and should be more able to behave professionally.

"Yes, I know. But, in my opinion, those earrings are much more valuable than this match!" Heria stared intently at Zen, "You who live by wasting money, mana understand how valuable the earrings are!" continued.

Heria vented her emotions at Zen. Then he turned around, and left from there, leaving Zen and Bereilla.

"Heria!" Bereilla called Heria, but was not heard by her.

Zen looked at Bereilla who was standing beside him, "If you are also more concerned with the earrings, you better go." he said there was Bereilla.

Bereilla who heard it then looked at Zen, "It's not so, but please understand Heria, Zen" he said.

"I don't care about him or his missing earrings" said Zen, then he left Bereilla.

"Hey!" call Bereilla, but Zen doesn't care.

"They are both stubborn." murmured Bereilla.

"They fought" said Xava, who saw it from the screen.

"From her words, it seems like Heria hates nobles and the Imperial Family. They shouldn't be a team." Hain replied.

'Heria's missing earrings, possibly jewels. And that diamond was what their group was looking for.' Inner Lisia, she then she stared at the screen which showed where Zen was still looking for the gem, 'Zen was trying to be professional. But, he had no idea, that the earrings were the diamonds they were looking for. They lack communication.' he continued inwardly.

"Isn't he your son, Emperor Erlin?" ask Emperor Arrilla.

Emperor Erlin looked at Emperor Arrilla, "Yes" he said briefly.

"How do you educate Prince Zen so that his attitude is like that?" ask Emperor Arrilla.

"At least, my way of educating her is better than your way of educating Princess Arlisia." retorted Emperor Erlin, intending to offend Emperor Arrilla.

Heria had already gone away from Zen. He looked for his earrings to all the places he had been to earlier.

Where's the earring?

He hoped, the earrings didn't disappear.

The earrings were earrings that her mother bought for her birthday present. His mother got the earrings with great difficulty.

He works here and there, looking for money to buy those earrings.

His mother once worked as a waitress at the Count's residence. There, he earned a huge salary. But his work is also very hard.

He had to serve the Count Princess who always tortured his servants. The Count's daughter always hit her servant using a whip no matter the pain her servant received.

But, Heria's mother did not stop working there. It was because of the salary he received. With his one-month salary he was there, enough for the cost of living with his daughter for 1 year.

He did not even care about the pain he was suffering and continued to work. Every time he came home from work, he would hide his pain from Heria.

Heria welcomed her mother with joy, not knowing how her mother really was.

After 3 months of working there, Heria's mother bought jewel earrings using her salary. For Heria's 12th birthday present. He gave the gift to Heria, and Heria was very happy.

Heria's mother continued to work there, and 5 months after she worked there, she was unable to endure all her pain. He died when he was struck by the Count's Princess.

Heria's mother, who was already in a state of lifelessness, was escorted to her home. Heria saw her mother crying. Then, she learned everything that her mother had experienced during these 5 months.

Ever since then, Heria had hated Nobles and the Imperial Family. Think that they are just rich people who like to torture the poor.

He kept his mother's salary from the job. Heria chooses never to use the money, she works and makes other money.

While her mother's earrings were given, she honestly wanted to throw them away. But, given his mother's struggle to buy him those earrings, he undoes his intentions. He kept wearing those earrings to remember his mother.

He learned magic, and his magic power was great. His strength was heard by several academies and he got an invitation from several academies. And finally, Heria chose to accept the invitation from the Magic Academy.

Bereilla ran and approached Zen, "Hey, Zen. Please understand Heria's feelings." Bereilla tried to persuade Zen.

"He must have panicked because the earrings were his favorite" Bereilla said.

"I don't care. If he is more concerned with the earrings, then just look for the earrings" said Zen.

"Hey! Understand slightly! Have you never lost anything valuable to you?!" Bereilla finally vented her emotions.

Hearing Bereilla's words, Zen's memories revolved, recalling the moment he saw his mother's corpse.

He stopped looking and looked at Bereilla, "I don't care" she said, then left Bereilla.
