Ales saw Zen who was having lunch with Princess Selia and Evia, he had heard that Zen had rejected the position of Crown Prince.

'The prince should accept the position of Crown Prince, so that he can survive in this palace. But, the prince definitely did not want this imperial family relationship to be further broken if he accepted the position, the prince's heart was too kind.' Thought Ales.

"I heard, the second prince often comes out of the palace and goes to the capital, what if we take advantage of the opportunity?" Speak of the eighth concubine.

"Good idea! I'll send the assassin to kill the second prince." Speak the fifth concubine.

Zen was currently going quietly to exit the palace.

Selia followed Zen, since the meeting yesterday, her premonition was bad. Therefore, he wanted to follow Zen to make sure Zen was okay. He didn't want Zen to end up the same as his brother and mother.

Zen was of course aware of Selia's existence, after arriving at the palace walls. Zen did not climb the palace walls, he just remained silent.

Selia was confused by Zen's actions 'Why didn't big brother climb the wall?'

"You're there, aren't you, Selia?" Zen.

Selia was surprised, Zen realized his existence?

Selia shows herself "M-sorry, I–"

"Why are you following me?" Asked Zen coldly.

"That's it, since yesterday's meeting, it's possible that the third prince, the second princess and the third princess will harm the elder sister, so I–"

Zen interrupted Selia's saying "So you want to protect me? You think I'm that weak that I need your protection? Did you forget why you wanted to make me Crown Prince?"

Selia was still lowered, was it wrong if she wanted to protect her brother?

Zen left the palace, he walked away to the capital. The distance is quite far, but Zen has become accustomed.

On the way, Zen saw with a green-haired girl who had fainted by the river. Zen walked up to the girl and checked her condition.

'It looks like he didn't drown in the river and drift here.' Zen looked at the basket containing the clothes next to the girl 'Looks like she fainted while washing clothes.'

Zen used his healing magic to heal the girl.

Shortly after, the girl opened her eyes. Zen let out a sigh of relief.

"You okay?" Ask Zen.

The girl nodded "Y-yes, thank you."

"What's your name?" Ask Zen.

"I'm Kalia, you?" Ask Kalia.

"I'm Zen. Hello, Kalia." Zen said with a smile.

"Greetings, Zen." Kalia.

"Why did you faint?" Ask Zen.

"So I just finished washing clothes, then my head suddenly hurt so I fainted." Kalia.

"Where do you live? Let me take you to your house." Zen.

"Eh? It's not necessary, I don't want to trouble you." Kalia.

Zen stood up, he extended his hand to Kalia "It's okay, I don't feel any hassles." Zen smiled.

They walked, and Kalia showed the way. The basket was carried by Zen.

"So where's your house?" Ask Zen.

"In the capital." Kalia.

Zen stopped, Kalia turned her head "Why did you stop, Zen?"

Zen threw the basket, then pulled out his sword and pointed it at Kalia's neck.

Kalia surprised "Zen? What's up?"

Zen stared intently at Kalia "Don't pretend, I know everyone in the capital." Zen.

"I'm a new citizen, so maybe you don't know me." Kalia.

"Don't lie!" Zen raised his voice "Who are you really?"

Kalia smiled "Knowledge huh? You're so smart, no wonder the Emperor wants to hand over the position of Crown Prince to you." Kalia.

Kalia looked at Zen's sword, she held it "I have known your cleverness, now I want to know your strength."

Kalia attacked Zen from behind using root magic, Zen turned his head and cut off all those roots.

Zen turned around and did not find Kalia 'Where is she?'

Zen looked to the right and to the left, but found Kalia nowhere.

Kalia was suddenly on top of Zen, Zen was surprised 'He's upstairs?!'

Kalia pulled out her sword and attacked Zen. Zen used his sword to resist Kalia's attack.

Kalia leaped backwards, then attacked Zen from the front. Zen repels any Kalia attacks.

Zen used his magic on his sword, then he attacked Kalia using that sword. Kalia dodged him and attacked Zen from behind.

Zen uses protective magic, Kalia is shocked.

Zen removes his protective magic and attacks Kalia. Zen removes Kalia's sword and kicks Kalia.

Kalia was thrown backwards and fell on the ground. Zen poked the ground next to Kalia's ear.

"You're a hit man, aren't you? Who told you to kill me?" Ask Zen.

Kalia did not answer.

'I won't be able to defeat him!' Thought Kalia.

Kalia attacks Zen using her magic. Then he took out his sword and pierced his own heart.

Kalia looked at Zen "You're great, Zen. Even I know that right now you are not using all your abilities, I will not be able to defeat you. Zen, I warn you. Be careful." Said Kalia in a weak tone.

Kalia fell to the ground, and she closed her eyes for good.

Zen carried Kalia and brought her to the palace.

Right now, everyone is figuring out the identity of the hitman, and who told him to.

"What the fuck?! Zen managed to kill that assassin!" Said the second concubine.

"The Queen and the Crown Prince were killed! Why is he safe?!" Speak of the eighth concubine.

"Explain all this, fifth concubine!" The second concubine looked at the fifth concubine.

The fifth concubine thought "Right! He must have underestimated the second prince so much that he sent the weakest man! Since that second prince lost, I will have him send a very strong man to kill the second prince!" Speak the fifth concubine.

The second concubine was not sure, but she still gave the fifth concubine a second chance "Alright, make sure the second prince dies! If the second prince doesn't die, then we'll find another way." Said the second concubine.

The fifth concubine and the eighth concubine nodded, they agreed to the words of the second concubine.
