Chapter 3 (Part 3)
Dreamtime
Shumi that day changed the entire schedule he usually did that day and changed it to meet with his spiritual teacher whom he called Mother Monata. He orders Shukoi to tell Monata that he will meet him, then he gets ready.
She is a 65-year-old grandmother who began to wrinkle, but her name is very famous throughout the country. His posture is about 170 cm and dark brunettes are always outlined along his shoulders. Her white skin and black eyeballs made her still beautiful to a grandmother. He was an expert in the field of royal psychology and became a royal advisor.
About two hours after Shumi ordered Shukoi to meet Monata first, he finally arrived at the royal meditation building that Monata used to use daily. The location is not integrated with the palace building, but still inside the palace complex on the south side corner. It takes a few minutes to walk to get there.
“My respect, Princess Shumi, healthy and happy always,” welcome Monata while slightly bowing in front of her stool.
Shumi nodded, “Thank you, Dear Mother Monata,” then she immediately sat on the bench that had been provided, just opposite the position Monata was in at the moment. Behind Shumi, Shukoi who had pulled the bench to make a gap for Shumi to sit, now also bent over. “Please sit down, Mother Monata and Shukoi, and I want just the three of us in this room,” Shumi orders gently.
Everyone followed Shumi's orders. Shukoi and Monata sat down, while the three soldiers who were in the room with Monata walked away after paying their respects.
“You look healthy, Mom,” greet Shumi while smiling looking at Monata's face.
Monata smiled, “thanks to the prayer of the Princess who always called this old grandmother by the name of Mother,” replied. “What's the Princess? It's been a month or so you don't visit officially like this,” asked.
“Dad hasn't spoken to you, Ma?” Shumi turned around asking, “about my dream,” he continued.
Monata laughed a little. “You are indeed very keen on reading the situation, Princess!” he said, “ya, His Majesty the King this morning met me for a while before going to the warrior barracks. He also thought the Princess would be here, so I was not so surprised when Shukoi met me earlier,”.
“Daddy who is smarter than me, he already knows I will be here huh?” welcome Shumi a little disappointed, “means I don't need to tell my dreams huh?” tanyakanya.
“Your Majesty didn't say that, He just told me that you had a very real nightmare and that the third time, it looks like the Princess will need me. So about the words of He, Princess,” explained Monata.
“Alright,” replied Shumi, then he told me all the dreams he had, from the first dream to the dream he had just had last night. Monata was always surprised after hearing what he was told, story by story, part by part, until he woke up after seeing a man killed and left horror in his mind.
“The magic that the person uses is Top-level black magic, Mr. Princess,”.
“And the Princess has never known it before, Madam Monata,” explained Shukoi.
“Yes, I have never seen it before,” added Shumi, “but, there is something else I just realized, namely in the first and second dreams, namely, I just seemed to be shown something and I was just like a spectator at a drama show on stage. I don't feel my feelings and thoughts coming together. But in my dream last night, I felt something. I felt sadness, amazement and fear at the same time. And it carried on until I woke up.”
“Good, then, more info I can know, Mr Princess?” ask Modena, “ things like the activities you are doing and become a burden on the mind of Mr Putri?”
“Ya, a.a.I as usual, always do my routine that I have scheduled before, except today of course,” replied Shumi in the end after a few seconds of silence, “I practice archery, I do not know how to do archery, breathing techniques, reading in the library, meeting some people in the city, and yes indeed, who is currently weighing on my mind is a concoction for my mother.”
“Didn't His Majesty drink every day of your homemade potion, Princess?” ask Modena.
“Yes, it's a potion that I created with the Head of the Military Potion Division and his best team, but as long as we don't know what Mother's illness is, it will be difficult to find a truly suitable herb," shumi replied, “we always work hard so that Mom can recover.” Unconsciously, Shumi's mind seemed to start whitening from the darkness of his dreams last night.
“But, Her Majesty the Queen looks getting better, right?” sahut Modena, “two days ago I went to his room because I wanted to discuss the rules regarding female soldiers who want to get married. He was very attentive to his people even though he was weak like that. Living and healthy is always Her Majesty Queen Stephanie.”
“Thank you, Ms. Modena," said Shumi, “ya, I'm very worried about Mom's health lately."
“Good, Mr. Princess," said Modena, “in my opinion, it may also be wrong, but in terms of the world of psychology, what you experience is a psychosis problem, where you more precisely experience delusions that seem to be conveyed to your dreams, Princess," he explained again.
Shumi started to falter. He felt that what was being talked about about the power and gifts of the gods was a mere hallucination. “But what if this is a gift? What if I was an indigo?” concluded Shumi while slightly glancing at Shukoi, “Shukoi has explained a little about it and I believe enough because the dream I experienced is very real.”
Modena was a bit surprised, she was silent for a while. Then, he smiled and said, “I don't think so, Princess. If you are an indigo, the signs about it will have been around since you were a child. But, as far as I know, you have only experienced this since the night after your birthday, right?”
Shumi this time was silent again. He glanced at Shukoi again and he remained expressionless. “Maybe,” he said softly.
“My advice, Mr. Princess,” said Modena, “You reduce your busyness and multiply rest your mind. You can be bored enough to stay behind the walls of this fort, so your delusions begin to rule you. I will help speak to Your Majesty so that you can go out at least to take a walk to another city.”
Shumi seemed to have missed all her burden. What Modena was talking about was very logical and took off all the burdens she felt lately. He really wanted to go out of town and know the world firsthand. He thought that he was mature and strong enough, if escorted with the elite soldiers of the kingdom of course, to travel around the kingdom. As the heir to the throne, he desperately needed that.
“I've had decades to overcome this problem, Princess, so please don't doubt me,” Modena said breaking Shumi's silence and cutting off her mind that was almost overwhelmed by the power of her dreams again.
“It seems so, Bu Modena,” Shumi said, “aku is quite good now, your explanation is very useful.”
“Thank you, Milord!” reply Modena, “don't lose that thought by drinking a certain potion, Princess. It is only temporary,” he explained advocating.
“Almost also I took that option, Mom,” said Shumi, “but indeed, the sedative herb is only temporary.”
Shortly after that, they did not continue the conversation. Shumi, who failed to get what he really wanted to know, now felt his mind was much clearer. He felt this was better than he had to dwell on something that was not necessarily the truth. Although far from the bottom of his heart, there are those who reject what Modena has said. But, his logic and very positive soul make him have to keep going.
